This is in regard to the Service Request reference no. 8936476 for the phone 0120 4293412.
I have raised the request for shifting of my Airtel Internet Broadband connection on 17-Dec-11. I got the reply from Customer Care Executive that it will be done by 24-Dec-11. I have not yet got my Internet connection till today, 28-Dec-11.
Details of my follow up with Airtel:
Sir, no one better than you people understand the need of Internet in today’s time. I have been deprived of the services for which I have been charged. Is this the way you deal with your other customers as well? And if the answer is NO, then why I have been troubled for so long?
- In the week from 17th to 24th and also after that I have tried umpteen no. of times the Customer Care No.s 0120 4444121 and 0120 4444198. As soon as the IVR says “Now we are connection you to our Customer Care Representative”, the call gets ended and it shows “Error Connection” or gets disconnected simply
- On 24-Dec-11 I went to the Airtel office at Aditya Mall, Indirapuram (Ghaziabad) and interacted with Customer Care Manager Mr. Prium and got the assurance that I will get the connection by 24-Dec-11 or maximum by 25-Dec-11. Nothing happened
- On 24-Dec-11, I got a call from the follow-up team of Airtel, somebody with the name Prem, that there are some Technical Issues and I’ll get connection by 27-Dec-11, still nothing happened
- In the mean time, I got the call from Airtel representative on 20-Dec-11, that somebody from Airtel will be coming to my residence on 20-Dec-11 by evening for the connection but no body turned up. I got this similar call on 26-Dec-11 as well but no one turned up. My Question is, if there are some technical issues with the connection as told to me by Mr. Prem on 24-Dec-11 then why did I get the call on 20-Dec-11 that someone will come to my residence for connection. Are airtel teams do not function in sync?? Also, why I get these assurances when nobody turns up
- On 26-Dec-11 I again tried your Customer Care No. and I was lucky this time to talk to the Customer Care Executive who said that this issue is already escalated and maximum by 27-Dec-11, I’ll get the connection done. He also provided me with some interaction ID 61521268 stating that I’ll not be charged for the days I have not been provided the services from Airtel. Sir, please charge the required amount but give me the connection for which I have the right to.
Today time is money and I am wasting my time in following up with Airtel either on trying my luck at your customer care numbers or visiting your offices or writing e-mails. Hence I now expect my Internet connection and more compensation then just calculation of my monthly bill on Pro-rata basis.
Hope to get the Internet Connection done instead of assurances.
