    Dear sir,I'm using Reliance Broadband services for the past 15 days.
    The speed of the connection is not as specified in my plan.
    I have lodged many complaints regarding this issue and there has been
    absolutely no response from their end.
    Please do look into this issue and do the needful.

    Its shame that its almost a month for my below mail and after my so many
    desprate calls and pleas no one has even bothered to call us and look into
    this matter.

    Now this matter can be solved by media and consumer courts only and also as
    a loyal service to my travel faternity and airlines I will make sure that no
    one is related to Reliance anymore.

    Thanking your company for all that trauma I have gone through which made me
    learn not to trust this company any more.

    Ref:Hopeless service and Irresponsible marketing executives.

    We are into travel industry since 1991 providing our services in Hyderabad.
    earlier we were using Tata connections but due to frequent call drops and
    poor service we wanted to have this reliance connections and I applied for
    10 lines to your so called Area sales manager Mr. V.Kumar swamy(cell
    no 9394080808) on 25th September and as I am taking 10 lines he also
    promised me a fancy number 040-39111111. Also with call hunting and cug
    facility.

    By saying this he collected the required documents and a cheque of rs.5000/-
    favoring reliance communications promising me that in 4 working days the
    lines will be installed .the next day he called me and said the allotted
    fancy number is not available for that you need to shell out a huge amount
    the other number which is available will be allotted to you i.e. 30523052,53
    54 55...so on till 10 lines.

    Leaving no options I agreed for the same and went ahead with printing of
    office stationery with the above number 30523052(10 lines).After waiting
    for 5 working days I called the area sales manager to inform him that no
    line has been installed.he took the call and very irresponsibly tells me
    that they have a problem in laying a cable and the lines are full in the
    server.

    The next day when I called nearly for 20 times to the Area Sales manager ,
    yield and begged for the installation as I have printed the stationary
    worth lakhs of rupees he says its not his department call the Installation
    department and gave me cell number of one Mr.Srikanth (ASM) who never care
    to take my calls.I again called Mr. Kumar who never answered my calls.

    Landing myself in such a disgusting situation I went to the Reliance
    Communications office on 05 October at punjagutta and came to know that they
    have shifted to some new address and with much difficulty I located their
    office at Lakeshore towers somajiguda and asked their for Mr.Kumar,He was
    not their and after my continuous visits I got to meet him on 12 October.

    He said again the same story and introduced me to one Mr.Murty of
    Installation department he had also the same problem of shortage of cables
    and I had to come back with empty hands .After running pillar to post for
    Installations I succeeded getting just three connections on 21 September and
    to my utter shock with new numbers and not the numbers which were promised
    to me. I called up Mr.Kumar and after 10 calls he took my call and says that
    my numbers will be changed in another 24 hours and only one number was
    changed that too without any call hunting & Cug facility.

    Is this the price Reliance subscriber after believing you people has to pay
    and just because that we went ahead with the printing job we had to beg for
    the services with you people.

    I wanted to increase the connections from 10 to 25 but the lowest quality
    of service I ever experienced was this.There is a huge lisit of your staff
    who are openly cheating in the market and collecting huge amounts just for
    their commissions from innocent people.

    Instead of wasting time and money on so much heavy advertising and
    promotions I would suggest this is the high time were reliance should chek
    there poor d graded services they are offering to their subscribers and
    after promising and collecting the amounts for new connections the
    harrassment a customer has to go through.

    I respect the vision of Mr.Dhirubhaiambani and in his are his customers were
    everything for him.

    Vinod, This might be a problem with the Settings/Details in Server Department. Please Send a mail to the Reliance broadband@relianceada.com with your details. They might get You resolved. Also Post a Copy here so that if they don't take action, the Consumer Court will Help You!

    Hi Vinod.

    It seems to be a problem with the Company Side. Have you tried to Contact them through their email : broadband@relianceada.com.
    email them with your details+problem and post the email+response here so that appropriate action can be taken by consumer court if the matter is not resolved.

    Default Reliance Boradband Limited Connectivity problem

    I am facing this limted connectivity issue from past three days and whenever I made a complaint it got closed saying it has been processed without anyone looking into the matter. I have sent the following mail to broadband@relianceada.com

    Hello Sir/Mam,
    I am facing this Internet connection failure problem (User Id:256624746335). It shows limited connectivity. I have complaint twice and both these times it has been registered as processed without anyone even looking into the problem. The complaint numbers are as follows:
    118635755(Complaint made on 30th January at around 6 pm)
    118696823(Complaint made on 31st January at around 3 pm)
    118721555(Complaint made on 1st February at around 12 am)...

    Each time they assured that the problem will be rectified within 24 hours and when you call them to know the status they say it has been processed. The executive tells that a person will come home to rectify it. I had an important personal work which I had to miss and to my disappointment nobody showed up. Moreover, its very difficult during the week to come home early and get it rectified. The complaint has been registered third time and if this continues I am going to report it at consumer forum. I am loosing important business because of this problem. Please do look into this issue and do the needful as soon as possible.

    Default Reliance Broadband Complaint No - 118366432‏

    My tariff is updated only on the bill not on system. This is the email I sent to broadband@relianceada.com after several calls (removed contact details) - Wed 1/27/10 8:06 AM

    You have not correctly updated my tariff plan on your server. I have attached 2 screen shots (MY PLAN page & SPEEDOMETER page) as PROOF.

    My Tariff plan since 26th December 2009 is supposed to be the new "Surf Addiction 400" for Rs. 749 (plus tax) per month which means I should be getting about 43.xx kbps. However, since 27th December 2009, my speed has been fluctuating between 10 kbps to 37 kbps which has made surfing/download/upload very difficult (compared to my previous tariff plan). Complaints were made, but nothing was done.

    Also, the "MY PLAN" page since 27th Dec 2009 always shows nothing about my internet speed/Tariff Plan. On rare occasions (for a few minutes), the "MY PLAN" page would show a red circle with a RED X mark followed with "400 KBPS" at the side.

    The speedometer test (your site & others) is still showing upload speed between 294-313 kbps and download speed between 273-297 kbps. This is the same when I was on 300 KBPS Flat Fee plan. When I was on "600 kbps Flat Fee" plan between 2008-2009, the upload speed was 587-602 kbps and download speed was 584-598 kbps.

    Today, 27th Jan 2010 the MY PLAN page is showing Flat Fee 300 kbps with a green colour ticked circle.

    I want this technical problem rectified as CLEAR VISIBLE EVIDENCE is given. If you want verification of the screen shots please send your technician to my house."


    The response (by phone) by Customer Service is that it is the technicians job to fully update my tariff plan on server while technican says its the Customer Sevice job to do the same. To this very day the MY PLAN page says FLAT FEE 300 KBPS.

    Default Reliance Broadband services

    When I paid the entire amont to the sales person from reliance I was told
    that within 2 days my Net connection will be done. I paid amount on 18th nov
    2009. It took them 8 days to get me IP address. finally after complaining
    regularly, they came on 8th day 26th nov 2009. From today morning
    onwards(27th nov 2009) net is not working. When I made a cal to person who
    installed my net connection he told me to complain at one number (ph
    079-30335555). From there I was told that My payment is not done. I was told
    to contact the sales person whom I had paid on 18th nov. When I made a cal
    to him he said he will call, after hearing my complaint me back in few min .
    I did not get any response. Finally when he picked up my call in evening he
    said I have to contact his boss. I even made a cal on that number. That
    person did not show any interest in my issue and disconnected my call.
    Please help me.. It is said that consumer is king of market ...here consumer
    is made slave....kindly look into this issue and help me in getting some
    possible solution .

    I am Jyothi reddy, residing in the below mentioned address applied for
    broadband connection in 07/09/2009. Till date today I never received any
    connection or my money back. I would like to spare your few minutes here to
    read out how i got treated by these people.

    *September :* I had applied for broadband by Mr.Manohar the executive and he
    informed me in a week i will be geeting the connection. you know what in our
    area there's no cables installed or no towers kept. Since he prommised me
    for a week, But still i agreed with him and told atleast if i get it in a
    month that would be great.
    Days passing and no one called me or no information about my connection. I
    tried calling the above mentioned continuously after 2 weeks and he gave me
    some bull shit reasons every time. And finally he gave me few conatcts
    saying they are his Team leaders and managers.

    October:* I tried calling all the numbers mentioned above and finally the
    second person Shivanand(998677049), took initiative and told me i will get
    connection in a week. One fine day i saw the technical team in our area
    working in installing some cables in and around. I checked with them one of
    the person in that team told me we are just installing cables, and there is
    much more work like fixing boxes etx are still pending so it may take more
    than 10days from now. I understood the situation and kept quiet for another
    10 days. After this one day some one from Reliance walked in to our building
    and said, he want to put some cable from the next road to our street. I
    really felt surprising and assumed i would be getting Internet today. But
    finally ha said thats just part tachnical team to put only cables, and the
    other person will be coming to give the connections. days passed, weeks
    passed, and the whole month passed. You know in between I again called all
    the numbers everyday to follow up on this and no one picked the call.

    November :* The same thing going on, keep on calling the mobile numbers but
    no body responded, so finally i got pissed off by this people and called the
    executive who collected the documents and cheque from me and told him all
    the above things and asked his needful, he said he cant do anything from his
    end as his work is only to collect the documents from the clients. Now where
    i should i go and check status on this?

    Some guy from Reliance called up on my mobile on may be by 20/11/09 and said
    if I am still interested in taking the connection, he will do it and give me
    rebate of Rs.100/- on 3 months bill, as its got delayed. I really felt happy
    atleast this time i would get my net. But his promise gone vain and its more
    than 10 days no updates from their end. I got these kind of calls several
    times from some landline numbers,but no body turned up and did the job.

    Today finally i walked in to the office which located in Whitefield,
    sadaramangala indl area to check with the higher authority there. But the
    security people told me to wait and some young lady came to me and asked the
    issue. I told her all the things happened with my bledy internet connection
    and she told me to wait for few minutes. She came back and said the
    connection got cancelled on last 26/11/09 because of some technical issues.
    And so they will refund my money back in another 2 weeks.

    Now you tell me did these people are seriuos at their job? If they cannot
    able to provide internet service to my place they should inform me about the
    same, but they never did it. Instead they gave 16 connections to an
    appartment located 3 streets next to my home.

    I dont know how far i can get your help, but I am sincerley request you to
    do some favor for me on this issue. This is really pathetic service I
    experienced and I lost my 300 rupees for phone calls i did in calling the
    numbers above.

    It would be really greatful if you can give it thought and make this people
    not to play with the patince of the public.
