This is Abdul Nayeem from Hyderabad, I got the Reliance Netconnect wireless datacard (no 9395348524) on 20/05/2009, My Plan is BrdBabd10GB_1099City (Rs 1099) , I was told and also mentioned in the brochure that I have a limit of 10GB per month and any additional usage will be charged @2Mb per limit.
My connection stopped working on 8/06/2009 and when I contacted the customer care I was shocked to know that my Bill is Rs 12000 and my services has been deactivated due to that.
1) I never Received a bill or an email or a phone call about my bill and the service was disconnected abruptly
2) I was charged for 5 GB extra usage though my plan is 10 GB per month and my actual usage is around 10 GB.
3) I was never educated by the sales representative that the bill will be calculated on pro-rata basis and usage limit is per day not per month as advised by the sales rep nor the fact was printed anywhere in their sales brochure.
Please advise as how can I go ahead and raise a complaint in the Consumer Court to get this resolved.
