    Thumbs down Bharati Airtel - The Fraud of Frauds..

    I have been using airtel for almost 5 years till I was so frustrated with Airtel Service that I decided to stop it. Then they came behind me calling from different levels and gave me the Rs499/- + 99/- offer. This includes 1GB download in the mornings(8 am to 9pm) + night(9 pm to 8am unlimited download) + Rs 200/- worth of free calls at 2MBps. For few months it was all going fine till they started charging me exorbitantly high bills. Now my internet bill is Rs 13,656/- for 3 months(the last month there was no usage and i requested for cancellation of connection). I refused to pay 13,656/- but was ready to pay for what I used. I kept calling the customer care and no one would respond. I keep getting threatening mails that if i dont make the payment they will deal with it legally and when i try to call in the numbers given in the mail no one picks up. 2 Weeks back one lady called up for settlement and asked me to pay something as settlement. Finally I agreed I will pay Rs.2060/- as settlement( I almost didn't use broadband for the last 2 of the 3 months). I took a day leave and payed the amount. They would never send me the settlement letter and their executives still keep calling me asking me to pay the rest of the amount. I will be fighting it out legally. Is there any body out there with similar experiences? Could someone please advice?

    My Name is Naresh Kandra, working with hewlett-packard(hp) as Network engineer in Bangalore,As i was a loyal customer to your network i took airtel broadband internet connection in the month of july final week 2011,The package described by the Technician who installed the software and configured the modem was 649 rupees,2 megabits per second with 3 gigabyte download data,he clealy mentioned the speed would come down to 256 kbps after the 3 gb download but the download would be unlimited, unfortunately after crossing the 3 gb download limit the speed remained the same and my download crossed 15 gb, Now my bill was around 1800 rupees,i was totally frustrated and dint want to fight with you guys though you charged lot of amount maintaining loyalty,I called Airtel tech support in sep 11-2011 and requested them for cancellation,After taking cancellation complaint number i recieved million calls from you guys requesting me to reactivate the account,I was kind to them and explained each and everyone clearly the situtation happened,They have taken the information and said the account is cancelled.But they have sent the september bill again though i cancelled the account,I really dont have words to show my frustration on you guys,I was totally pissed off and went to Airtel customer care office which is near jayadeva hospital,They understood my concern and accepted the fact and supported me and gave your e-mail address,so i am e-mailing you now,I wouldnt mind before recommending people in my office to take airtel connection because airtel is such a wonderful network but service is pathetic,After getting cheated from you guys,I would never suggest my friends and my colleagues in my office to take airtel anymore,I dont mind going to consumer court also,The way you guys cheated me was ridiculous and am feeling ashamed of you people,PLease tell me the figure i need to pay after seeing my records in your computer,I cannot pay you the the amount you told me to pay as it was not reasonable, Please give jobs to people who can give correct informarion and increase the reputation of your company,

    With lots of pain I am feeling so sorry that I have used Airtel services more than three years and I am helpless and finally I refused to get victim any more with Airtel, and I dont understand this is how you treat their loyal customers. So issuue is followed by further paragraph.

    Since 2010 I am using 3 g phone and and once I have activated 3g service and after 3 months I have recieved a call from airtel to inform me that your free package is deactivated and you are on zero rental at that moment only I informed customer executive Please i dont want to go for any 3g servics, and after that every thing was quite simple and smooth going but last month I bought a new 3g mobile, Ibought that mobile on 16 april night and i used to get bill on 19th of every month and on 20 th I just saw my airtel bill ,i was so shocked and full of tension, my bill is Rs 16000, on that i have taken leave and i ried my level best to know the reason why Airtel has shown extracare for me, I asked customer executive when my credit limit is Rs2500 than how come you sent me that kind of bill.I reply they informed me we took you in premium customers list so thats what we didnt stop your services the moment you crossed your credit limit, i was so shocked with such unprofessional statement, i just calmed down and i replied see dear I can pay what ever the credit limit I kept for me than he asked me to meet nodalteam, and nodal people informed me it happens some time, I informed then I used wifi connection never used 3 g services from airtel and If by mistake I have used then the moment i crossed my credit limit you have to disconnect the services, then they said same story package data and premium customer an all.

    I have decided i will not use any more this service, it really making fool of the people, I am working with MNC and i informed my country head HR and they will look after this matter and they removed copulsation every has to use airtel and people who faced this problem inform the same.

    So this is from me if any one is there who has faced the same problem, at the end I will say the same i can pay the ammount of credit limit not more than that even a single penny.

    Default Airtel Fraud

    Bharti Airtel has introduced the following value added services on my mobile 8826583200 without my consent.

    a. Airtel Friendz everyday Rs. 1
    b.Trivia Cricket - everyday Rs 1
    c. MKR_30

    It with some difficulty that I was able to block MKR_30. But despite several attempt at sending sms's (which could not be sent to 121 despite several efforts as it seems receiving sms on this number has been blocked by airtel and no option ia there for sending sms to this number in reply) this service is still continuing on my mobile.

    Please punish Bharti Airtel and recompense me for whatever money they have deducted from my account.

    Default Airtel cheated me, kind of blackmailed me

    On August 30, 2012, Airtel stopped outgoing calls for my number 9810609740, and blackmailed me to deposit the amount of Rs 2300 in order to restore the outgoing calls of number 9810609740.

    Airtel told me that this amount Rs 2300 is related to some other 3 year old number which was closed 3 years back only.

    Can Airtel answer me

    1. How did Airtel closed that 3 years old number without settlement of account.

    2. On what basis Airtel is coming to me after 3 years to deposit the amount of Rs 2300.

    3. Who has given rights to Airtel to stop outgoing calls of other number in connection with non payment of some other number and that too 3 year old closed number.

    3. Anyways, since Airtel clearly blackmailed me that, if I will not make payment of Rs 2300 for other number, my this number 9810609740 will not be activated for outgoing calls. Isnt a big blackmailing case, I dint even knew what was Rs 2300 amount is for??? May be Airtel is just blackmailing me because they know that am old customer and whatever amount they will ask I will pay to it to save my number.

    4. So finally I made cash payment of Rs 2300 on August 31, 2012 at Airtel outlet without even knowing for what I am paying that amount for, and I emailed scanned copy of receipt to Airtel customer care and Nodal office. 9810609740 outgoing calls activated in 25 hours.

    5. On September 03, 2012, 9810609740 was terminated, and reason was given that I dint made payment of Rs 2300. I asked them to clarify and re-check their records. Airtel confirmed me that it was their mistake and restored my services in 5 hours.

    6. On september 05, 2012, again the same thing happened , number was terminated and agin restored after requesting customer care.

    7. On September 07, and 09 same thing repeated again.

    8. Finally on September 10, 2012 I made complaint to Nodal office and had words with Noni Malik, she assured me that in next 72 hours my problem will be resolved and she gave me commitment that number will not be terminated again.

    9. On September 12, 2012, around 2:00 A.M my number was again terminated, I called customer care and requested them to please restore this number as I have to drive from Gurgaon to Delhi alone and I don't have any other number. I requested them that there is problem at Airtel end and not at my end, I have made all payments on August 31, 2012. Customer care rudely replied to me that till verification is going on for next 72 hours, your number will remain terminated and you can do what ever you want to do.

    10. I told them that, am their 5 year old customer and on basis of trust, like when I am saying I have made payment, so on basis of trust they can activate my number and I tried to explain them that at 2:00 A.M I will be driving from Gurgaon to delhi, so am requesting. They just kept the phone down..

    So guys, it was actually a horrible experience for me with Airtel in last 15 days.....!!!! I was really felt mentally tortured like anything, felt embarrassed like anything...!!! and was mentally harassed by complete team of Airtel Organization.
