    I Dhirendra Kamdar one of your regular costumer for last 2-3 years, I wanted to complaint about your services for recent times.
    I had got call from call center at (07940053076) which is my airtels landline number, my son picked up the phone and that lady started the conversation asking my son are you dhirenji and he had not replied after, she started talking about new plans about internet than my son also started asking about new plans. After conversation between my son and that lady, lady started talking about activating new plan and she also told that if you want to deactivate the plan it can be done back to original plan and she had also asked about my son's email id and birth date which he had gave innocently without knowing any consequences. My son didint speak about either activating plan or not activating plan he has not spoke yes or no about any new plans before completion of conversation my son talked to me about this new plan and about half and hour after again i had call to costumer services and had strictly told not to activate any new plan on my internet and had also told not to disturb my original plan (128kb\s speed unlimited download + 250 calls free total cost 550 Rs excluding tax) than the person on the phone had agreed not activate any new plan on my internet. Now after few days a person name (Sunil Patel) called me from the Ahmedabad Airtel office (079-40090917) and he told me about the conversation clip and asked me to come at airtel office to check it then I went to his office for conformation of the clip in which my son and costumer care executive had a conversation, After hearing the clip along with Sunil Patel and Dhruv bhai they agreed to activate my first original plan (Rs 550.00) then on the next day a lady called me on mobile (9825703322) from Bhopal that lady asked for activating plan consisting Rs 499.00 as a rent but i strictly advise and told not to activate any plan other than my first original plan Rs 550.00 and connection was lost and she didn't call me again.
    After few hours my son called me on my cell and told that plan of Rs 499 was started though i clearly mentioned not to be started. Now between this days we continuously requested and lodged our complain to the customer care and complain request number and the costumer care executive names are as follows:

    complain number-21956738-KUSHAL KUMAR
    They all promised and told us that your original plan Rs 550.00 would be activated within two days
    Yesterday a person named JAIN called me from Mumbai Airtel office ( no-022-40156937),
    calling me he told me that after hearing the audio clip in which my son never told neither yes nor no to the customer care executive so on that bases he told me that your original plan could not be activated as there is neither yes nor no to the customer care executive, Now after a bit conversation i told him that i would complain in CCTS and consumer court if required. Than he told ME WHATEVER YOU WANT WHATEVER YOU CAN...Sir I request to take some action in this matter i am hopeful that i won't be disappointed

    Hello,

    Send a written notice via registered post to your area nodal officer about your problem, mention all the complaints no. in it and ask them for the proper solution so that you will not face such type of problem again.

    Note: Do not forget to keep the slip of registered post in safe, it will help you if the parent company will not solve the issue with in the mention time of 15 to 20 days.

    Default False Bills and undue barring of internet connection due to non-payment

    Airtel broadband service has no call center support at all. Their servers are not reflected with the information properly.

    I am using internet with following no in Faridabad, Haryana -0129 4073821. my sister had changed the internet plan from limited to unlimited over call center which NEVER got reflected in the centralized system!!! Due to that we got huge bills without any reason and when we denied to pay it off and asked for waiver, the airtel local executives contacted us and promised to waive the undue bill generated, Now after 15 days of that incident, our next cycle bill was generated which did NOT reflect the waiver and when we tried to contact customer care person he never responded!! When tried again they informed us that the services have been barred due to non-payment !!!

    This is height of non responsibility of the airtel service providers. Even after clearing the old bills, there was nothing generated on their server.

    Angry Complaint for responding properly

    iam a customer of airtel broad band, from Last saturday our Web mail server was not accessing so i called for custmor support to Customer care
    BUT IT CANT B REACHABLE, IF ALSO IT CONNECTS THE ANSWERING MACHNINE WAS NOT TRANSFERRING THE CALLL TO THE EXECATIVE, I TRIED IT MANY TIMES BUT IT WAS JUST ASKING ME TO PRESS THE NUMBER AND IT WAS NOT TRASFERRING THE CALL, BECAUSE OF WHICH IN MY OFFICE THERE WAS A HORRIBLE SITUATION AND NO WORK WS DONE FOR 3 DAYS.
    U HAVE PROVIDED ME 5-6 NUMBERS BUT NO NUMBER IS WORKING,
    SO PLZ DONT REPEAT IT AGAIN.

    hello,
    I SENTHILNATHAN of Chennai Tamilnadu has paid an amount of Rs4000+500 for the broadband connection.I have taken a half yearly plan.After the payment the airtel Officers does not analyse the location that whether feasibility is available or not they transfered my amount to Head office.Why should i wait for my money without any connection provided to me by airtel.Now they are saying that amount will be refunded in 2 Month .Already 1 Month are over after the payment.So i kindly request you to refund my amount as early as possible.

    Default Airtel cheats

    Hello!

    I am using a Aritel Broadband connection. The plan detailsare:
    Freedom 1 Mbps
    Tariff: Rs. 1699/-

    The same plan now has been revised to Rs. 1399/-. On enquiring with Airtel about the new tariff I was told that I will be conitnued to be charged Rs. 1699/-. I argued on the point that the same plan has beenr evised to Rs. 1399/- then why should I pay Rs. 1699/-. I am using a TATA Indicom internet connection. When they revised the tariffs for an existing paln the same were automatically passed on the customers.

    The CSR didnot bother to understand the complaint and when asked for the team leader simply disconnected the call.

    The nodal executive mentioned that Airtel is a very big company and cannot inform all its customers of the new plans. The statement made by her was "If you want some help then listen to me".

    Airtel has grown too big for its customers. They dont need any further customers and are satisfied.

    Default 4 days u get airtellconnection....I am waiting above 50 Days...

    We had registered for Airtel broadband use on the 3rd of November. Your Customer care executive. had promised to get it operational within 4 working days. It has been 2 month now and the Landline/ broadband is not yet operational.
    I had come to kodambakkam chennai officce 8 times..but still they are't take any actions..
    I very much Disappoinment For Your Service..Tell Me sir How many days still iam Waiting?

    Angry Airtel shows its true character when asked for disconnection

    Hi,

    I have been using all the three services provided by AIRTEL i.e. Broadband, Mobile and DTH. I had a feeling that AIRTEL is one of the best service provider in India and used to vouch for that too. But today I realized that I was so wrong. AIRTEL is no different from other companies. I would like to pen down my trust break story here so that no body else in future have to go through the mental agony which I am going through. The story goes like this:
    I had a airtel broadband connection and the service and connection was superb, it was so good that I got this connection at my office too. Then I had to relocate myself to a place which was not wired yet for airtel connection(I got to know this only after a week of my relocation). Although I started making calls for relocation from the day I shifted and almost for a week I didn't get a firm answer, then one day one of the customer care executive told me that the area is not wired and so the connection can't be relocated. Then I asked for disconnection of the service and my request was registered on 24th Feb 2010. On the same day I received a call from the airtel people that if I wish I can put my line on hold for a month on rental charge of Rs250 with a month waiver. Being a LOYAL customer I agreed for the same. Then on 3rd March I received a call from airtel people for confirmation on putting the line on hold to which I said yes. After some time I got a bill from airtel and didn't look at it (which was a mistake form my side) thinking that I have not to pay any amount as I had a waiver this month.

    But two days back I received a call from airtel people again that I have to pay Rs 1600 approx, then when I went to enquire and wished to disconnect this service as didn't see any plans of the area being wired in the next six months. To my surprise I was told that if I wish to continue then they would give me some discount on the above stated amount otherwise I have to pay this money.

    My only question to the Airtel officials, if they are listening, is even If i pay this amount and let go everything, would they ever be able to build the faith I have lost and one more thing HAVE YOU PEOPLE STOPPED VALUING YOUR CUSTOMERS.
    I wish you AIRTEL GET WELL SOON otherwise always remember nature's lesson Sun always has to set after it rises.

    Default New Connection Problem

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    This is to inform u that I have applied the broadband Line on 15th May 2010(Application No. CH987028). I have paid Rs.1000/- For the plan of Rs.799/-. He said that available of the line in the box is 2 Nos. The box is TB-VIL0101094 the Length from the box is 142Mts to my house.

    On 16th May A person came to give the line. He said the length of wire is less i will bring it. but, he did not came back.

    I call him and ask about the connection (His Mobile no.9543407333)

    He given the Team Leader No. to contact Mr.SASI.(Mobile No.98400 54984) He said that no available of new connection.

    Again I called and ask the sale person Mr.Madhan(Mobile : 9840661232) what happen to the line. He said that please wait sir I will provide the connection.

    On 24th may 2010 a person came to give connection at 8 P.M. without any intimation. My grand mother said to contact me, but he did not contact me.

    Now the technical person and the sale person are saying that you can cancel the line. For the canceling the line did I paid.

    I need the explanation for the issue. If you are canceling the line you need to pay the Interest. Otherwise the problem will be seen in the court. This is for your kind information.

    For a new connection it will take 4 to 7 Working day, this information were give by the customer care only. Today is 9th working day.

    I had registered for Airtel broadband on the 20th of May. Your Customer care executive. had promised to get it operational within 4 working days. It has been 20 days now and the Landline/ broadband is not yet operational.

    I had called many times to your Team Lead, Jacob 9840906241 (jacop.i@airtel.in) But still they haven't take any actions.

    In case futher delay kindly keep me posted. It is extremely disappointed as you know this well. Kindly request you to look into this.

    Thumbs down New airtel broadband ads

    Just dont fall for their new advertisements .Eventhough it says unlimited in bold letters , underneath the leaflet you can that there are limitations placed for the download.For eg. if you take a 4 Mbps unlimited plan fro rs 1399 they are placing a download limit for 25 GB. Once you cross the 25 GB limit speed will be downgraded to 1 mbps or less than that.
    Dont know then why they are saying its 4Mbps unlimited.
    So anyone before taking new plans kindly check with the Airtel Customer Care ..Seems like Mittal wants more money these days :-)
