    Unhappy Tikona Broadband: Request to Discontinue Service

    I am a extremely dissatisfied user of Tikona Broadband service. I have been their customer since a couple of months. My only condition to them was that their connectivity should not go down and minimum yahoo.com/rediff.com/gmail.com should open without hiccups. What I have been experiencing is a highly erratic connectivity. I have to repair my LAN adapter every 5 minutes to maintain connectivity. This is no exaggeration as while I type this, the problem exists.

    I have raised this issue with their tech team and a technician did visit my place to rectify this. However, while it seemed to work after he bypassed the PoE switch, the issue surfaced within an hour of his departure. I am done with this and want to put an end to my misery.

    I have raised a request with Tikona Customer Care to inform their "Disconnection Team" (they say there is a seprate disconnection team who will call me within 3 days) about my request. The fact is, having read all the complaints I do not believe then 1%. While I am ready to pay all dues to discontinue my service very promptly I want to make sure that they discontinue my service and never call me back. Please guide me through this process.

    Hi,


    I had a tikona connection uid: 1103710579. Last month I relocated to a new address and wanted to shift my tikona connection.
    But even after providing all the necessary proof related documents and waiting for more than a week, the relocation didn't happen. Every time I called they kept saying we haven't received the documents whereas I have mail proof of sending the document and getting a response back from customer care too.


    After getting the worst customer service and getting betrayed by them, I decided to disconnect the service and go for a different internet provider. I called them up and requested for disconnection. THen they started giving false promises that it will be done today for 3 days..


    After being completely fed up I registered a request for disconnection. I sent a mail also and registered the request on phone also. They said they will come and collect the modem and other stuff within 7-10 days.


    THen I got no calls or responses from them. After 9 days when I call them they said he will come today. Same answer on 10th and 11th day too... But still noone has come...


    They are the biggest looters and cheaters in the broadband world..




    Be aware of TIKONA cheaters association..

    Dear Tikona Services,

    I had purposefully waited for the bill to get generated. You have informed through your above email that my usage between 1 Jan 2012 to 21 Jan 2012 has been 1.22GB. But since the day I have logged the complaint in this forum I have not been using Tikona connection. In fact the ethernet cable is lying disconnected in my house. And now to my suprise the current bill shows that I have a usage of 4.7GB for the month of Jan 2012. How is this possible when I am not using your services? How can you justify a usage of 4.7GB - 1.22GB between 21st Jan and 31st Jan?


    How is it that my bill is 990/- when my plan is BB449? Why am I charged twice quoting recurring charges?

    Now that I have paid my bill (paid 464.49/-) when can I see it disconnected and phyically removed from my house?

    Hi Tikona Services,

    Plan: some 549 plan (6GB for 2mbps and rest unlimited for 256kbps

    I have called up your technical support team consistently over the past 6 days.

    My problem:

    Connection registered by: Sagar (His Team Lead's name is Mr. Prasad)
    Connection done by: Ashutosh

    After internet connection was done at my place, when i started browsing gmail , facebook, it was taking a lot of time to load. Also when i started downloading attachments from gmail, the same was taking forever to download. This has not changed over a long time. I had to keep my laptop ON all day to download a 256MB file which otherwise with a 2 MBps connection should not take more than half hour.

    When i raised my first complaint: I called up your technical team, and explained them that I am not getting enough speed. A ticket was raised and a person Dhananjay was assigned to me. He calls me during work hours and tells me that he is coming now. When i asked him to come later in the evening, he said "dekhoonga" and cuts the phone, and never picks up even when i tried to call him back.

    After repeated complaints of poor transfer rate, when i called them today, he tells me, sir you have used 4GB (which is impossible given the trasfer rate i get of 10 -25kbps max) and that now my plan is shifted to 256kbps since the limit is over. On speaking to a senior he talks to me very rudely - Mr. Aashish Hariyani (maybe its spelt differently) and tells me he will resolve the problem and call back. However, he has not called me back.

    All you guys say is " Sir, you have used up your quota for the cycle and NOW its going to be 256kbps speed". What you guys will never understand is that i have ever experienced high speeds everrrrr.

    Please Help me someone. Tikona Support hangs up the phone in between when they realize they dont know what to do about it.

    @spaulose

    No need of doing the extra payments it was tikona's fault. I'm also facing the waiver problem and it has been more than 6 months neither they have disconnected nor they ready to give correct waiver so don't worry nothing will happen, please give your vote for my poll. check out this:
