    Thumbs down Reliance Broadband - Pathetic and worst possible service stds

    This complaint is regarding my Reliance Broadband connection, Internet user id: 287276870020, Landline No.: 02230695061, Complaint No.: 151625261 (4Days and net still not working)

    There are two complaints which I would like to highlight here.
    1. Internet
    2. Landline

    1. Internet
    On 22nd April, 2011 my net all of a sudden stops working! I call to the customer care on 23rd at 12.30pm (noon) after waiting for one whole day, they say my account has been suspended due to non payment of bill which was about Rs 639. However credit limit on my account is more than Rs 2200, but still surprisingly my connection is suspended!. I immediately paid the amount while your customer care executive was on phone with me. I was promised my connectivity would resume in an hours time. The connection is yet to be restored !!!
    I called the customer again on 23rd evening (8pm) to check for the status and I am told a new story that there is some upgradation work going on around Laxmi Industrial Estate, near my house in Andheri West hence the connection is not working and would resume at 10.30pm!. After waiting the whole night I then again called them on 24th at 11.30am, now they say its some technical problem which has to be looked into, will send some one to check the connection and gave me a complaint no. which unfortunately i dint save. 25th Apr - no one turns up till 2.30pm, called up customer care again at 3pm, now he gives me another complaint no. 151625261 with a promise of resolution within 24hrs!. I called the customer support already twice till now as the deadline of 24hrs for resolution is also over. But still I am to have my problem resolved!!!

    surprisingly i do not even get a call back intimating the delay or status of my complaint !!!

    2. Landline
    Was provided with a landline connection when applied for broadband. Dint need one but the sales guy said its free so took one. Surprisingly within a couple of months handset stopped functioning! Complained about this about 8-9 months ago (cant recollect the date) but no surprises here .. no resoltion or not even a single call from customer care to check if its working! On my call with customer care on 24th April, I had highlighted this as well. But again no response / reverts on this.

    Please stop fooling around and give my money back and cancel this connection. I am actually sick of your services. A company having a name of reliance and just cheating people and charging money for no services. I surely do not want to stick to a company who has such pathetic and lethargic service standards.

    Thumbs down Complaint against reliance broadband speed & worst service

    I am amol & my user id is 368218922166. As i am complaining since last 5 months for bandwidth so that's why i am geting the slow speed. As per my 1.2 MB plan i should have to get 1000kbps speed from server but i am getting the only 0 to 500kbps. Whenever i make a complaint to reliance customer care after that only half hour speed shows satisfactory level but afterwords it again goes to slow speed IS ANY ONE CAN HELP ME OUT.

    Well not so surprising to see that even after escalation no solution till date!!! Just one call from an customer care executive on 26th April at 10pm after writing here, saying ur case has been escalated and will get a 24hr resolution.

    Can you define shortly???

    its 7 Days now, my net is still not working... not even a single courtesy call from your company. On calling customer care all we hear is we are escalating the case it shall get resolved soon. and here on consumer court you are deceiving people by writing shortly. Why dont you guys mention time frame? if your unable to solve within time frame you should give us back double rental!

    How can i escalate a complaint to consumer court for an action on Reliance?

    Its been almost 10days now and i get this same idiotic reply from the cheats. They are just cheating consumer court that they are looking into it... Its no nuclear scientific thing... its just a broadband which is not working for gods sake! 10days and counting... Horrible harrowing and disgusting...

    Consumer Court are you listening??? plz take some action on Reliance ! unless Ambani's have bribed you guys as well to turn a deaf ear

    My Reliance internet and Landline Phone is down for 10 days now. USER ID - 2902 10777 531. i have made many calls to CUSTOMER CARE who are very very CLUELESS about the whole issue and keep lying about commitments made to the customer.

    In the last 10 days i have been given fabricated stories about LAXMI INDUSTRIAL AREA, ANJUMAN BANK, FIBER OPTIC CABLE CUT etc etc etc. All these stories are nothing but hogwash and rubbish. The entire customer care team is lying on a 24 hours basis, including the seniors. The NODAL OFFICER has a number 022 303 22 222, but he is NEVER THERE. In the last one year i have never been able to speak to Mr TILAK CHATTERJEE. I wonder if he ever comes to work.

    The Billing department in the middle of this is working very efficiently.. They call many times a week to remind me how my money is so important to them, and they always remember to be very RUDE. I guess this is the style of working in an AMBANI run company -
    1. Smile and ask the customer to pay
    2. Start the service and FORGET about the CUSTOMER completely
    3. TREAT the customer BADLY, be as RUDE as you can..
    4. MAKE FALSE promises and fool the caller..
    5. NEVER NEVER RETURN any call or satisfy any customer on the phone..
    6. NEVER MAKE A COMMITTMENT..

    It is very surprising that in 2011, we still operate in this backward manner. RELIANCE is a company that is worth thousands of crores...but they CANNOT replace a fiber optic cable in 10 days. How incompetent..

    THEY should change their name to NON-RELIANCE, at least if not RUDE-THEIVES.

    Manmohan, do not expect any resolution here. This site has become more of a dummy website with no checks on the company end. the only thing u would get is ... we are sorry.... lets find a btr way to solve this for once. Leme knw if u get a resolution soon.

    My net problem is far from resolved even now after nearly a months time !
