    Default My experience with Tata Indicom Broadband

    I am from Chennai. I have been using Tata Indicom Broadband for more than 6 years. Previously I used to face downtime once in every three months. But this year since March,there has been numerous problems with Tata indicom broadband.

    Here is my complaint history,

    25th March 8:30 am I call up the customer care no and place a complaint. They assure me that the complaint will be solved within the next 24 hours .The complaint no is 13484652. It gets resolved on 29th march after numerous calls to the Customer Care.

    I then again face the same problem (problem with line) on may 14th . So I make a complaint on 14th may time: 6:41 pm complaint no: 13634286. It gets resolved on may 20th .

    Then in the month of June my BB stops working on 19.6.11.But I called up the person who is in charge of services for the Chennai division instead of the Customer Care . But still no improvement till 21st May. So I made a complaint on 21.6.11- complaint no: 13757854. It was resolved on 22.6.11.

    It worked just for a day then it failed again. So I made a complaint again on 24.6.11 time: 8:39 am complaint no: 13765800. After numerous calls to almost all the Customer Care Centres in India and to the Nodal Officers the complaint was resolved on 3rd July (i.e. 10 days after the complaint was made).

    After 3rd July I started facing problem with speed in the night (i.e. after 9pm) where the speed dropped to around 200 kbps in the night. My plan is Upto 2 MBps. It worked fine during the day.But it dropped during the nights. I called the Customer care people and the Local person in charge. But the only reply they gave me was that there is no problem with the server and the problem must be with my computer.

    I don’t know how the speed can drop steadily at exactly 9pm everyday. I finally filed a complaint for this problem on 19th july - complaint no : 13846588. The same day the Local person in charge called us up and told that the problem had been solved. But it wasn’t . My problem continued. But the complaint was closed.

    I made a complaint again on 20th of July complaint no: 13849888 at 9:34 am. The local person called me up and told me that he would check the server for errors. At around 5:30 pm my BB totally failed (previously it was working but speed was low, but now it is dead) So I added the line problem to the same complaint no.

    After numerous calls they finally solved the line problem on 26/7/11 at around 4:00 pm and asked me to check the speed during the night.
    It worked only for an hour after they solved the issue then it became dead. Again I made a complaint at 6:30 pm complaint no. 13866872. So I am yet to check the speed during the night.

    And so my sorry story with Tata Indicom Broadband continues where I pay more for the telephone bill than my broadband bill.

    Default My experience with Tata Indicom Broadband

    I am a customer of your tata indicom broad band network. I have tried to get in touch with CSR on phone but had a harrowing experience where i was transfered from one person to another without any proper response for 40 min. Frustrated I dropped the phone.

    I tried opening a service request online but all of them got closed without any resolution or any communication with me. I just got to know about the same today only when i accessed my online account.

    I am sorry to say that i am highly dissapointed with the service which tata indicom is offerring. All this started in May when i got an extra ordinarily large bill which suggested that i used up all my 3 gb of quota. I had been a customer of hathway for long and i have never exceeded 1 gb quota that i had. Considering the same i was amazed. Specially due to the fact that i dont download any movies or large files. The CSR asked my to pay up for an intermediate amount and assured that that the matter will be looked into. However nothing happened.

    Later next month i still got a larger bill. I again called up and was eventually able to get through to a CSR who asked me to pay up the entire amount. I thought it might a one case and hence paid up. But the same thing got repeated again and again. I am not sure what to do and where to go.
