    Angry Complaint - Airtel Broadband Cancellation

    Hi,

    I had asked for cancellation of my Airtel Broadband connection on 10th Dec 2011 (Airtel no. - 40611632). The Airtel customer care and associates asked me to submit applications and details in person , which I did . Still they did not cancel the connection. And had been receiving ebills.

    I had paid all the bills. My billing cycle being 16th - 17th , I had paid the entire amount inorder to cancel the connection for Nov. They confirmed me that the connection would be cancelled and no bills would be generated henceforth. But still I am receiving bills. I am not in Kolkata since 10th Dec, hence I cannot even access the internet.

    Also I sent them mails to sent me the hard copy, instead the 121 customer care sent me a mail that they will not cancel the connection since I sent a mail of rejecting the cancellation procedure.I don't understand whether they understand English or not. In simple language I wrote to send me a cancellation hard copy.

    If this complaint is being looked upon by Airtel, please do something. As I am tired of visiting personally and sending mails which I do not get proper respond. If I asked for paying bill I get immediate respond but when I speak of cancellation no one responds. Great!!!
