hi there i had taken an internet connection from pacenet (mumbai) as an installation charge they took Rs1500 from me and said this includes maintainence and every month i have to pay according to the package that i take (25 Kbps - Rs-425 per month) but the speed is too slow, i am a IT software engineer so i am looking for a job for that sake i needed a 24 hour internet connection plus i needed it for education purpose to give online exams i have suffered a lot due to this pls tell me what all legal action i can take against them.

No matter what you do dont look into there eyes they hire goons who will hit you till you turn purple black or they burn the legs with lighter they will go to the lowest extent

I have a 1MB unlimited account. For the first few hours, the bandwidth flies till 128Kibps. After this there is a visible change and the account never bursts to more than 60kibps at an average. This is gross misuse and violation of the price of Rs. 1400 charged to me whereas the account operates only as a 512MB account.

Calls to the customer care are futile and they say plans means that you will get anywhere from 32 to 128, however I never see a peak of 128 ever. With maximum load as well it goes to 64kibps only.

YEah truely ......... pacenet is really bad ........ were hearing complaints from all over ...... then why shut up , keep quiet and take their shit......... why dont we all boycott pacenet.......... we should give reviews all over ... spread the news ...... not a single person should use pace net ....... seriously ........ i know ......... we may suffer for some time ....... buts thats probably very temporary.......... there ll be loads of providers waiting ......... definitely why take this shit from such a cheater........ if possible plz spread this as much as you can ........ if someone knows ne one in the press we can take their help also ........ definitely if we fight positively , it will make a difference ......... plz comment ......

Yes have already stopped using it after even sending so many mails and calls it was useless even sent my speed results they told it was local internet problem but later one of the customer told since it was on sharing u will get only half bandwith so u will get only half for what you pay

the net service is down 3-4hrs a day ... If you call pacenet they say "I'll forward the complaint, it is a local connectivity issue". Moreover such things happen when your downloading stuff ... Think about it ... you keep a 1gb game to download ... and all of a sudden when u reach 400 mb the net goes down ... ALL DOWNLOAD to waste ...

first when I took it, I was using 128kbps unlimited net ... speeds were not going past 16, when I asked my local operator that how much speed I should be getting he said 16-20, but my speed never went past 16.

If I called pacenet they'd say, 128Kbps plan so divide it by 8. thats how much ull get so 16kbps speed on downloads...

So I said fine Ill go for 256kbps ... divide it by 8 and u get 32kbps right? My ass (Sorry) 32 kbps... I get 20-23kbps on an average. THATS not all!

IF i complain to customer service that speeds are low, he firstly asks how much ur getting? I said 20-23 flux'ng ...

He says its more than perfect and you shuld be getting 16kbps, so I asked him. When I was using you said 16 kbps was max for 128 and IF I change to 256kbps ill get 28-32kbps speed...

He says according to net supply rules u shuld get half of wat you usually get ... its cause they made some new updates in their net ...

What kind of upgrades did they do? Previously we had lan connections (hub like) ...

now thats been segmented by switches ...

i have heard lot of problems form users in mumbai ,iam internet user of pacenet iam satisfied with speed nad services given by pacenet.the issue with internet is your local service provider,who dont give concentration with your problems.

Have turned to 512 kbps from 256 kbps................but i am getting same download speed (not more than 30 kbps) as it was in 256 kbps.................so whts the use of upgrading plan...............

I am paying Rs. 500/- p.m. for 256 kbps, near Malwani Church Malad west, I should be getting a download speed of 32 kbps, I get a spped as low as 5 - 9 kbps! it's ridiculously low... I feel cheated. I wish we could do something about it!

Contact to the PACENET BROADBAND customer care and register a complaint, they will provide you a complaint no. and the time frame to resolve the issue. Wait for their response and revert us back with the Complaint nos. and the status of your complaint.

Hope this may solve your problem.

^^ i've experienced all that shit in just 3-4 days..and i'm switching to something else.. but its the cable connection guys who are going to provide me with the connection..so nobody takes any responsibility..they are a piece of shit..i hope someone take a legal action against these guys

I needed a connection transfer. These guys are not providing me connection since last 15 days and these people dont pick up the phone as well.
Sunil and his team's behaviour is pathetic. The are asking too much money for connection transfer. How much should i pay for connection transfer?

I have been connected the net since 15days but download system is not working its showing like your IDM is existing & have not be ragistred for 30day.I called a office many more time but they did not gave me a proper service.so please do somthing & give me a proper information.

Since the day I took this pathetic internet connection, it is constantly going out of service. They tell you'll get a connection of 512 and take your money after that they give you only half the speed. And this is not the whole story, the internet doesn't work for 10 days in a month and when you call they dont even respond well.

in current situation, since the day I recharged my connection, the internet is down, it has been 10 days. They are not even taking my call now. Please take some action against these frauds.
