    Default Airtel broad band billing problem-Bangalore

    I am having Airtel Broadband from last 1 year (No - 080-42138509 A/c no - 16241139). I have been using 599/- broadband plan all along. Suddenly on last july, I got a huge bill around 2757/- for the period of june/2011 tojuly2011 .Immediately after receiving this bill i send a mail to airtel customer care to check the bill and to cancell the connection if not resolved.Again next month also i received a bill for 2895 saying that my usage is very high.But i never used to download this connection for any movie or songs.So i again send mail to cancell the connection with immediate effect.But i didnt receive any proper response from airtel.Same happend next month (august2011-sep2011) i got a bill for 2757. Since then I have written around hundreds of mails(including airtel nodal officers and center heads) , called several times but the issue is unresolved(complaint no2542036 and many more..every time i got new no). after that the connection got disconnected.Initially they were not accepting their fault but after that they accepted and proposed a waver.since these airtel executives are changing their words i asked for a wriiten communication.Then i received a mail from airtel (Prashanth.Shetty@in.airtel.com) on 11 november 2011 stating that the extra amount is waved.(mail screen shot is attached). (Then after few days i got a call from another executive telling that the amout is 9000 and thr full amount should be paid.Atter that again another executive called and offerd the amount is waved.

    Moreover, several of my friends in Bangalore experienced similar kind of issues and leaving Airtel. I just want to inform you that service of your billing department in Bangalore is just pathetic and I would suggest you to root out the problem and fix it immediately.

    Now i got a mail from airtel saying that the this will be treated in Prelitigation Lok Adalath on 30.01.12 (Monday) between 11:30 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.Venue: - Deputy Registrar, 2nd Floor, City Civil Court Complex, Behind Kaveri Bhavan, Bangalore.As i am busy with my work i may not be able to attend this.
    Please guide me how to handle these cheaters (airtel),by means of consumer court or any other leagal process.

    Default AIRTEL Harassment : Incorrect BroadBand Bill

    I took Airtel Braodband connection on 11th September-2011
    My monthly plan is Turbo 4Mbps 75 GB . Plan start date is 11th Sep -
    After 1 week the connection got terminated due to Airtel Technical issue. Several complaints had been made and after 5 days the conection was again working .
    first month bill - from 11th sep to 10 oct as per bill satement is Rs.2965 which was incorrect . I received 2 bills for one connection . so instead of Rs 1699 + taxes i received Rs 2695 as bill amount.
    After repeated complaints to AIrtel customer care , even then the problem was not resolved and Airtel people called several times and told that problem is resolved and i will be receiving correct bill .
    Again after a month i received 2 bills for a single connection ( this time for some number from Chennai ) . total of 15 - 20 complaints were made but nothing was done from Airtel . someone from Airtel used to call everyday and harass me for payment for 2 bills even though i had only one connections.
    I had made payment of Rs 500 ( installation ) + 1st month Bill ( 1900) + second month Bill ( 1900) .
    Also i had made a request for plan change , Airtel told that it will be changed from Oct 12 and then Nov 12th .
    But instead of changing the plan and correcting the bill Airtel , disconnected my connection saying that bill was due .
    During the month of October i had told Airtel that if the problem was not resolved I will be terminating the connection .
    And finally during October i went to Airtel customer care and gave request for termination and before that i had given request through mail also .

    I am attaching several mails for your reference .

    I had given request for bill plan change a month back . And i also made payment
    according to my actual bill . So there is no question of blocking the
    connection due to non payment . Its AIRTEL's mistakes and i am suffering
    because of that .

    Its really horrible experience . Send me actual bill and term
