    I purchased a Reliance Net Connect connection bearing Subscriber Number-09390883367 and Relationship Number-500001530429 during December 2010 at Reliance Service Centre, Central Plaza, Near Naaz centre, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh by paying an amount of Rs. 2300.00 towards cost of modem. They did not issue the bill and informed that as I have paid the amount through credit card they will issue the bill after realization of credit card amount. They also informed me that this broadband service works throughout India including villages with a speed of more than 3 mbps.

    As such I started using this wireless internet broadband service at Guntur and paid all bills on time for 3 months. Later my family shifted to Hyderabad and stayed in new Kukatpally area Malaysian township near to high-tech city. I was very much disgruntled when I found that this service is not working in that area. Even if at all it work once in a while the speed was too slow to use it. When I lodged a complaint by calling to customer care of this company, they never use to respond properly, used to give discourteous replies. Many a times they used to cut off the phone abruptly even without properly listening my complaint. Failing to get proper net work service and unable to receive suitable response from them to my numerous phone calls, I was forced to subscribe local network to meet my daily internet needs. But to my surprise, even though I did not use their service they issued the bill for the same. Then I personally visited their office in Mehdipatnam to discuss this issue. One executive in that office checked the modem issued to me at Guntur in his computer , Even in his computer also the speed was very slow. Then I told that executive to terminate this service forth with as they failed to provide high speed BB service as promised even in Hightech city area of Hyderabad which amounts to cheating the customers with fall service promises and looting money from innocent customers. I also asked him to take back the modem and return my Rs. 2300/- paid towards its cost. But this executive told me that he will terminate the service but I have to approach the people in Guntur from where I purchased this modem to get back the cost of modem. On some urgent assignment I went abroad instructing my son to approach reliance sales executive who sold this modem to me at Guntur. When my son approached the executive at Guntur, she refused to return back the cost. Instead of returning the cost of the modem they use to send bills every month even though we did not use their service. When my son stopped paying bills they started harassing him and my family by ringing at odd times. Different people used to ring at different times and they never use to pay attention to what we are saying.

    Though I informed them to terminate the service and return the cost of modem (Rs. 2300/-) to its contrary they are falsely demanding me to pay Rs. 1678/- as the same is due from me. For this purpose different people of this cheating company keep on making phone calls frequently using using very filthy language and harassing my family. They keep on telling and pressing to pay the amount and never pay heed to what my people are telling. They have gone to the extent of threatening us with dire consequences if the said amount is not paid immediately. Six months back one day a group of this Reliance company People visited my house and demanded for the payment of Rs 1678/- . Then I asked them to provide me month wise usage details and total amount paid by me including the cost of modem so that I can approach the consumer court to settle this issue. They promised that they will provide these details immediately but so far even after six months they did not provide this information. Again after six months now they started harassing us over phone threatening with legal and other consequences if I won’t pay the Rs. 1678/- as demanded by them.

    Now a days their harassment has crossed the dignified limits. Today I received a phone call, claiming that he is a reliance's advocate from Delhi High Court and asking me to come to Delhi High court immediately to pay their so called falsely pending Rs. 1678/-. They practically spoke as a recovery agent and warned me to pay the amount without asking any question. In this manner the Reliance Net Connect people are using illegal ways by harassing to pay the falsely charged bills. I have gone through several such complaints while reviewing the harassment being faced by several innocent customers by this money looting company by engaging several rude and discourteous executives.

    Therefore I want to place a consumer complaint on Reliance Net Connect broandband service for such illegal and harassing acts with innocent customers.. Their mode of harassment, inefficiency in providing better service to consumers inspite of charging heavily frustrate many consumers as seen from the review of complaints from upteen customers who have become the victims of this mafia type service provider. Under situation of current anti graft agitations gaining momentum, it is very much essential to arrest the ill activities of the firms like Reliance net connect to safeguard the interest of several innocent customers.

    I had recharged my reliance netconnect (no-9374583622) in June 2011 for an amount of Rs. 3000. The amount was debited from my bank account but no recharge for the net account was accorded. I came to know about it in September and started following up with them for the amount/ recharge. They dragged the request for almost 3 months just to give unreasonable excuses at the end like "your transaction is very old, so we can't find details on the same", " you are not eligible for the scheme, hence you did not get the recharge value", "we did not receive your money", etc.

    I made the recharge via online banking and my bank account has been debited by the amount. So there is no possibility of their not receiving the amount. The transaction has become old, because their executives have been dragging the request for 3 months. Moreover, if I am not eligible for a scheme, which although I am as per details put up on their website, then my bank account should not be debited for the same.

    I want to file a consumer complaint against the company for the said transaction. If they can give me a final word of "we can't help you", then I think consumer courts can!

    my internet network is too slow, i get browsing and downloading problems because its too slow...

    Default reliance-cals frm tis hazari court advocate

    Tis hazari court senior advocate Mr. Vinay Mishra threatening me on behalf of reliance

    I got a call from Mr Vinay Mishra who introduced himself as a senior advocate in tis hazari court , delhi on 24.12.2011( mobile no. 08739896488) and threatened me for not paying some reliance netconnect pending bills for which I have got no communication from reliance for the past one and half years. He said that I should go to the nearest reliance outlet and pay the bills within an hour because after that my file will be submitted to the magistrate and then I will have to pay Rs 40,000/- as fine. I asked him for his bar council registration no. so that I can verify if he is a genuine caller in response to which he got really angry and told me that now I will get into a big trouble and he will see me in the court!! And then he cut the call .

    Let me give you a brief history of this-
    In 2008 I had taken a reliance wimax connection with a rental of Rs800/- per month plus the security deposit . It worked fine for two months and after that it just stopped working. I called up customer care several times but their technical team was not able to fix the problem. I waited for a month for someone to visit my place to fix the issue but that didn’t happen ,so I asked them to cut the connection. Since I was relocating to another place after that I asked them to collect their equipments which they had not collected till I shifted. After couple of months I got a call from someone from reliance and he said he wanted to collect the equipments. I gave him the address of the flat and asked him to collect it from my landlord. After six months I got a call from a lady who said I have payment due for around 2500/- (which amounts to 3 months of the rental). I refused to pay the amount as the connection had not worked even once in those three months. My usage statement will verify that.

    Then in the middle of 2010 I got another call asking me to pay the bills immediately or reliance will take a legal action against me. I refused to pay the bill yet again.

    Now it is end of 2011 and more than three years after taking that unfortunate connection I am getting a call from this advocate!

    I want to ask HOW can reliance threaten people like this without sending any communication to my email which is there with them. If there is a court case I am ready to fight it out provided I am convinced about the details which Mr. advocate refused to provide me.

    I want to take a legal action against reliance and the person who called me for harassing me like this. I am 5 months pregnant and this has brought me great mental stress. Imagine some caller giving a notice of one hour to search for a reliance world outlet and go there and pay the bills in such a condition when I am not even in a position to travel on my own!!

    Thumbs down to disconnect my connection

    Your service is not good to me so kindly disconnect my netconnection immedietly, already i complained to ur costomercare twice.and dont send any bills to my address because one month before i told to ur office to disconnect my connection.

    It is advisable to depute somebody to pay the money immediately. They have rapport with the Court and get arrest warrants issued very easily.

    Hi,
    I got my data card recharged of rs 1000. it should work on high speed but it is working on very normal speed.I called up customer care many time and has been following up from last 3 days but no positive response. I am in deep trouble as i am working from home and injured as well.I have a lot of work on net and I am not able to do on that speed.I am not able to move to cyber cafe too as I am injured. the customer care guys are just asking me more time again and again but no positive thing for me.My problem is still as it was.i am really feeling pissed of. please tell me what to do???

    my net is started on 27-9-2011 and it is free for 3 months so the bill will come on 27-1-2012 but the bill came on 9-1-2012 i want to use it till 27-1-2012 and then we pay a bill and the speed of net is very slow , so i was thinking to buy another company net

    I purchased a Reliance Net Connect connection bearing Subscriber Number-9380865128 and Relationship Number-500002181710, when there representative came home to establish the connection. I am from madurai. For a week i used the connection. Since the reliance net connect was not working properly. I stopped using it. After Some days i received a notice That i have to pay some amount. I went to the Nearby Reliance Office in Narayanapuram. I cleared the bill on 2/09/2011 Rs1900. They also asked me to write the letter why was terminating the connection. They told me that i would be receiving a call within a week , to them i have to mention the reason, otherwise they could frequently charge on it. I also a received a call from reliance, i also mentioned the reason. I thought now the stress and headache was over. The receipt number is S200509983. Serviced by (User ID) TNJO904528010250486437 and serviced by (NAGAVALLI), I wrote the letter about it to her.


    After a month, i again received the bill indicating that i should pay some amount. I rushed to the Reliance office in Narayanapuram Madurai. Nagavalli told me that she will clear the account and inform me.


    But in the next 15 days next letter came, i again rushed to the office. She again told me that she requested the head office to cancel the account soon


    But every time notice use to come, but this issue was not finalised. On 20/12/2012 I received the the letter from J. Alaguram jothi BABL advocate madras high court(madurai Bench) madurai 20.
    That i should pay 1064.82.. How can i pay such a sum of money, when the fault is on the reliance net connect. How can i pay. The response from their side is very bad. Can i file a case against them. They continously sending me notice regularly. I was in continuous mental stress. Tallking to their customer service agent is also waste. They practically spoke as a recovery agent and warned me to pay the amount without asking any question. In this manner the Reliance Net Connect people are using illegal ways by harassing to pay the falsely charged bills..

    The connection has been taken in my dad's name, Mr.Dileep Kumar.And i was using the net connection. i was using Rs.499 plan and they told that that will be more comfortable and they did not tell anything detailed about the usage.The very first month i got the bill of the same amount and second month i received a bill of around Rs.2400 and i complained the same to the support center and they told that per min they charged Rs.50 for the usage for Rs.499 plan i shouted them saying when we took the connection they did not said this and they gave me a discount of 1000 rs.and i payed the same as i was unaware of the usage.Then i change the plan and i took Rs.849 for 1GB daytime and 10GB 10pm -6am of usage then for few months it was fine.In the middle the connection was too slow and complained about the same they told may be some network issues.

    On the middle of April i was about to shift to Mumbai at that time i called the Palarivattom branch office and told them i want to disconnect the connection as i am shifting to Mumbai they told me not to disconnect it will work fine from there.So i was using the same connection but after coming here the connection was dead slow and i have to wait for a long time to open single website.i again called them up and complained but of no use.i keep on paying the bill .On August 9th 2011 i received a mail like the connection usage has been over exceeded and it reach up to Rs.1515.83 and they terminated my account the same day,I called upon customer care and told them to disconnect my connection. and asked for the clarification,they told me they disconnected my connection hold for while for clarification but no one responded and make me to hold for long.After that they send me the reminder of the same on 1 September 2011 for that i replied i paid the bill last week itself .I made a call to the Paklarivattom branch the same day but no response.Also the people from palarivattom branch keep on calling to my father's mobile forcing him to pay the bill he told that after clarification he is ready to pay.
    On 10 November 2011 i again received a mail stating my bill RS.3276.92 for the due date 25-oct-11 has been overdue.i called up again and the response was poor.I sent them a replying mail on November 15 about the bad response and the bill related issues,November 17 i received a mail stating one of the executive will respond shortly but nothing happened.The palarivattom branch people called up my father continuously and forced him to pay the bill otherwise they will proceed with legal actions.He told them we already complained to the customer care and waiting for the response.

    After that for few days no respond from their side.On December 20 i received a mail stating the bill for the current month has been processed the bill was Rs.3277 i called customer care and informed that i disconnected my connection.I am not using net from August 2011 onwards.They told they will check and revert me back soon and keep me on holding after that no response. 18January 2012 my father received a legal notice from K.M Jammaludeen & Associates(Advocate),High Court of Kerala.2nd Floor,Zabil Buildings,R.Madhavan Nair Road,Ravipuram,Kochi-682016 forReliance Communications Ltd,A&P Arcade,S.A Road,Kadavanthra,Kochi-6820816 ,asking for Rs.4,026.92 including legal charges we have to pay with in & days after receiving the notice.I don't know what kind of justice these people are doing with the public.i called and told them if they have any issue they can respond to me i gave my number also.The branch people are continuously calling my father giving mental stress to him forcing him to pay the bill otherwise they will again charge 18% of interest.Why they are not ready to accept their fault.Please do the needful and take an action against the same.Please do justice towards us.
