I run my own business in Patna with 20 systems in the name of Chanakya Edusys. I got an Online Data Entry project in the beginning of November 2011. I was the Sify Broadband subscriber since last one year but for the new project I was needed a high speed internet connection with at least 10 systems connected with LAN so I talked to Mr. Pappu ( Sale Professional-9304832626) of Sify. He showed me various plans & finally suggested me a 1 mbps RF plan in which I had to pay a lump sum of Rs 12,000 as advance rental for the next six months meeting my requirements. I told him to process and issued a cheque worth Rs 11,499 Cheque No. 002383, ICICI Bank, Darbhanga in favour of Sify's distributor Asquare Zone.
After so many follow ups a technician was sent to us to install the connection on 16th Nov 2011 but while configuring there was a problem. The technician told the connection cant be installed since this plan is not for your purpose because only four IP & address will be given to you and four systems can be run. I made a great objection that this cant fulfill my demand because I needed at least 10 systems connected in a network. They went back & despite my regular calls they did not entertain my calls. I was helpless since my work was badly affected due to it & finally after couple of days Mr. Pappu apologize me & told me to go for another plan after paying some extra cost for installation otherwise you can use this plan to work on only four systems. I denied to pay more since it was a complete cheating with me & told him to configure all four IP addresses into four diffrent systems but only one IP Address was configured & rest three are still waiting to be configured despite my numerous calls & request at the customer care. No body took pain to get me the solution.
Finally. I shifted my business on 2nd Jan 2012 to some other location in Kankarbagh Area in Patna & called Mr. Pappu to assist me in transferring the connection to the new location. I talked to Mr. Rajesh, Sify's distributor (Asquare Zone 9334120658) as well & he also assured me the fast service but dont know why both have stopped picking my calls since last couple of days. Even no response from the Sify customer care.
Looking at the whole response from Sify associates I believe availing a service & putting money was the worst decision of me. I have already sent a message to them that I am going to lodge a complaint to the consumer forum but no response.
I am really surprised by their reactions.
I hereby attach some scanned documents for your reference.
Hope I get the solution from your side, I had to bear a penalty from my client for not meeting my business commitments only due to their negligence.
