    dear sir,

    i bought a hp laptop model dv6-1110. along with which i got a tata photon+
    (price rs 3500) worth rs 1299. i purchased tah tata photon+ from the tata
    store ashok vihar and i got the guarantee from the company that tata
    photon+ will be activated in 24 to 72 hours. i bought the tata photon+ on 30
    july 2009 but till 4th of july my tata photon+ .

    when i called them up for my activation they bahaved in a very harsh manner
    and said that it wont be activated. i made a complaint to customer care
    regarding my tata photon+ activation but they denied and didnot even gave me
    complaint number

    i want to file a complaint tata teleservices ltd. for not activating tata
    photon+ .

    i hope you would help me

    Hello,
    I am using my second Photon+ connection for approximatley for the last one
    month and already paid first bill.

    to my utter surprise I could not log on to my account for last two days.

    only after contacting your customer center I came to know that my service is
    debarred due to exceeding credit limit of Rs 1000.

    I would like to make following points here for your perusal

    My tariff plan consists of Day time usage 150 MB per month and 10 GB during
    night.

    the Un-billed amount of Approx. Rs.1300 for a data usage of 682 MB shows in
    the system includes my free usage of 10 GB in the night.

    it was more shocking when your customer representative was asking me to pay
    an interim payment to restore the serivce.

    Let me put forward some hypothetical question.

    suppose my usage was 5 GB during the night period in the first day of new
    billing cycle then the unbilled amount will show in your system will be
    around Rs 10000 !!.

    then I will be promptly ask by your staff to pay an interim amount of *Rs
    8000/- all for my final bill of a mere Rs 700 or less.*

    Now please restore my service with immediate affect and correct your system
    for not repeating this mistake again.

    I am not accepting your action of debarring my service for no fault of mine
    and requesting you to restoring my service with immediate affect.

    hi sr/mam
    This is Mohd Asrar.i m living in okhla jamia ngr.on july 25 i bought photon+ from
    tata indicom.after 4 to 5 days they activate it.bt before my time period.they call
    me to pay bill.i took 750/mnth plan.in this plan they give me 2gb download (about
    800 kbps surfing speed and about 2.3 mbps downloading speed).now they call me n told
    me that my usage is full.bt i dont do so much downloading my downloading is about
    256 to 500 mbs only.and they give me 256 kbps surfing speed.and hardely 20 to 28
    kbps downloading speed.they told me my bill is 1356rs

    Dear Mr. Asrar,

    First send your complaint to the nodal officer and the nodal officer will have to provide you solution within 10 working days. If he fails to do so you can forward your complaint to the Appellate Authority of the Co. You can find the contact details of Nodal officer and Appellate Authority from the Website of the concerned Co.

    Default photon+ new connection billing plan issue

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I had taken photon+ connection under corporate offer from new tippasandra, Bangalore tata indicom store on 30/08/2009 and same is activated on 3rd septermber[took 5 days to activate]. I had taken this connection as I was told by the store representative that under corporate connection the monthly rental will be 650/- instead of 750/-. That time I had a choice to go for the normal connection with 1month rental free. But I had choosen the first option of going for corporate connection 650/- rental plan and the same is mentioned in my application forms tariff sheet [650 was mentioned next to the 750/-].

    Now after analyzing my bill I realized that I was charged for 750. When I called the customer care center I came to know that, that kind of offer is not available.

    I had taken the connection only on the basis that monthly rental would be 650/-. Now when I ask in the store they say they can’t take the device back as it is activated. Please kindly advice me what should I do, I don’t want the connection if it is 750 and I want my money back. I called up customer care many times but no proper response. Please help me in this...I was feeling like cheated badly.

    Let's educate other would be consumers who should not become prey to this photon+...most cheated product in the market

    Angry About Tata Photon +

    I use to be a customer of Tata Photon + And all i should say is that They are Thieves, I suppose the Authorities should take strict action against them for there mal-practice on there system of billing.

    Its is not recommended to but photon + ...!!!

    I have been using photon+ since 18th dec. and have hardly downloaded more than 1.5GB.
    The monthly rental is around 750 rupees but they send a bill on my e-mail Id of around 1500 rupees. They ranged up a day earlier and told that the bill is around Rs.2600 and I have to pay it.

    Thumbs down Wrong Plan Activation & Daywise Internet Usage Meter Webpage never works

    I had all troubles with the tataphoton+ services since my frst bill..below is my last issue

    I asked for a plan change on 24th Nov '09.
    The plan I asked for is "Surf @ Night - 2 GB Day/10 GB Night ".
    Customer Care representative made a wrong plan activation by putting me in "Rs.950 Time-Based Plan" By splitting the time-based plan into 3600 mins daytime & 7600mins night time.Unaware of their mistake I continued to use my services according to my need. By just two weeks I was already gone past my free usage. And I had no clue because I don't see any records in my "Daywise Internet Usage Meter" webpage, this was another issue. They suspended my services on 24th Dec by slapping me a bill of Rs.4000+ on my face !

    My "Daywise Internet Usage Meter" webpage (that helps customers to check their daily internet usage-updated every 48hrs) was never fixed even after repeated requests. Customer care representative simply got away by replying that it shows records only after completely using the free usage in the plan which is false information & misleading. I have inquired other customers & local customer care services, according to them the webpage must show updates of the internet usage every 48hrs including the details of free usage & exceeding the free usage.

    After a long long fight since then (24th Dec to Jan 30th) I got my services back today tafter paying Rs.1800 rest adjusted as they accepted the mistake..thats fine !
    I have to pay the bill of Rs. 371 instead of Rs. 950 for the period of Dec 24th - Jan 24th when I had no services atall..thats fine again !

    Now, the biggest problem I have is, from 28th Nov '09 onwards photon+ has discontinued "Surf @ Night - 2 GB Day/10 GB Night " plans. Every customer who has requested or had this plan before 28th Nov '09 can continue to have this plan but no new requests will be taken !
    Because of the customer care representative's mistake on 24th Nov '09 I cannot have the plan I wanted anymore..I think..I have to check with them tommorow

    Conclusion : Tataphoton+ = Dissatisfactory services..tarrif plans that are not useful anymore
    Suggestion: BSNL EvDO sounds kool !

    Complaints:

    1) Misleading & False information. (for me i.e. on "Daywise Internet Usage Meter (Unbilled)" webpage was never fixed)
    2) Activating plans incorrectly & eventually billing skyhigh
    3) Giving hardtime & pain to customers by not resolving their issues properly

    *Dear Sir/Madam,*

    *I have been using Tata photon+ for Internet from last 3 months. Tata
    indicom claimed that Photon+ will give maximum download speeds up to 3.1
    Mbps and normal surfing speeds of more than 1 Mbps. But the surfing speed
    i'm getting here in Guwahati is around only 60-70 kbps. So certainly i am
    not at all satisfied with the service considering the costly monthly rental
    plans they have. But anyways that is not my concern.

    The main concern i have is that **i can not even stay without using the
    service for more than 3 months!!!* *That means i can remain without using
    the service and not pay the rental for atmost 3 months a year. But after
    that my rentals will keep getting accumulated no matter i use the service or
    not!! So the next time i use the service again i will have to first pay up
    for all the previous month's accumulated rentals!!! The point is that when
    we already have to pay a huge amount of 3500/- for the device (or you can
    say installation)when we buy the service, then how can they impose such a
    rule??? What is the loss when any customer does not use the service since he
    has already paid for the installation??? When they can not deliver the
    quality of service they cliam to provide they how can they force some one to
    use their service??I see this rule as nothing but a clear violation of basic
    consumer rights.*

    *So please look into the matter as this is a concern for not only me but
    any Tata photon+ customer. Early revert will be appreciated.

    i use photon+ last 2 month. my internet usages meter shows nothing. i complain many time but till not working.
