    Default Reliance Netconnect fraud on closure request

    Hi,

    Have submitted closure request on 14-Nov-2011 for my Reliance netconnect broadband -93126 24672 as have brought another net connection.

    On Closure, Customer care conveyed that make the final settlement payment by visiting Reliance webworld and do not use your datacard later and will receive closure confirmation in 7 to 14 days and there will be no further charges if datacatd not used.

    After that there was number of time call received from reliance to retain me with exciting offers as well request to transfer. And have always said NO, i don't want to continue. Regarding transfer i said, i don't have anyone who is interested if anyone will let you know.

    After that there was no response from reliance on 24th Nov, have visited Reliance webworld,Powai and enquired status of above request. He said connection is active. I called reliance customer care, support executive was saying that your ticket was closed as someone has done field visit to me and i confirmed to continue the connection with same plan. I conveyed sametime there is no one visited me and i never asked to continue. Rather than re-opening the ticket or any action, the executive was asking me to resubmit closure request. which i didn't submitted and convey him that with wrong reasons you have keep active my account and haven't used your connection till date or in future. Nor i will make any payment.

    And as per billing cycle, 15-ded have recieved the bill in email. On 15-Dec & 16-Dec have tried with customer care as well relaince web world,Powai to get answers and resolution. But rather than providing help always raise tickets which get closed without my intimation or confirmation or giving false assurance to revert back in 24 hrs which they never.

    Finally have escalated this matter to Nodal officer on 19-Dec who didn't responded so on 21-dec have escalated to rcomappelete officer as per guidelines provided in bill.
    Although no response. Then yesterday have received one email regarding closure of a ticket out of 3/4 tickets raised during 15 to 16 dec discussions by executive. On enquiry, customer care executive senior person conveyed me that all tickets with appropriate actions are closed and my bill related ticket closed with the same remark as 14-Nov ticket that i said to continue and i have to make the payment.

    Although anybody can understand why person who brought new internet connection already would like to continue? and even if continue why he will opt for same plan? and if activated why it was not used after 14-Nov. Although all above points agreed by all customer care executives, they are still not provding me in written that either my account is closed and no due pending. Or why they are charging me for the month although have put closure.

    I heard maly people getting legal notice for not making payment and sure many people do settle this things to avoid hassled. This kind of cheating must be punished as lesson learned to them.

    Also note that always new executive take the phone and initially not ready to transfer to earlier executive or seniors and they kept the answers delaying.Also giving execuse of junk email, have always checked junk emails and have added their email Id in Not spam list too. Also customer care advise to visit relaince webworld and reliance webworld says talk to customer care. Have connected them from reliance webworld too but no help.

    Mr RCOM Care,

    There is no response yet as usual from customer care. And kindly update here only why reliance after closure request keep the account activated and sending bill and harassing by not providing satifactory response ontime and delaying the matter unnecesarily. My request is that i need closure document with no dues pending or proper written document or email, saying me that why am i charged...

    And asking the same above question to you why should i continue when i brought new internet connection? and even if continue why will i opt for same plan when i was offered more lucarative plan to retain? and i haven't used it since 14-Nov-2011.

    Although if you think i have to pay the charges then convey reliance that do not delay to send me legal notice, would be happy to fight against fraud rather than any kind of payment or settlement.
