    Default Unhappy with Airtel service

    Hi,

    My name is Krishna Samaga and I am from Bangalore. We have been using Airtel braodband service for nearly 2 years with the airtel number 080-42174167 which is in the name of my brother Shrinath Samaga and last year december (December 2011), we were not able to use internet for some problem with the provider.

    I called up the customer service to raise a complaint on this issue and the complaint number for reference is 9770862. I was assured that the problem will be fixed by next day 1:30 PM but eventually I did not recieve any updates for next 3-4 days. With no option left, I called up the customer service again and the same assurance of fixing the issue in a day was given by Airtel. This assuring and not turning up with the solution continued for 2-3 times after which i decided to call it an end.

    On the first week of January 2012, i placed an request to cancel my Airtel account and the cancellation number for reference in 9980482. While placing an cancellation request, the representitive informed me that I should be clearing my existing unbilled amount for the current month and I did pay 1100 INR as I wanted a smooth exit from irritating Airtel service inspite of not having internet connection for 15 days. Also the representative told me that my connection will be discontinued with in 7 days but as expected, Airtel never turned back with any update on the request.

    I again placed a complaint on 19-Jan-2012 with complaint number 10519422 that inspite of placing a cancellation request, I have not been getting any updates on cancellation process. Airtel representative Deepika assured me that this issue will be resolved with 21-Jan-2012 3:30 PM. But till today, I have not got any updates on my complaint/request status.

    And at the end, I am pretty sure that Airtel will send me the bill to my door step promptly without providing me the service.

    Can anyone please help me with getting out of this mess at the earliest?

    Default Complaint against Airtel Broadband disconnection

    Please help me out to get out of this! I have not yet recieved any communication from Airtel side to close the connection.
