    Default Tikona Broadband Sucks! Do Not Buy

    This is another complaint that I am putting up in the last couple of months. I have been facing connection issues with Tikona broadband every night. I get 'no network access'. If it does get connected by chance, the speed is as low that I cannot surf the web also. This has been happening since the past 3-4 nights. I called the night before but was on hold for almost 20 minutes and then hung up since could not speak to customer care. Yesterday, I spoke to customer care executive and registered a complaint with Mr. Sujay, number mentioned below. He tracked my MAC Address and agreed that the problem was with their modem receiving signal. There was supposed to be an engineer visit today morning. I got no call, and there was no visit. I called Tikona again and they said engineer will come in the evening and replace the modem. I did not get any call again. I called the 3rd time and the Mr. Sanjay from customer care said that engineer cannot come today, and will only come tomorrow.

    I have a lot of important work pending which I already wasted the last few days on. Today again there is no internet connection. I am mentioning here, straight forward, that I WILL NOT PAY MY BILL FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER until I am given a waiver for the days that my net has not been working. These days will be counted from Saturday, 24th September till my net does not start working. It has already been 4 days now.

    I will not suggest anyone to go for Tikona Broadband. Every ISP has problems I have seen, but Tikona has the highest in number.

    Thumbs down Getting Rid of TIKONA, but want to teach them a lesson.

    Subject: DISCONNECT ACCOUNT - PATHETIC SERVICE - CONNECTION DOWN (ACCESS POINT ISSUE) 3 MONTHS

    I'm another victim of Tikona Broadband's fraudulent business... here read the email that I recently sent to Tikona... I'm leaving them for good, but I do want to teach this fraud of a company a lesson.

    Experts on this forum, how should we go about it? FIR for fraud in Police or Consumer Court...?

    THIS IS TO INFORM YOU THAT HOW PATHETIC AND LOW-GRAD YOUR SERVICE IS AND I AM PREPARING TO SEND YOU A CONSUMER COURT NOTICE.

    From past 3 Months I'm facing access point issue and everyday I face Latency Issue and Upload Test Error. Despite constantly complaining to technical support and staying on phone for hours with your low-grade customer support, I have decided to disconnect this TIKONA internet.

    For disconnecting, this account I have called your BILLING DEPARTMENT, TECHNICAL SUPPORT DEPARTMENT, CUSTOMER CARE DEPARTMENT, RETENTION DEPARTMENT... everywhere but your dumb agents keep transferring me to other concerned departments.

    Now, this is my last email to you and I'm informing you to disconnect my account. Also, I'm not going to pay another paisa from my hard earned money to you thieves.

    YOU PEOPLE SHOULDN'T BE IN BUSINESS, AND I'M PERSONALLY GOING TO MAKE SURE THAT IT HAPPENS.

    Default Had to pay more than 3 months bill for services not used.

    hope this reaches to shameless tikona billing department.

    Our location got of out tikona range after their tower went kaput around jan 2013.(as told by their technical team)
    we did not recieve any services but we still get their bill till date.
    we were adviced termination ad we did the same(left with no other choice).
    but they wont act fast and even after the connection was terminated and no one came to collect their device. they continued to sent bill amount.
    and today with no previous warning we receive a call from their attorney that in two hours they were filing a case after which we will be fined an amount of 50000 our jail time.having no choice left we paid their so called outstanding amount which is till amounted to around 4000 rs.

    i am not sure what i am supposed to do now but i'll advice all customers ,never use tikona .
