    Default Airtel Broadband not disconnecting after mutiple disconnection requests since06-DEC10



    AIRTEL ACCOUNT NO. 15101197 & AIRTEL LAND LINE NO:03340631042

    I had first requested for disconnection of Airtel broadband and landline services on 06_DEC-10 with immediate effect. But after multiple calls and email follow ups, the above services have not yet been disconnected. I am still being sent the bills. I have made the full payment of the following bill

    bill no :190317283
    bill date: 18/dec/2010
    billing period: 17/nov/10 to 16/dec/10

    This means I had requested for disconnection on 06/DEC/10 and I had to pay till 16/DEC/10.

    This is not the end of my frustration. I received another bill as follows:
    Bill Number: 191312542
    bill date : 18/JAN/2011
    Bill Period:17/12/2010 to 16/01/2011

    Whenever I followed up with AIRTEL, I was provided with a brand new reference number and on top of that I am sent the bill for the period beyond 06/DEC/2010.

    This time the brand new reference number is 42154756. dated 21-Jan-2011.

    41249634 24/12/10

    I am not responsible for any Bill payment beyond 06-DEC-2010 as it was assured by airtel on 07-DEC-2010 that the services will be disonnected ASAP (ref no 1303695).

    I request Airtel to refund me the amount for the period 07/DEC/10 to 16/DEC/10 and also refund any deposit while taking the connection and close the account permanently, cancel the current bill (bill date : 18/JAN/2011) and stop sending any further Bills.

    I am forced to say that I should also be getting compensation from AIRTEL for wasting my valuable time for multiple
    disconnection requests.

    Myself pramod from Bangalore, i have a airtel broadband connection for internet . My broadband no is 08041106895. In November i filled request for termination of the connection and services , but still they have'nt responded for the same. So kindly look into the matter and i have talked to customer care also, but didnt get a proper response , thts why I am mailing in the concern to get it disconnected as early as possible.

    I am calling customer care everyday ....... but no proper response from them ,,, they are just transfering my call from one no to another .. or they will give me another no to contact , when I am calling them they are not giving proper response and in between , airtel broadband people are calling again and again to pay the bills ..... but when m telling them to disconnect the connection , no response from them ,, but when it comes for the payment of bill , they are calling again n again with increased amount of bill .... But why should i pay the bill , when i have already filled a request in November .... then ders is no point in paying it now after three months .....

    On 25th feb'12 i have filled my request here (as i am new here,didnt know about it earlier), and got confirmation message saying my request has been resolved on 7th march 2012. but still
    I am getting calls from Airtel people and this time they are threatening and talking very rudely for the payment of the bill ..... but from the above replies its been confirmed that my connection got disconnected, so why should I pay the bill when i have already applied for disconnection in Nov'11 itself. Kindly look into matter as soon as possible. And this time if possible give me a reference no as a proof.
