I have also been cheated by TIKONA Broadband services, The modus operandi is quite similar they advertise & we fill our contact info & pay them to become a PREY.
A sales executive had visited us on 26th of March 2012 & told us to try their services, he made us understand that ADBF512K is an excellent plan where once we pay Rs. 3300 & then no more payment is required for the next 20 Months.
I got the services active very next day i.e 27th March 2012 as I had paid entire amount online using my credit card.
Once the services were active I found that the SPEED was PATHETIC even slower to a DIAL UP connection.....
I used it for a day to check the speed at different hours of the day but it remained horribly slow.....
I then asked TIKONA to refund my money or upgrade it to a plan where speed was acceptable, I requested them to shift me to unifi3999 plan.
I told them that i am willing to pay the extra/difference amount if any. I WAS told that I have to forget the money paid to them & PAY THEM AGAIN 3999 TO SHIFT TO THE NEW PLAN.
I stopped using TIKONA services for the next 2 months asking for refund but they have clarified that WE SHOULD FORGET ANY REFUNDS FROM TIKONA. As they never refund money back to customers on one pretext or other.
Now on the service part, its VERY DIFFICULT to LOGG INTO TIKONA NETWORK. AT PEAK HOURS its almost IMPOSSIBLE TO GET CONNECTED & we need to keep trying for hours just to get connected.....
IS THIS THE WAY YOU CHEAT YOUR CUSTOMERS ????
