    • On 28th June,2011 my data card was swithed off ostensibly for non-payment of dues.
    • When I called the national helpline(!!!!!!) again I was advised to visit Reliance world once again to sor this out
    • The nodal phone no in Delhi (011-30332655) is perennially engaged (anyone can try and will know that I'm telling the truth)
    • I called another helpline no: 011-30331744; the lady there, who introduced herself as Kajol, was rude and told me that there must have been a call made to me by Reliance which I haven't answered!!!!!
    • When I asked her how she is sure that I hadn't answered the call, she said that in any case, she can't help (since this was a technical helpline) and I have to go back to the National Helpline

    Bottomline, my data card remains switched off and I am totally in the dark as to whom I can approach to have this sorted out;
    Can anyone please advice, if this is a fit case for going to the Consumer court and ask for a deterrant compensation from Reliance for harassment and mental torture?
    I'll be grateful for any advice.

    Default Bill being generated post Connection Termination

    My Reliance user ID is 239139962202.

    This connection was terminated post the request number .... Dated 29-March-2011. The connection was finally terminated on 04-April-2011.

    As per the usage guidelines, the bill should be generated for the period only till the time the connection was active, i.e. for the period from 24-March-2011 to 04-April-2011. But to my dismay, the bill for the month of March was generated for the full March-April period, i.e. for the period 24-March-2011 to 23-April-2011.
    And then again the bill was generated for the next cycle, i.e. for the period of 24-April-2011 to 23-May-2011 for the entire period. This was then notified to the customer care vide complaint number 153682503 dated 28-May-2011. The issue was not resolved at that time as the complaint taken by the customer care representative was incorrectly mentioned as waiver, but it was not a case of waiver, but a case of excess bill generation post the connection termination.

    Then again the bill was generated for the next billing cylce i.e. for the period 24-May-2011 to 23-June-2011 for the entire period.
    Then again the bill was generated for the next billing cylce i.e. for the period 24-June-2011 to 23-July-2011 for the entire period. This was then again notified to the customer care vide complaint number 157772528 dated 25-July-2011. The issue was again not resolved at that time as the complaint taken by the customer care representative was incorrectly mentioned as waiver, but it was not a case of waiver, but a case of excess bill generation post the connection termination.

    Then again the complaint with the complaint number 158061187 dated 28-July-2011 was raised. This time the proper resolution was given and the representative who introduced himself as calling from the Reliance Broadband Finance Department informed me on my mobile number 9881199267 that the next bill which will be generated, dated 24-Aug-2011, will be having the bill only for the usage period 24-March-2011 to 04-April-2011.

    Now when finally the new bill for the period 24-July-2011 to 23-Aug-2011 has been processed, then again I can see that the issue has not been still resolved and still the bill amount consists of the entire bill amount for the entire usage period of the current 5 months (i.e. from March to August).

    What more, I am now receiving a call from the number +912265664552 from a lawyer to pay my pending bill otherwise he will take a legal action against the consumer for non-payment of bill. To this I again raised a complaint vide complaint number 159808328 dated 23-Aug-2011 to which still the resolution is to come. Here the consumer representative informed me that he cannot do anything in this matter as this will take its own time and to avoid any kind of legal action, I need to pay the entire amount and then wait for refund.

    Now my question is that when the connection was terminated long way back and legally, then why am I still getting the usage bill, and why is the need for a payment of excess amount bill to which I cannot even be sure of that it will never happen again?

    Please look into the matter on an immediate basis and help me get out of this. My details are as given below:

    Simply accepting the fault is not going to solve the issues now, as still I am getting repeated calls from your lawyer, to which he is not even listening to me now.
    This is a simple case of "HARASSMENT" to the customer and to which RELIANCE COMMUNICATIONS is liable to face a proper legal lawsuit from the consumer.

    Please talk to the concerned lawyer from your end at the number +912265664552 and get the legal action overturned from your end.

    maine 19-10-2011 ko 9-10 pm k samay 97 rs ka net recharge karaya tha lekin vo mere mo. account me aaya nahi. 20-10-11 ko 8-9 pm k samay maine phir 198 rs ka net recharge karaya vo bhi mere mo.account me aaya nahi. mai bahut jyada 'pareshan' hoo. plz jald se jald mere mobile me mere net recharge ka paisa dalne ka kast kare...............

    I am a reliance broadband customer being No. 09356699159 since 30.09.2011, but due to some unavoidavle reason I have to go out of Ludhiana and in the mean time the reliance authority came to verify my address and they talked to my land lord, I was not present infront of them at that time so they send a negative varification report and my Number was terminated, after talking to the customer care I again submit my ID and adress proof for reactivate my device in the Jamalpur Reliance out let, Ludhiana on 11.11.2011 but till date they can not make the verification and everyday they assure to make it on the next day, but till today the next day has not come. I just want to say that is this your business policy? Do you ever think about your customer? You always follow your rules and regulation but you never care what the hell your authorised outlet owners are doing with the customers. Lastly I am sorry to say that this is my biggest fault to have a Reliance Broadband connection.

    I am just inform you that i met with your employee and name of him is Mr. Avatar Singh and department in sales, I ordered to point to point for connect a reliance leased line at 23.11.2011, i already gave a cheque, amount of 13.330/- (S.B.O.P) branch, but the thing is that i called him many time but he does not pick my call and msgs, He never reply what is the status of leasedline, So please kindly resoleved this problem,

    Angry Against reliance a fraud company in chandigarh

    Sir,
    I am just inform you that i met with your employee and name of him is Mr. Rajnesh and contact no. 7355452417 department in sales, I ordered him for reliance broadband connection till now my connection has not been wired., i already gave a cash, amount of 600/- and he made a draft from (ICICI) branch, but the thing is that i called him many time but he does not pick my call and msgs. He never reply what is the status of leasedline because of which my connection could not be wired. I call him one time he pick my cell and told me that company will directly send u a cheque at ur address within 45 days. Till now it must be 2 months and i do'nt get any reply about my connection. And it has not been wired and he made me fraud and went away with my money. So please kindly resoleved this problem. Ur sale executive moves like a street dogs in our area for the new connection and the customer care says we do'nt get any information about ur connection. and they also not give the contact no. of ur centre. i think ur company is biggest fraud . if u do'nt give any suggestion i would highly like to case against ur company in the court and i would like to be published in the all newspapers, and in media.

    One of your person came to my home and said there is feasibility for the WIFI connection and took money from me.After 7 days, installation folks came to home and check there was no feasibility available.

    Now I'm try to call to below people who contacted me and who taken money from me, upto now no one is responding properly.

    Billing ID 100000116993832 - I have cancelled my broadband connection with Reliance Broadband in March 2011, and all infrastructure (modem, wires etc) was returned to them in March 2011 itself. The final bill for outstanding dues was paid by me in March 2011 as well. However, since then - from June 2011 until now, February 2012 - I have been repeatedly harassed with phone calls from them demanding payment of broadband charges (INR 2625) for the months of April, May and June 2011 - during which time I neither had an active connection nor did I even possess their modem or wires. Any analysis of data for this month will obviously indicate ZERO usage by my customer ID.

    I have exchanged countless complaints with Reliance CustomerCare, placed numerous complaints with their Nodal officer as well, all of which have resulted in no response from Reliance except for further phone calls demanding payment of INR 2625. It is completely ridiculous for a consumer to be harassed like this for payment of charges subsequent to termination of the connection. I can see from this website that this seems to be a frequent tactic of Reliance Communications and several consumers have been harassed in this manner. I'm now receiving calls from an alleged lawyer called DK Rathore (phone number +91 78918 44358) threatening legal proceedings.

    Reliance - please get in touch with me on +91 90040 85505 immediately to address this issue.
