    Default Reliance BroadBand Complaint



    Dear,

    Iam using reliance fixed line broadband from Trivandrum, till last week i was satisfied, But since last 6 days my internet is not working properly, MY USer ID is 279446077355. I had complained 3 times and all the time they had fooled me. Please help me since iam using this net only and completely rely on this connection.

    Default Reliance Broadband

    We had taken the Reliance Broadband connection for our office (user ID: 397667419321) in 2008 as an option to MTNL (which we use regularly) incase of non-availability of connection at times. However we continued to use MTNL and Reliance was only kept as a standby. We got our first bill for around Rs.780/- which we paid without checking the usage. However, the next bill came as a shock ... it was for Rs. 14,705/-. On checking we found that the usage was for several hours every night, well after office hours when no one is in the office - we do not have any one staying at the office after 6:30 p.m! We lodged several complaints, but there was no response. We then got a call from Reliance demanding the amount be paid. On talking to the person who had called we realised our mistake - which was not to have changed the password after installation. This was also confirmed when Reliance checked and found that the logging was from elsewhere. However, the demands for payments never stopped. And everytime we were speaking to a new person!
    Finally we got to discuss the matter with one of the executives who said if we paid Rs.1000/- and surrendered the connection, no other amount would be charged, which we did. But to our surprise, we got a call from an 'advocate' who actually threatened us and said "he'll show us what he could do if we didn't pay". We had replied to his letter through our advocate and the matter was closed, up until Oct 29, 2011, 3 years later, when we again got a call from an advocate, this time from Mumbai who wouldn't listen to anything and gave his decision of sending summons to the high court in Mumbai.
    This whole thing has caused us a lot of harassment ... please advise !

    i have taken broad band connection last month from the first day till date every after one minute it gets disconnect. i have complained so many time but nothing has done till now. is this a bloody joking with me or what check out how much time i have complained for his i think your every employees are making fool to us but this is my last complain. and now i am going to consumer court so take it very seriously..

    Thumbs down Using Reliance resulted in high blood pressure

    Hello Everyone ( except anyone from reliance BB division as I am sure they don't have time for their customers ),

    I started using reliance BB since May,2011 ( why ? why ? why ? ) and then started my nightmare. My blood pressure prior to that was 130/80 and now its 160/85, thanks to BB customer care as I always end of shouting and screaming.

    Let me start explaining my story...
    One fine day ..sorry one bad day one of the sales rep from reliance approached me for their service as I shifted to hyderabad from kolkata 2 days prior to that. I needed broadband for my work, as I have to do office work from home sometimes.
    My first question was do you people serve wireless..." Yes sir we do.. we do provide wireless internet service ( mis leading statement ) "
    I asked see I have 2 laptops at my place, one used my me and the other one by my elder brother..will both work.. ? " yes certainly the connection will be same you can use any of the laptop "

    Fine cause I had faith in RELIANCE and the name Ambani's without much fuss I took the service. And started the dark era in my life..

    I got myself a wireless router ( a branded one, checked properly at 3 different locations ...tested OK ) to get the connection wireless as reliance provided me with a modem that too single Ethernet port , lord knows how can I use two computer at a time with a modem having one Ethernet port..these sales guys needs technical training.

    Here comes the next phase...the wireless does not work. Its not because the router is at fault. Its because reliance does not support wireless service. Means ? this was my question...and came a blunt answer from the other end of the phone.." SEE SIR IF YOU ARE USING 2 COMPUTERS YOU HAVE TO TAKE 2 INTERNET CONNECTIONS.." [ used caps to denote the pitch and voice of the support guy ].

    I was set aback...and asked see what I mean is i have a connection but have 2 laptops at my home, I wanna use both of them simultaneously..I don't mind the speed is shared between the two..but I need to use both of them simultaneously....

    And comes a whip on my face " MR. RAUNAK YOU ARE WASTING MY TIME, I TOLD IT IS NOT POSSIBLE WE DOES NOT SUPPORT IT...IF YOU WANT TO USE BOTH THE LAPTOPS YOU HAVE TO TAKE ONE MORE CONNECTION...

    and this illogical argument continued for 4-5 mins then a sound came " tee....tee....tee...tee..." , they hung up on me.

    Thanks to my friend who works for an ISP company , he helped me to fix the wireless issue. But reliance is reliance , it will not let you be in peace...now started DNS server error.

    With my knowledge I tried explaining the tech support guys /girls....see I can use my chat , am on chat and it working..just no web pages are opening up. I have checked the DNS setting from my end and did everything..there has to be a problem with your network cloud or switch...get it checked....

    Useless ..explaining them..they are nothing but a bunch of useless fellows.
    Being asked for a floor supervisor, got one scripted answer ...we have only one of them available and he is busy......I asked his manager....and got to hear..sorry no one else is available..be on hold or call back later. I asked can you ask him to call me back once he is done...YES I WILL...was the promise, which is never fulfilled.

    A company like reliance running a technical support team without any manager or supervisor on floor (result of being outsourced to DSA).

    Along with all these problem..they disconnected my connection twice in spite of the bill being paid on time....
    " OH sorry for the inconvenience " was the answer....shameless people.
    Wish my torment would have stopped here but no..even Satan would leave its victim but Reliance does not .

    Twice to thrice every week the connections stops working in middle of my work leaving me helpless. And I pay a nearby cyber cafe. When the connection comes back I am always asked to contact customer support to get the password reseated as my last session was not properly terminated and once reseated it takes 6 hrs to work..upon which their support says...if it takes , it takes why to make fuss about it...

    This is what is customer service...given a chance will mark them in negative for service and customer service and handling skills...

    So now I am stuck with one laptop ( though I have 2 ), poor service, un-displayed webpages half of the time,slow speed as icing on cake,sudden death of internet connection, multiple instance for password reset....etc etc etc and the list will never end as it is reliance.


    These customer service people are hopeless, worthless,irresponsible,liar, rude, irritating bunch of morons...

    I have decided to throw my modem out of the window as I am getting an alternate connection for myself

    Guys please do not take reliance internet connection if you are from Hyderabad , no , never..its a nightmare...its enough to cause you a heart attack, raised BP and even a brain stroke.

    Can somebody please advice me how to take this matter to consumer forum...as I want to take this company to court.

    Angry Customer facing problem due to RELIANCE DEFAULT!

    I have a landline and wired broadband line from Reliance.


    Since the past few months I'm facing a peculiar problem. The internet and
    the phone line goes dead for 2-3 days altogether. After complaints to the
    call center and IVR it resumes for sometime and again the phone line and
    broadband dies.
    I complained to the nodal officer Mr. Tilak Chatterjee on the no.
    provided by the call center and also on the website. There too some
    customer (un)service representatives took the details and said the matter
    would be resolved permanently! IT DIDN'T!

    From October 2011 last week to November 2011 first week
    my phone and broadband was dead for a net period of 9-10 days.


    I have made all the payments on time.


    Knowing the apathetic behaviour of Reliance towards
    it's consumers, I decided to take the matters in my own hand!


    I FOUND OUT THAT RELIANCE HAS INSTALLED A MACHINE (I THINK THE 'MUX')
    AND THE SWITCH WHICH DISTRIBUTES INTERNET TO THE ENTIRE AREA IN A
    BUILDING CALLED "AL-QUBA" IN MILLAT NAGAR, ANDHERI - wEST, MUMBAI - 400053.


    THE SOCIETY MEMBERS HAVE SWITCH THE MACHINE OFF BECAUSE RELIANCE HAS NOT
    PAID THEM THE RENT. RELIANCE IS SUPPOSED TO PAY RENT TO THIS SOCIETY FOR
    USING THEIR PREMISES! RELIANCE HASN'T PAID SINCE THE PAST 4 MONTHS.


    WHY THE F*** SHOULD I SUFFER BECAUSE OF THE COMPANY WHICH IS NOT WILLING
    TO PAY FOR USING CERTAIN SERVICES!


    I FOUND OUT THAT A CERTAIN MR. SURAJ SHETTY IN RELIANCE IS THE HEAD OF THE LOCAL
    NETWORK DEPARTMENT WITH HIS OFFICE AT J.B.NAGAR ANDHERI. HIS JOB IS TO
    FOLLOWUP FOR PAYMENTS! I THINK RELIANCE TOP MANAGEMENT HAS TOLD HIM
    NOT TO PAY AND LET THE CUSTOMERS GO-TO-HELL!!!


    I THINK TILAK CHATTERJEE'S OFFICE IS SLEEPING. IF A CUSTOMER CAN FIND THIS
    OUT IN A MATTER OF 1 DAY, WHY THE F*** HIS OFFICE CAN'T?


    IF RELIANCE IS LISTENING (well you always listen but DON'T ACT!) SORT
    THIS MESS! WAKE UP FROM YOUR SLUMBER.
    THIS CHEAP NON-PAYMENT F*** UP IS NOT

    Dear RCom Care,

    I got a call from RCom saying matter is resolved. But just 24 hours later the same problem persists. My internet is disconnected since 19th November due to the non-payment of UN-Reliance to the same society mentioned below. The society has shut off the switch and the entire area's phones and internet is disconnected.

    sincere suggestion.

    Stop your business! no you wont. You like to f*** around with your customer's happiness!
    I'm switching to MTNL.
    I WILL MAKE IT MY MISSION TO TELL EVERYONE NOT TO GO FOR RELIANCE AND SAVE HASSLE AND MENTAL AGONY.

    Default Reliance the big cheaters

    Hello,


    I am Sai from Bangalore. I have applied for new Reliance broadband connection (Application no. 17800029421066, Plan 549). On 13th November, 2011. Sales person (Mr.Suchith Kumar 8553518807) came to my place to discuss about the plans and made all false commitments that Reliance will provide a WiFi modem and a landline phone along with the internet connection and collected amount of Rs.500 from me along with the required documents and application form. After 2 days the technician came to my house and said that reliance will not provide any WiFi modem and Landline phone. Then I called the salesperson who collected money from me asked about it. But he did not responded correctly, he said that he is not aware of the plans and what reliance actually provides and disconnected the call. I asked the technician to send that stupid executive to me. Next day concerned branch manager (Mr.Manjunath 9538800331) called me and said that the sales person is not aware of the plans and suggested me to buy a WiFi Router saying that he will send the technician and provide the internet connection on that day itself. I compromised and and accepted. From that day onwards there is not response from their side. I called them nearly 30 to 40 times in 5 days. No response. On 18th november I called customer care and gave the complaint about them. They took the information about the sales person and the manager and said 'Don't worry u will definitely get the connection tomorrow(19th, saturday). I didn't get the connection till today. I again called the customer care today and asked about my complaint. This time they are asking me to go to the reliance office and enquire about it. How funny....


    Many of my friends warned me not to go for reliance broadband. But I had no chance, recently came to this place and was in a hurry to get the internet connection as I needed it urgently and the salesperson said they will provide the connection within 1 day. I have checked the reviews about reliance broadband in the internet and came to know how they cheated the people and many of my friends explained about their worst experiences with reliance. What I am supposed to do now? I am planning to approach consumer court for taking money from me and wasting my precious time..

    Reliance the big cheaters
    Hello,


    I am Sai from Bangalore. I have applied for new Reliance broadband connection (Application no. 17800029421066, Plan 549). On 13th November, 2011. Sales person (Mr.Suchith Kumar 8553518807) came to my place to discuss about the plans and made all false commitments that Reliance will provide a WiFi modem and a landline phone along with the internet connection and collected amount of Rs.500 from me along with the required documents and application form. After 2 days the technician came to my house and said that reliance will not provide any WiFi modem and Landline phone. Then I called the salesperson who collected money from me asked about it. But he did not responded correctly, he said that he is not aware of the plans and what reliance actually provides and disconnected the call. I asked the technician to send that stupid executive to me. Next day concerned branch manager (Mr.Manjunath 9538800331) called me and said that the sales person is not aware of the plans and suggested me to buy a WiFi Router saying that he will send the technician and provide the internet connection on that day itself. I compromised and and accepted. From that day onwards there is not response from their side. I called them nearly 30 to 40 times in 5 days. No response. On 18th november I called customer care and gave the complaint about them.
