Idea net setter complaint

    Default Idea net setter complaint

    Hi,

    i opted for corporate rs 599 2g unlimited plan....so that i
    can enjoy unlimited

    i recently purchases idea corporate net setter & i got problem from 1
    day...net setter was not functioning....got repaired after couple of
    days....
    After couple of days. Net setter again disconnected....i called the
    execuive he said that will resolve the issue...then he gave me idea
    show room address....when i enquired they came to know 3g was
    activagted in error........but my documentation says 2g...they are
    speachless....customer executives are rude. Idea office staff are
    giving excuses........i am working from home.....at office ..dont have
    the time to visit......idea corp office.......nodal office doesnt pick up the call..........i could see only fraud...now i am asking for refund for idea net setter device ............

    Now i hoping that i can get the refund of 1500....also i will talk to
    admin about the idea fraud.......

    Default Complaint: IDEA'S grilling of customer

    Hello,
    To my misfortune, I bought an idea Net Setter internet connection (3G) on 23’rd September, 20011 with A/C No. 8.10001996.00.00.100000.

    Ever since I am experiencing series of unfortunate events regarding the services and the internet connection.

    The connection is very unstable and got disconnected very frequently. I was promised to have 2-3 mbps upload and download speed under the plan I opted for whereas in practice I got a few hundred Kbps speed. I have repeatedly asked the concerned person who made this connection about the issues. For two days the connection was good then it stopped connecting at all.

    I have never received any bill in my home address or my mail ID. I was promised to have a 10 GB connection but I received a letter from Idea stating that I have a 3.5 GB connection!
    I stopped using the Net Setter and asked Airtel to provide me internet service instead.

    I do request Idea relevant team to close my account immediately and take back this infernal device. I withal, demand a full refund of my money and resolve any unwarranted bill.

    When I asked the contact person (the people who got me this connection) to submit this device he came up to my office with a never before seen bill with a huge amount of which I have not advised before and at the due time. Ironically, I was and am still getting billed for internet usage when literally the device is kept in its original package for last two months till date.

    The same Idea person has come to my office with a henchmen to collect the bill money which along with the aforementioned matter has caused enough discomfort to my dignity and gentility.

    I thus would request you to be kind to resolve this matter at the earliest. I certainly appreciate any assistance of the Indian consumer forum regarding this elaborately fraudulent business venture.

    Idea is a Fraud Company

    It may sound absurd that Idea is a fraud company but it is true. In India it is most unfortunate that companies unusually advertise the things which they are not able to offer. Even, if are able to offer but do not provide them properly. JUST BECAUSE THERE ARE NO STANDARDS IN INDIA AND ALSO JUDICIARY IS SO MUCH CORRUPT THAT YOU CAN NEVER EXPECT A FAIR JUSTICE. That is why I have decided to open a website against Idea, I have registered a domain name and I have invested my hard earned money(in building a website) to let the company understand when a customer goes crazy how much can it impact their market. Even I have planned to publish my story in the newspaper also.

    Unfortunately on 15-10-11 I bought an Idea 3G Netsetter device from hotspot Munirka. They were offering 2GB free with a new connection. I started using the device from the same day i.e., 15-10-11, after three days, i.e. 18-10-11. I realized that they have deducted 1.5 GB from my account. I am a service personnel and I used data card for not more than 2-3 hours a day. Moreover, I visit only gmail and facebook. When I contacted their inapt customer care, they could not reply me the reasons. A GPRS officer sitting around there, in a very foolish manner told me that It is due to 3g connection. 3G is actually very data sucking kind of thing. Well, after not getting satisfied by their customer care, I proceeded to their Idea Care centre in Greater Kailash Part II, M Block Market. When I showed the representative my problem with the device, he replied me that we can't do anything in it. Well, all the data burned out before 20-10-11. I was not only feeling unfortunate but was also feeling that I have been a victim of some Fraud. But I had no other way so I again contacted customer care, they suggested me to recharge my account with a 2g connection as my requirement of speed are not so high and I am an average daily user. I recharged my account with 399 (unlimited plan) for one month. But what could be more unfortunate, the device started failing to catch a network. so I again consulted with customer care, they told me some settings and I did them. Now, my device is giving me 4 kb/s download speed. Can you imagine, how much painful is it,when you try to open a simple Gmail and your browser says that page cannot be displayed due to internet speed.

    Well, can anybody tell me that If it is not a fraud what should it be called. We are dealing with a company i.e. IDEA, if it would have been a person, what would have we done. In my case, I would have sued him. These companies like Idea, can very well spend our money(after all they are limited company and the money they have, belongs to their shareholders) on costly advertisement but they cannot improve their service. Yes, THEY KNOWINGLY DON'T DO THAT BECAUSE THEY KNOW HOW JUDICIARY IN INDIA WORKS.

    Angry Not getting proper response from Customer Care

    Dear Sir,

    I got Idea NetSetter connection before 2 months with Rs 1800.

    My NetSetter No. is : 8140271968

    I got 1st month free usage of 1 GB for 3g.

    I got commitment from your executive Mr. Nirav that i can use proper service of 2g after 1 month , and if not , he will help us.

    After that i recharged with Rs. 600 of 2g for 2 months on 19 October , 2011.

    I am not able to connect my on 2g network till today from the date of recharge.

    I got full network but not able to connect.

    I called cusomer care & registered complain but got solution that problem is solved & if not , visit nearest idea Office.

    I visited Shivam Communication , Maninagar , Ahmedabad & contacted Mr. Nirav , who handles NetSetter department.

    But there is no proper solution given by him & the problem is still not solved.

    If you are not able to provide service , then why you give commitment at the time of purchase.

    For just to make sale , your executive just make all fake commitment.

    Even when i visit office , he is not behaving with good response even.

    This is not the proper way to behave with customers. After just sale , all behaviour and service change of your executives.

    I want some action against that person & want to solve my problem , Otherwise want my NetSetter money back.

    Unhappy Idea Netsetter Error

    Dear Sir,

    I am using idea netsetter from long time am I am very Happy with it. But from last 3-4 days i am facing problem in my device,
    When i connect my device to my Laptop than it shows a message i.e. Please Contact Idea Customer Care, My last recharge was 850 but i am unable to use and its validity is elapsing day by day. Please take it seriously and provide solution as soon as possible.My idea netsetter number is 9505156904.

    Exclamation Device stolen

    Hi,

    I run a service centre at king kothi, hyderabad. last month i purchased idea netsetter. Just 2 days back i couldnt find it at my table. I think some of the customer who came to my shop might have stolen it, i request you to block the service for my device.

    Please let me know the procedure to re-apply for the device, and price for it.

    Exclamation complaint against idea net setter

    i sartaj singh requesting you to provide new idea net setter in place of the wrong one , which i deposited to idea centre 0n 30.07.2011
    but after 4 month later , i did not any positive response from idea centre, some time says ,that i don't know,
    some time says, come after one week.
    so please take this matter seriously , which will make positive thoughts to your customers, and take action against such person, which
    is defaming the company name..

    Hello
    recently i bought e1732 for abt 25 days itworked well.since 4 daysitis
    notworking at all . Idea customer care in katni mp has no clue abtit

    in statstics it shows that 31 mb still remaining with 4 days validity.

    Suppose if i have used allmy balancehow can i know pl tellme. Customer

    care pll nver pick phone at all .in katni they are so rude even i tried tocall them
    abt 30 times a day they never pick phone wen i callthem from other phone they pick phone
    they have nothing todo. Even they dont know how toinstallit on computers.
