    Default reliance datacard poor service complaint

    Dear Concerned.


    This is the issue which I am facing and I am a consultant who works for US companies
    and I am billable for 5000/Hour to my company. And from last 5 days I am not able to
    bill them as no internet cafe is opening in night shift and my net is not working
    due to the negligent behavior of reliance and same are as higher authorities.

    Kindly help me to take this forward.

    Dear Concerned,

    I am Vishal Mahaldar and I purchased one Data card USB 3.1 Mbps speed in the month
    of June against 10Gb plan for nationwide with monthly rent of 1750.

    On 2nd of July I got a call from Mumbai reliance saying that I have crossed my
    credit limit and I need to pay it.
    I made the payment of 1000 as my card was barred from using it. Then I raised an
    issue that how is it possible that my usage is 1750/Month and just for 1000 my card
    is barred. But all in vain and I was told to make payment.

    Now on 10th July I faced frequent disconnection for my card and I again raised an
    issue then I called customer care, they said it is a temporary issue. I though might
    be, then on 13th July I called again to raise a complaint.
    They took my request and gave me request number -103861210.

    Then again on 14th July I called and they(customer care) said I should visit
    Reliance web world. I went to same place at Gandhi bazaar, Bangalore and spent 40
    minutes but again all in vain. Now they say its a device issue and I have to go to
    service centre.

    Now I am having no reason why I should suffer when I am paying for service.

    I am a IT consultant and I work for US company according to their time zone. From
    last 6 days I am without net connection and there is no shop or cafe opening in
    night time where I can go to work and can support my company and get my billing
    done. I am losing my money and also my time just because there is no one to
    understand my need.

    I do not know how you want to take this thing, may be as a one more mail or a
    concern that I am facing, I am ready to pay till date for my usage once I hear from
    you.
    I will really appreciate if I get some reply from the people taking care of such
    esteemed brand.

    Reliance service is too much poor, I purchased a data card but reliacance guy can't completed its verification and disconneted it.

    Default Inflated bills for the services not offered

    My experience with the reliance data card services has been full of unfulfilled promises and unreasonable fleecing.

    My data card purchased on 16 th Oct 2009 was broken during the most of free period. Once the card was repaired after a couple of agonizing visits to the service center (the guys were completely incapable of replacing the car in a single visit), the help desk assured me to correct the billing for the broken period once the bill was generated.

    I asked the helpdesk to revert me to 499 plan from 16th Nov. I saw was miserable to see an inflated bill for me for @1790 plan and with no concession for the period when the service was completely broken from the relianace side. When i contacted the helpdesk after bill generation, they say they cannot help as their information does not mention anything about the broken period or change of plan from Nov 16th. The Banaglore escalation number provided by them is worse, nobody picks it - i tried it 20 times.

    Now the most unreasonable part - while i am escalating the issue, the guys closed my services WITHOUT ANY WARNING or COURTSEY CALL.

    When i asked them to suspend the services, these guys say that they cannot suspend it before i have completed subscription for 2 months. This 2 months clause was not mentioned at any place or told to me before the purchase.

    Can i have any recourse for the non stop issues created by the card and the billing of most unreasonable service providers like Reliance.

    hi my name is amit gambhir .i m using reliance data card for last 6 months .today 17feb net is not working every 5 min its disclosed .i was try to complaint regarding tht but ur agent on customer care name azadwinder singh deind he said number is not in ur name .tht is not my fault .i summited my hole things while purschaing the net.i want reslove my problem and action against ur agent bcz he dont knw how to deal wht customer.my net number is 9316623489 .the same copy of complaint i send to trai india .

    We are taken relence data card on 24/04/10 but till date we didn't get net connectvity so please send us your engineer to our address as soon as possible.

    I have One Internet Data Card Lost few days before your promise 3.1 mbp Speed.
    But Now I am Getting Only 100kbp to 500kbp only in Chennai
    It is to bad to brewing

    I had very bad experience. My card was not working and when I was out of station after coming back to bangalore when I enquired they said my bill is not paid, after paid the bill also it was not working, then they said it is hardware problem and they given one address at shivaji nagar, when I went to that store those guys asked to wait 1hour and then they said they shifted their service to rajajinagar. So all together that day i spend nearly 500 rupees for auto, but finally rajajinagar office found closed and security asked to come on monday. But i was not intrested to spend again for auto. so i dropped my datacard in nearby dustbin and I brought TATA in nearby shop.

    Default Committing fraud and cheating me as a customer

    I had terminated my reliance data card connection at their outlet in Nanganallur Chennai on Nov 29, 2010 after payinga ll outstanding dues and filling in the termination form. A month later, I got a bill for that month. When I called the call center, I learnt that they had not terminated my connection. I contacted the branch and they did nothing to resolve my issue for a while. Then finally after repeated visits, they assured me everything was resolved and I did not have any outstanding dues. I reached out top their nodal officer. The phone line is perennially engaged. So I wirte to them end of Dec 2010. They said it will be attended to and nothing was done.

    From my standpoint, they are cheating me. Their customer care or their nodal office doesnt care about customer complaints. They repeatedly assured me that everything is resolved and I dont owe anything outstanding. Eventually, when I get a further bill or notification, thats when I realize that they dont deliver on what is promised.

    Being a large company, its dusgusting to see their total lack of regard for ethics, customer focus or responsiveness. They are absolute cheaters and frauds and I deserve justiice. I disconnected my connection and they keep charging me money just to cheat me out of my hard earned money... So much for corporate ethics. You can definitely "Rely" on reliance to commit fraud.

    Default Very poor service from Reliance Netconnet+ in Chennai

    Dear Sir/Madam

    I wish to log my pains in this forum wrt Reliance 3G datacard service. I opted for reliance Netconnect+ in Chennai in order to avail the Reliance's promise of "India's fastest wireless networek" with speeds of up to 3.1 Mbps. I have been consistently getting speeds to 0.2 to 0.5 Mbps. I have tested this datacard in various parts of Chennai city (T-Nagar, LB Rd, Kalakshetra colony) as well different platforms (Linux and windows). I have also compared my datacard connectiion with my colleague's reliance datacard at office. The same location he is able to get 1.5 Mbps while my card is only giving 0.2 Mbps.

    I have lodged several complaints with Reliance Customer Care and every time they have some excuse. They requested me to check the modem at their service centre, which I did and found that it was not a modem issue. I was then told to get the modem changed at Reliance Web World which I tried to but when I went to the shop they refused as by then my account was depleted and they insisted that I should recharge in order to check the problem. I gave them my complaint number, but they still insisted that I needed to recharge. I pointed out that my last recharge went unused as my connection speed was so slow I could not get any useful work done. I again called the customer care, giving them my complaint number, but now they just treated my complaint as if it was the first time I was calling them, asking me to again check my computer, then asking me to go to the service centre... I had to recharge my card again and when they finally checked again, they just said it was a network issue that it would be solved sometime soon. When I told them that my office colleague managed decent speed from the same location and therefore it ruled out the network fault they just said that this was the problem with some people only. ???? Finally I am left with my defunct modem, poor service and a Customer care service that is not wanting to solve client's problems.

    What can I do at this point? I see from the forum that I am not the only one to have such issues, is there a way to get Reliance to pay attention to these problems?
