Airtel Broadband Transfer Issue Hi,
I had this Airtel Landlin+Internet broadband connection (Landline No.: 040 401001354) in the Begumpet area of Hyderabad starting Jan-2011.
On Jul 21st 2011 I raised a request for transfer of my connection to Silpa Park, Kondapur - Hyderabad.( request#1117938)
But now as more than 30 days have already passed there is no response from Airtel service team, this is really frustrating I have been continuously calling the call center without any results. I have already called the call center more than 10 times now.
This is really frustrating for me and a big shame for an organization which claims so much for their services.
Is anyone there who can guide me as how should I escalate this to higher up's in Airtel.
The call center agents are so crooks that when I asked them to bring some manager to the call so that I can escalate the same to him, they will put me on hold for more than 30 mins and at the end will say "sorry sir the specific person is busy with some other call".
And today some how I got the number for the nodal officer and after responding to IVR messages I waited in the call for another 30 mins but the nodal officer never picked his phone and the machine kept on saying "please wait the nodal officer is busy with some other call".(Phn No: 040 40000294)
Shame on you guys there is no much difference between you and govt. companies.
Even I think BSNL responds much faster then you people.
You guys have no idea how much I'm sufferin mentally as well as professionally because of no connectivity at my home.
I'm a IT guy and I have to work from home as well, but due to this I'm bound to go to my office everytime to attend the critical requirements.
Not sure if this goes on like for another few days I will be compelled to take on a new connection form some other vendor.

Please correct the landline number its 040-40101354.
The New Address is Flat 303, vasthu Enclave Apt, Shilpa Park, Kondapur, Hyderabad.
Even also after not being able to use the connection from more than last 30 days, I have received the bill for last 30 days period.
Why should I be paying you when I was not even using the service.

Hi Rakesh,
It's been 10 days since your last update, and there is no progress on this issue.
Please can you let me know the status on this complain.
This is really pathetic of you guys, its really frustrating after so many calls and complains there is no action being taken on this issue.
I think I will better go for cancelling this connection and will take it form some other vendor.

My airtel landline no. is 40148464. Airtel had disconnected my broadband & landline connection on January 2011. He wanted me to migrate to a higher data plan from my 512kbps one. I didn't , so he reduced my download speed to an unusable 2-3KB/s and then shut down my connection on January 2011. My connection has been disconnected ever since and Airtel still keeps sending me bills. From January to August they kept on calling me on my mobile twice and thrice daily asking me to pay the bills of the months which they disconnection my connection. They harrased my on my mobile asking me to pay the bills of the months in which they disconnected my connection. On 21st August 2011 , I got a call from Airtel saying that they are ready to re-activate my connection if I select a higher Broadband plan. Airtel also agreed to waive my outstanding which I have never used since they disconnection on January 2011. They sent their employee on 23rd August , I filled out a form , selected a Downloader 20gb plan worth Rs.1099 , 1mbps till first 20gb and 512kpbs post data transfer limit Unlimited connection. Airtel said that their engineer would visit my house and reconnect my re-activate my broadband and landline within 2 working days and I haven't heard from Airtel ever since , 15 days have passed . All I got yesterday was an Airtel Bill despite of Airtel promising me to waive my outstanding bill from January 2011 - the month from which they have disconnected my connection !. Oh and on a side note one of their bill recovery boys had told me that airtel does this to all customers and that Airtel will not re-activate my connection. I am a member of the Mumbai Grahak Panchayat and my Registered no. is F - 7000 .
