    Default Tata photon plus

    Dear sir,

    I have been a customer of TATA Photon plus at Hyderabad. The assured speed levels were not provided to me and it was a bad experience being a customer of TATA Photon Plus. Assured download speed was 3 mbps and later they started telling "upto 3 mbps" download speed. The real truth is that I have experienced around 20kbps or 30 kbps. Later the speed came down to 10 kbps.

    Is this what TATA assured me before buying the device? I was following up with TATA customer care for 6 months. They sent their engineers to my residence but none of them were able to resolve the issues.Their level of service was very poor. I bought the TATA Photon plus USB device for Rs.3600/- but it was awaste for me to pay Rs.1000/- per month. All my attempts to customer care to increase the bandwidth proved futile. Now, I do not know what I have to do with the device. It lies waste with me of no use now. I even asked if they could take back the device and refund me the money and received an answer that could not be done.

    Hence, I did not want to pay for the bill to compensate my investment on the device. I assured TATA that I will pay the due bill amount if I am provided proper resolution. But instead of providing proper resolution, they are asking me to pay the bill. This means that TATA is not focussed to resolve customer issues or improve their service but only money minded.

    Having received a demand notice from TATA, I have approached you for a fair judgement. Kindly request to help me in this regards.

    Dear customer care,

    My Tata Indicom (Photon plus) a/c number was 904900065. I already approached TATA earlier and provided my email ID and phone number. I got no calls to my mobile number but whenever I approached through telephone or email, I only received a reply from tata that I could not be reached.

    Hence, I would like to have the entire conversation through this forum only. Please remember that I have raised many complaints through TATA customer care and also sent numerous emails to TATA, for which, no solution was provided so far. I would like to re-iterate that my Photon plus connection had speed issues. I received only 10 to 35 kbps speed only, for which when I repeatedly contacted customer care, engineers were sent to my location but nobody has provided a soln.

    For my queries, customer care replied to me that the number of users in my location / area have increased and thats the reason I am getting a low download speed. While taking the connection, I have been told that I ll be provided with 3.1 mbps download speed and that 3.1 mbps is not shared to anybody other than me. Here, I have a question.., If you share my bandwidth with others, why not share my bill with others? Since Tata is not capable of providing the committed(assured) bandwidth, I had to stop using the device and its services long ago.

    What am I supposed to do with your device that costed me Rs.3600/-? Can you please take back your device and refund me the amount ? Its really , a waste of time for me calling customer cares, arguing on the phone, spending time with the engineers whom you have sent, without any result at the end. I was at risk being your customer. I could not go for any other service provider as I had to pay your Rs.1000/- bills every month reagardless of the amount of data used.

    Now, you people have started sending demand notice from your advocate, after I have sufffered being your customer. Is it like, you people want to do business by making people suffer using your services? After facing all these issues, one day, when I called up Tata customer care for enquiring about a new photon plus connection, I have been told again that the download speed provided is 3.1 Mbps.

    However, I have also recorded all the required proofs to show your inability to provide the assured bandwidth. I have enclosed few of them with this reply.

    Please review the same and let me know if you still want me to pay the bill amount.

    Default Please answer these questions if you really want to talk about the bill...

    Dear customer care,

    I truly understand that your technical teams could not check the status but as a customer I do not know what I could do for that. All that I could do was, I thought there might be some minor issues that could be taken care by TATA and supported you people in the past, for more than 6 months as a customer, by paying the bill, raising complaints through customer care and providing all the inputs I can, hoping that the speed issue could be resolved.

    To my agony, there was no improvement rather than more slowness in the downloads.
    As you specified in your reply, I stayed back as your most valuable customer even though I faced speed issues continuously for more than a period of 6 months.

    Since you feel that I am your valuable customer and that I am being asked to pay the bill to validate my records, I believe you would find answers for my below questions before talking about the bill, going forward:

    1. What were you doing during the time when I paid the bill every month ?
    2. Why did not you validate my records and complaints at that time ?
    3. Why did not you provide resolution to the isssues faced at that time itself ?
    4. Why did you drag this issue till I stopped my payment ?
    5. Most importantly, how can you send a demand notice to me while having the issue on your end ? (I did not stop payment all of a sudden. I raised so may complaints and when there was no resolution provided to me, I had to stop my payment. What else could I do ?)
    6. Do you mean to say that your most valuable customer should always pay money to you irrespective of your negligence and inability ?
    7. Do you want me to pay money even though you do not provide your service as per agreed terms and commitment ?
    8. Why do you provide false commitments ? Does the customer agreement say anywhere that the customer has to pay bill even if TATA does not provide service as per commitment ?

    Since I have been TATA s customer, its embarrasing to me that now I had to waste my time on spending these kind of activities.
