Hi, As I wrote in my previous mail, my connection is still not restored. But a new malpractice has come to my notice. I applied for airtel connection on 5th of June and the cheque of Rs 999(1st month bill) was encashed on 11th June, 2011. After lots of running around, my connection was activated by Mr. Ganesh(ph : 0-8861829496) under the supervision of Mr. Naveen(ph: 0-9008306907), a service engineer of Airtel on 25th August, 2011(2 and half months later). As broadband + landline was important for my work, I decided to go with Airtel for uninterrupted service, how wrong I was. On 31st August, I received a bill of Rs 451 for 15 days(for period 12th August to 25th August, 2011) while my connection was barely activated on 25th August, 2011. In that bill my landline number was mentioned as 080-41306923 and acc no as 16637387 (Bill no:554819157, DSL A/C no: 16637387, Landline no: 080-41306923) On 10th September, 2011 my connection stopped working altogether. Neither my landline nor my DSL is working till date(10th September, 2011 – till date). I have raised numerous complaints saying my connection is not working and as I had 080-41306923 in my bill I quoted that number as my Airtel number. The customer care said that my connection is de-activated on 10th September , 2011 and hence it needs to be reactivated. I am not sure how my connection got de-activated without any information to me. Anyways my first request SR#3872678 got closed 19th September, 2011 without any resolution. My second request SR#4313838 also got closed yesterday without any resolution. TILL DATE MY CONNECTION IS NOT WORKING. Yesterday, I received a bill (bill no:56579843, DSL A/C no: 7005225442, telephone number: 08042017222) for the period of 25th August, 2011 to 10th September, 2011. I did not even know but my connection and account number has been changed abruptly. Anyways, that bill shows I have an outstanding due of Rs 626.07 and my plan is KK_Turbo 30 GB while I was subscribed to Max 10 GB -Airtel/KT/FL/10(Rs 999).

I am not sure why and how should I continue with Airtel and pay a single paise to Airltel as plan charges. My connetion(DSL + Landline) is still down (10th September, 2011- till date)and there is no resolution regarding anything. I have waited 2.5 months for broadband connection and now waiting nearly a month for restoration of service. In the meantime, Airtel is sending bill after bill with different a/c number and bill plans. What is going on? I am going to report this whole incident to TRAI and also go to consumer court.
