I used a reliance broadband service since 5 months in Bangalore. After using for a few months I requested them to disconnect the service. Instead they suggested me to change the ownership of the connection to any of our neighbours.
After many days with several mails from my side, Reliance finally changed the billing name to my neighbour's. After all this the physical connection has still not been removed from my house and because of that my neighbour is also not able to use the connection.
I have sent several emails to either transfer the physical connection or disconnect the service. I have also sent a mail by registered post to their office. But they never responded to them and no action has been taken so far. I have been recieving the bill for the past 3 months without anyone using their service.
When ever I call the customer care, they are asking us to pay the full amount. Now my neighbour is getting the bill with no physical connection. Reliance people are sending the recovery people to us for paying the biill and are troubling us to the core.
I have stopped using the connection by Oct 2008, but they are asking us to pay the entire amount from October till december. Now they are telling that they have suspended the connection but we are still geting the bills.
Kindly Help me on this concern
