    Thumbs down Reliance Broadband Netconnect+ issues

    Hello,

    My Reliance Netconnect+ number is 9322956673. For the past 4 weeks, I have been facing network issues. My internet speeds according to "speedtest.in" have been between 17-50 kbps only! The first time I complained on myservices site live chat, the Reliance employee flatly refused to lodge the complaint. The second time I tried, I was allowed to change my bill plan (03/11/2011 10:27:43 AM Request # 165012942), but again, my complaint was not lodged.

    Finally, on 08/11/11, Ms. Rani on 180030005555 took my complaint (165159928 Ref # 251782185 12:57pm). She agreed there are network issues in my area which had still not been solved, and assured me that once the technicians solved the problem, I would not be charged for the entire time frame. On 14/11/11, my bill was generated without any waiver. On 15/11/11, I spoke to Mr. Shailendra (Ref # 2528075144 12:57pm), who told me it takes 2-3 business days after the bill is generated to credit waiver. He told me not to worry, and that since the network issues had still not been sorted out, I would be given waiver for the affected period. On 18/11/11, the Reliance executive on myservices live chat told me I would be given only Rs. 200 as waiver.

    I have been facing network issues for a month now. My speeds are usually less than dial-up speeds of the last decade, and many times, I cannot even connect to the Reliance host server. This is Reliance's problem, not mine. Please look into the matter, waive off my rental for the past 4 weeks, and solve your network problems asap.

    I just received a call from 30388366. I was made to repeat my entire problem, with special stress on my connection speed of 15-50 kbps. After putting me on hold, the Reliance executive simply said that most of the Reliance customers in Mumbai were facing this problem, hence I will not be given any waiver or anything. In fact, I will face more connection and speed issues in the future!

    So what am I paying rental for? What about the promises of speeds of at least 2mbps?

    Default Reliance Netconnect+ speed issues

    I have been using reliance netconnect+ since past 2-3 yrs. Since, last year i have been facing issues related to speed.
    I live in indirapuram area in ghaziabad. I reported this few times to the reliance customer care. They logged the complaint and everytime they say that this is a known issue of network congestion in this area and will be solved next month. I have been hearing this statement for over an year now. I pay the bill on time everytime but not getting proper services.

    To give you an idea about speed i am getting - sometimes it takes more than two minutes just to open google home page. My phone, with GPRS only, gives me better speed than reliance netconncet+.

    Problem has not been resolved for more than one yesr and i have paid approx 900Rs/month as bill. All that money just gone waste. Now, i am seriously thinking of discontinuning the service.
