Airtel Broadband - No Connection, No Refund

    Default Airtel Broadband - No Connection, No Refund

    Dear ConsumerCourt,

    Posting my complaint here as I haven't been able to get a satisfactory response for over a month now from Airtel....

    1. I applied for an Airtel Broadband connection
    2. I got a SMS stating that my reference number is 437528141 on 7th Dec and that Airtel would revert within 48 hours post ascertaining technical feasibility.
    3. Interestingly, I got the above SMS again on 11th Dec - the 2 days had already become 5-6 days.
    4. I got calls from Airtel who said that a representative would come and pick my documents
    5. Your representative Gopal (9845304499) came and collected Rs. 850 from my office premises along with my ID proof, address proof and a photograph.
    6. I got an SMS on 24th Dec stating that the connection cannot be provided due to non coverage of area
    7. I have then raised a refund request which hasn't happened.
    8. Its more than a month now......
    Isn't it Airtel's responsibility to provide a refund in case of not being able to provide a connection at customer's premises?

    Please help me..
