I have applied for a broadband connection on 14th August, 2009 and issued a cheque of Rs. 500 as installation charges. It is almost 2 years to go, but there is no installation done in my premises till date. I already mailed to the customer care and nodal officer of Kolkata on May, 2010. After that I received a reply mail that the billing issue is solved and the installation cancelled.
But from the last 3 months of this year, I start receiving the bills for the same broadband line with an Account no. : 100112284342, billing Account No. : 100000113015902. I again make a call to the customer care on 29th May, 2011 for the issue with a Service Request ID 153654706 and got a reply that, the Billing issue will solve at the earliest. But it is not yet been solved as I received again a bill for last month.
I am very much disappointed for such a worst service. When I am not using the broadband service then why should I pay?
I also demand the Installation charge of Rs.500, what I paid at the time of filling up the form for installation. When there was no installation, then why should I charged for? I also have the receipt-cum-acknowledgement of my payment.
So, Please advice me, what should I do for this issue.
Since, I am a physically challenged person as I have some difficulties in my leg and eye, I could not go to the consumer court. Is there any online facility to submit a defarmation suit in Consumer Court?
I have attached the receipt cum acknowledge slip and the bill of last month with this post.
please help me out.
