I have bought an airtel datacard (My only mistake) from my office(wipro tech.-gurgaon)...I opted a plan( with corporate offer) where I was suppose to get 7.2 Mbps speed and 6.2 Gb download in the first month and 3.2 Gb free in the months that follow at Rental of Rs 675.
Now the following are what I experienced :
1. Delay of 5 days in the initial connection total 7 day from day of application -still fine with me since it is a postpaid-might take time.
2.Then I noticed that airtel is TAPPING download speed while using torrents,other downloads..etc..- which i filed a complain with airtel and got absolutely no response later.
3. The bill of the first month gave me only 3.2 Gb free for first month I had a total usage of 6.7 Gb - I was charged a whooping Rs 1275 /- I complained in this regard also and got no response.Tried to contact the wipro contact person in airtel-too didnt attend any of the calls or mails!
4.By this time I thought I would still pay the bill and tried to pay it when my card connection got suspended - The address verification team say that they had come once and did not find me at home during the day(office hours - I guess airtel thinks all their customers stay at home jobless )- Did not contact me.-I was not even informed that such an unappointed verification would come from airtel.The team didnt bring this to light even 4 weeks later.
