    Default Airtel false retention and false billing

    Dear Sir / Madam,

    I had a connection from Airtel (0129-4157584) for which I raised a request to get the connection canceled in Mar'10.
    Someone from their Retention department made a false statement and they kept sending me bill for my connection.

    I had a dispute with them regarding the same which got resolved somewhere in Aug'10 (Took 3 months to get resolve).

    And now again I got a bill for my connection for the month of Dec'10. When contacting Airtel Customer Care I got a very SILLY response that I raised the request to get the broadband deactivated not the telephone line (Someone ask them then what about the bills for the period of Aug-Nov and I also have an email where it is clearly mentioned about the cancellation of Airtel connection).

    I wish I could have reach you when it come to my notice that they made false statement and retained my account.


    It is such a big mental harassment and become a nightmare to me. I am suffering due to the Airtel mistake.
    I'm not the only customer who is being harrased by them. Seeking your help in this matter.

    Hi Rajesh,

    Thanks for your considerations BUT I don't understand why Airtel is not taking it seriously.

    Now I got a call from your department and I was surprised to hear this new story.

    The person said that I raised a request to get the line reactivated in November end thats the reason I am getting the bill for December.
    To show me the proof he didn't have any reference reqeust no. or recording. Why would I like to associate again with a company with which I had a very bad experience.
    He raised a request for deactivation of my account. I don't think that I am liable to pay any amount.

    Then I got a call from Retention Deptt. for retaining my account again. I refused the proposal and he said that he is forwarding my request for deactivation. Again next day I got a new call from
    retention deptt. and this person also said that he will forward my request for deactivation.

    Please look into this matter ASAP and also I am expecting to get one last WRITTEN communication from Airtel that my account has been deactivated with nothing due on me.

    Hi,

    If my request is considered then Why I am getting calls from your billing and retention department. I am getting sick of receiving calls from your retention/billing deptt.

    Please ask them not to make any call to me.

    Hi,

    Once again I got an SMS from Airtel to pay the bill for the month of Jan'11.

    I don't know what is going on. Why Airtel is harrasing me.

    Why don't you completely resolve this issue ? I need this to be resolved ASAP.


    Dear Administrator,

    What else proof is needed to prove that Airtel is harassing me . In the above statement they said that the problem is resolved and once again they send the bill for Jan'11.
    I need an appropriate action against them.
