    Default Tata indicom Broadband - Wimax Service is providing a third class service in Bangalor

    Tata indicom Broadband - Wimax Service is providing a third class service in Bangalore.

    I am blaming my self why i have taken Tata indicom Broadband - Wimax Service for
    for my personal use at home.. There Broadband Services are not worth for money.
    Yo cannot rely on there services at all.
    Problems are listed as below -
    1. In a month several times down time.
    2. When you call Customer Care , 24 hours of long time to solve problem every time a complaint is raised. (Down time is 4 to 5 times in a month i.e 24(hrs)* 5 times =120 hours of down time)
    3. Wrongly Inactivation of account from there Technical Team / Networking team at the time of upgrade in there servers (as spoken to there Customer Care executive) .
    4. No refund of money for down times, which is due to there internal problems.

    So i want to file complaint against Tata indicom Broadband - Wimax Service and send notice to them for cheating the customer..

    Thumbs down Tata Indicom Broadband- Infinity 512 Postpaid - Excess Billing

    Firstly This plan is supposed to be a post-paid plan but thats a LIE. Its actually a prepaid plan. So in a sense all plans at Tata Indicom Boradband are prepaid plans!! DO NOT buy any postpaid plans from them!! All post-paid plans are in essense Prepaid.

    I paid 6620 in advance for 4 months of rental. At the end of 3 month I was sent a bill of 1800 rupees. On calling the help-desk I was told that the 1 month is taken as advance rental and will be "adjusted" at the time of disconnection. On being asked if I disconnect the connection today, will the remaining amount be returned to me. The answer was NO. The amount will only be "adjusted". On asking him to clarify on what adjusted means, he asked me to write a e-mail to the customer support for clarifications. Needless to say, God only know when e-mails will be replied to.

    Since the last date for payment at any time is 15 days after the bill is generated, you will never be able to make use of internet equal to the amount of money that you have paid. Thats pretty cool for Tata’s point of view. They are actually running the business on stolen money. Stolen because you never agreed to pre-pay.


    The speed is supposed to be 512 kbps, but at any given point of time the download speed hovers about 50 kbps only.


    The connectivity is really unreliable. It goes down many times a day and the common refrain from the customer support is that the "server is down". This is a NO GO for those running SOHOs.


    The customer help desk is actually very unhelpful. Firstly it takes many calls to even get through to the billing department. Actually I realized that their work timings might be different from normal human beings. They are unreachable before 11 AM, and after 4:30 PM.

    Go for it only at your own peril.

    I would like to say that, I am totally disappointed with your WORST customer services.
    I raised a complain day before yesterday, but no one can contact me till today. Thats why just now I again raised a New Complain.If your company does not know HOW TO CARE AND GIVE PROPER SERVICES OR IF DO NOT HAVE A SINGLE SMART EMPLOYEE , then LEAVE ISP PROVIDER BUSINESS OK

    My request is that, My Modem,Antenna and CAT5 Internet cable(which are provided by TATA WiMax) are totally damage.Due to this, every time showing ERROR ERROR & ERROR. I am not able to get Internet connection since Sunday .

    for the last time I requested to you, please change/replace all these equipment as soon as possible. If your company wont be provide new or good condition devices then take your connection return back.

    Completely disappointed on the wi max services provided by Tata indicom.

    1. I have spoken to customer care executive nearly 22 mins last time, still the problem has not rectified. End of the call he lodged a complaint to get the technical expertise. The most irritating thing was the call is not a toll free, so I felt the people had tried to make the call as longer as possible. Once I asked them whether they have went for a tea break when I was on call since they have taken such a long time to just retrieve my "details".
    2. The net is down most of the times, it wont survive a small virus attack. That was down even with a paid antivirus, now the reason would different from their end.
    3. It will take atleast 24Hrs to rectify the issue, still we need to pay the amount for the post paid service.

    Thanks for your amazing customer care and service. Enough, let me take a break.

    I am stunning how these guys are surviving such a competetive market. I just want to take a new connection whatever offer they are giving since the down time is surpricingly high.

    Default Tata Indicom WiMax Sucks

    I have this connection for sometime now and recently I am observing downtime of days together. Though the customer care seems helpful, but the recent downtime I have faced of 2 days straight is not tolerable, hence I am discontinuing the connection after an agonising 4 years !!! Wonder why , probably the other providers equally sucked. Airtel is out of the question as I have terrible experience with Airtel Thinking of Reliance. But do not go for WiMax I do not recommend it because it is not reliable and it will get disconnected sporadically.
