    Angry The're Cheating - Tata Photon Plus

    I purchased Tata Photon Plus (9278711035) for RS. 2500/- on 27th October, 2010 and from the day one I'm getting the speed problem! I'm getting 20-30Kbps download speed, while promised a whopping 3.1Mbps!!!
    I lodged many a complaints against the following docket numbers since then.
    Every time they gave me a new time frame and then closed my complaints without getting my concent that whether I'm satisfied with the explaination or not! They kept on saying that a new tower is being stalled. And when I asked why should I wait the tower installation? Why should I suffer for their lack of services? Why not they refund my money and keep their product back? The reply came--The product is yours as you paid full payment, its non-refundable!!!!!!!!!
    I need an answer for the same. Isn't it my right to get my money back when they're not able to provide the promised services?
    These are a few of the docket numbers:

    Though their engineers visited (at least 4 times) and they also agreed that there's a problem and it could only be resolved if they install a device at my premises. I asked for the device to customer care but they kept on delaying it.
    I got three bills in-between which I opposed as I was not getting the services then why these bills? A punishment for my purchasing their bakwaas product?
    On my insistence they've given me negligible waiver on my first two bills instead of writing-off the whole bill. They also charged me for the usage (which was mainly done by their engineers to check the speed) while I'm using unlimited plan (Shouldn't only rental be applicable when using an unlimited plan?)!!
    Now, today when I contacted the nodal officer, I'm not allowed to talk directly my Delhi nodal officer, Mr. Manoj Semwal, istead some other fellow on his behalf talked to me and when I told him my problem, he said your connection is deactivated due to non-payment of bills, first you pay bill then complain. When I opposed that why should I pay bills when I'm not getting the promised services and thats too due to their shortcomings, he replied that none of their engineers quoted any problem at my premises!!!!!!!! Now thats a shock!
    He further added that the parameters they've recorded are just fine and I should be getting a speed of 1300Kbps. I said that I'm not getting that speed. Then he changed his words and said that I'm getting 300Kbps of speed which is fine. I said I'm not getting even that and if suppose I'm getting it too then also its not the promised speed! He replied, 3.1Mbps is the maximum speed otherwise its 300Kbps which is fine and perfect! I said, I'm not told at the time of purchasing that it'll be 300kbps that I'll get ultimately and its a cheating at their part, he said its the policy of the company to provide only 300kbps average!!!
    I suffered a lot due to their cheating for the last three months, Now I want my 2500/- back...thats all.

    With your above assurance, customer care did contacted me within a few hours wide docket no. 250877799 and it is closed as soon because the representative wanted me to clear my bills first before taking any action!!!! What a shame! First I should pay for your non-service and then you'll resolve my problem and services!! What a shameless joke...
    She (the customer care representative) also added that they could provide only so much services that I'm getting because they can't provide better service at my area!!!!
    They should have cleared it on the very first day about the incapability of speed services at my area.Shouldn't they've?

    I wasted 2500/- on your product and now you want me to waste another bunch of money thats too when you're incapable to rectify my problem to my satisfaction? Whats the guarantee that once I pay your bill, my problems will be rectified when two of your representatives (one from Delhi nodal office and another from customer care) clearly mentioned that this is the ultimate speed which I could ever get at my area?
    This is not the way to resolve the problem on your own terms when you're at mistake. The problem is due to your incapability to provide better services, so why should I be asked to clear my dues first? You should first resolve my speed problem, put device, as suggested by your engineers who visited my premises or simply refund my amount which I wasted on your product.
    If you commit to put the device at my premises to boost the speed then I'm ready to clear the dues but only after you resolve my problem to my satisfaction otherwise a big NO to the bills and if you're not going to do anything in this regard, then put a complete stop of your device so that no further unnecessary bills be raised

    Default They are cheating my TATA Photon Plus bandwidth speed

    Hi,

    I have purchased my Tata Photon Plus 9212486578 in the month of Sept 2011 at a price of Rs. 5,000 including the device charges, as part of six months subscription plan (3.1Mbps). I was promised to get full speed up to 5GB download limit. Unfortunately, I never got a speed over 512kbps for a long time. After repeated complaints to TATA's customer care, they temporarily revised my speed to 1Mbps, which was again very unstable. I was struggling to browse the internet, and downloading has been a nightmare for me. Their customer care and technical support team, both are useless in resolving my bandwidth issue. They have been both incompetent and irresponsible in gaiving lame excuses every time I complain. Kindly help me in getting my issue resolved. I want my money back, if they can't resolve the bandwidth issue. I want the full speed of 3.1Mbps as advertised...

    Dear Mr. Vinod,

    We would like to inform that, you have crossed usage limit on 24-oct-11. Hence, the speed has been limited to 155Kbps. Please be informed that, the speed will be restored to 3.1Mbps from the next billing cycle that is 13-nov-11.

    Default Chopping bandwidth by illegal means...

    Hi,

    I very well know that crossing 5GB limit will reduce my download speed to 155kbps. I am not as dumb as your customer care team... Please read my issue carefully for god sake! I do not want to hear crap excuses for not giving me full bandwidth (3.1Mbps speed), before I had used my 5GB quota. Right now, I am not even getting 155kbps download speed. It is stuck around 60 to 70 kbps. Why are you talking trash with me? You stupid useless people. Read what I am saying first... and then argue with your pathetic excuses. I want the 155kbps right now and full 3.1Mbps from Nov 13th. Else, please refund my money, as I don't have time for hearing shit from you guys...

    No thanks for your pathetic service!
