Myself Maunik Desai using reliance Net Connect Broadband+ (Card No. - 9328129022).
I have subscribed the Reliance Netconnect Plan - Brdbnd3GDy10GNgt200. Means, 3GB usage between 6.a.m. to 10 p.m. (Peak hours) and 10GB usage between 10 p.m. to 6 a.m (Off-peak hours).
I am using broadband+ data card for last 2 months.
In my last bill (From 1st Oct. to 31st Oct.), I’ve got the excessive amount of bill with Rs. 3847.63.
According to my usage sheet most of my usage was between 10p.m. to 6a.m (Off-peak hours).
Even though most of my usage has been considered in Peak Usage time (From 6 a.m. to 10 p.m).
They told me that the usage is being considered from the starting session of connection. Means if I’ve used the internet from 9p.m to 4a.m. then it will be considered in Peak Usage time (From 6 a.m. to 10 p.m).
When I bought this data card they told me that billing will be calculated on data usage time.
Even I’ve confirmed with reliance customer care executive (Mr. Ketan Rane) that bill will be calculated on the bases of usage time not on the basis of starting session time.
So I started using internet assuming that the bill would be calculated on the basis of usage time. But surprisingly, on 1st Nov., I got the bill with very excessive amount of Rs. 3847.63.
I’ve submitted the request to customer care with Service Request ID: 112472965. And they gave me waiver with new amount of Rs. 1998.
But according to my plan, I should be charged as per the regular amount of Rs. 850.
Even though this is a fault of reliance customer care executive and reliance data card supplier, they will not reduce the amount less than Rs. 1998.
I’ve tried to solve this problem by complaining at Reliance Web World Shop. But they did not responded well and after 14 days they told me to ask the nodal officer. When I’ve tried to call at Nodal office of reliance in Ahmadabad (Ph. No. 079-30331424), it is continuously engaged or sometimes no one was picking up phone or sometimes they receive my call than immediately cut the phone.
After such a bad experience I’m now thinking to complain in consumer court. Can you please help me regarding this issue?
