    Angry Reliance Netconnect 3.1 Mbps_Poor Speed

    I have recently purchased Reliance netconnect and i am experiencing extremely poor connection speed which ranges from 100kbps to 350kbps. I had many sessions with reliance technical department but all in vain. They are telling me that this is an average speed so they cant register my complaint.

    Reliance is offering a maximum speed of 3.1Mbps(3174 kbps) and i am getting a maximum speed of 350kbps i.e only 11% of maximum speed. Have i purchased this connection for mere 350kbps?

    I was getting the same speed with my MTNL 512kbps plan. So what is new with this? I wanted to experience Hi-speed internet, thats why i switched to reliance but now i think that my decision was wrong.

    A person from reliance visited me and took my complaint and also told me that while working with reliance he has seen an average speed of 400kbps. I havent bought this for 400-500kbps. I wanted more speed thats why i bought a 3.1mbps connection.

    I wrote to their nodal officer also but from many sources i got to know that reliance cant give the speed that they claim to give.

    I just want my Rs.1450 back. Please help me to file a complaint in consumer court.

    Reliance is denying to refund the charges of USB modem despite of the fact that they claimed false speed. I havent used the modem. From the day 1, my connection is activated, i am complaining about the speed. Now i have terminated my connection, they are telling me that it is my property. Why should i keep it if it havent severed the purpose for which i had bought it??

    Nodal Officers are not giving any response. I need to file a complaint in consumer court. Please let me know the procedure.

    Default reliance broadband+ offering very poor speeds

    my msdn no. being 7483286292.i bought a new connection on 24th of april they offered me free usage of 10gb. i bought this connection for its unlimited usage. after 10gb usage was over i was not able to recharge for unlimited tariff. i went to the store and the staff told me my balance is negative and i should 1st recharge to have a positive balance. even after obtaining a +ve balance i was not able to recharge later they told me that my balance must never go negative. these procedures they do not inform when we buy the connection and activate it. later i call cc and they say im not able recharge for unlimited usage because my 10gb free usage is valid for a month and i cannot recharge until 30 days are over. what kind of procedures are these where i cannot avail a service for which i bought the connection. what is the use of having such a validity if usage is over. they reset my validity after repeated complaints. after a day of recharge i was not able to connect to the net and had to register another complaint. later they tell me i'm supposed to delete and re enter the same user name and password that i was connecting with and it would work and that this procedure has to be followed for every new connection and the device will not connect after a week of buying the connection and will throw errors without following this procedure. i was not informed of these procedure before when i bought the connection. these are outrageous procedures which i find in no other pre paid cellular services or net connections. now i'm experiencing very low speeds sometimes 2kbps even in the 1st 5gb usage when its in broadband+ mode. according to my tariff i'm promised upto 3.1 mbps for the 1st 5gb usage. my download mangers show speeds of 45 kbps when i call customer care they ask me to run speed tests on these websites (speedtest.in and 2wire.com). these websites show i'm receiving speeds of around 300 kbps where as the files download at 45kbps. they say the speed showing on the reliance window and my computer is wrong. they are not ready to take a complaint as cc are instructed not to take complaints about speed issues if the speed mention through the website is above 200kbps. i would have never bought this connection if i aware of such procedures. i'm not even provided with a simple password lock mechanism for the modem. since the user name and the passwords are same anyone who has access to the modem can misuse it. even the option of re sitting the password is not available. such a service is given only for gsm modems. these are simple basic security requirements and when asked for it they inform that they provide such a provision for gsm only because calls can be made through it. if these issues continue i want a refund on the modem which is useless. this is the worst service I've experienced with procedures which are useless. reliance is unreliable.

    My data card number is 9394760176.I am feed up with the response of your call centre.I have been calling you for last 15 days as my services are get getting connected. Every time I try to connect I get a error message 678”remote computer didn’t respond” .Your call centre employees give lame solutions which doesn’t work. Once they said my RSN number is not updated and asked me to go to the Reliance Web world. As I went their the RSN number was already updated. Then the next time they asked me to uninstall the reliance connect software and reinstall it and they said it will work but nothing happened. Then they asked me to try it out on a different machine as their might be problem with my computer. I did so but the same result.Then when I called up they say that the particular area which I am in has connectivity problems. I had to interact for 30 mins today but without results. And now your people say that I should go back to some other location and try and call them if I don’t get connected. Do you think we don’t anyother work but to keep on calling you. If you people cant resolve the problem of the customer even in 15 days then why are you running your services. I will be billed for the whole month without even using the service because of the pathetic after sales service. Is this the way you treat your customers. I will go to the print media and explain the problems of the people suffering with the kind of treatment you people meet out to your customers.

    Thumbs down Low speed problem in reliance netconnect+

    I Bought reliance netconnect+ 3 days ago. My number is 9382388613. I am experiencing 20-30KBps speed only. But My friends said it will come around 100KBps. I registered my complaint on 22.10.2011. Still no remedy. I expect this to be answered soon.

    YOU ALL HAVE COMMITTED THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF YR LYF (INCLUDING ME) BY PURCHASING BULLSHIT RELIANCE NETCONNECT+.

    THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY THEY HAVE LOWEST SPPED FAR MORE LOWER THAN THEY CLAIM!

    ONLY OPTION TO GET RID OF THIS PROBLEM IS QUITTING RELIANCE.

    NO ONE, NEITHER CUSTOMER CARE NOR ANY OUTLET WILL HELP U EXCEPT SHALLOW PROMISES & WORDS! "V will look into" "SPEED IN UR AREA IS LOW" "V HV NOTED UR CONCERN" BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.......

    Dear Sir,
    I have got the reliance Netconnect + last week i have used the connection and seen that i am not getting the speed more then 18 kb/s and they claim of 3.1 Mbps. what is this?
    reliance has to do something in this regard. if they are cliaming the speed to be 3.1 Mbps, why it is not coming.

    Angry Issue with speed in Netconnect +

    Hi Sir ,
    i bought a relience netconnect+ recently and am very disappointed with the speed i am getting. I am using it @ Banglore in BTM 2nd stage , very close to the main road. It also shows full network everytime i connecct the modem.
    But i am not able to get speed heigher than 20-30kbps with this connection.
    Read the above post and found many people having same issue.

    i am really not planning to stay with this connecction if i continue to get this speed with my modem. Please call me in 9986326885 for any more details.
    Tried complaining to nearby center but they seem to be not interested in persisting the customers.

    expecting some reply from u.
