I own a broadband connection from Airtel in Bangalore. The number is 080 42230987. Due to their shady FUP policy they decreased my download limit. Subsequently i placed a request for increasing my download limit on 29th of October. Now after 19 days i find that my tariff has been migrated to the higer amount but my download limit has not been changed. The customer care exec hung up on me thrice. The third time when i asked the exec to connect me to cancellation dept he lied that the dept works on 9 to 9. On some srguing he said he apologises for providing wrong information and he can connect me to cancellation dept. When i asked him to connect me to his supervisor, now the supervisor worked 9 to 9, after all this he hung up on me.
My question is how can they just increase the tariff but not migrate the plan, seondly why are the customer care guys lying deliberately. I am wondering if there is any legal action i can take against them.
