I started using tata photon+ from Dec 19th 2009 at Chennai. I find that speed is very less.Even though full range is present it takes lot of time to open up new sites, voice keepsdragging during voice call, video image gets blurred and stuck during video call,in between gets disconnected on its own.Please suggest a better way and reply ASAP.

We had brough Photon+ on 30-11-2009 with plan of Rs. 1000/- which included 2 GB day time free and 10 GB at night. Since i work in bank and usually come late after 9 pm. One day suddenly i got SMS that my usage has increased some limit of Rs 2500/- and I have to pay some minimum amount of RS. 1300/- to activate the same. On calling customer care , i was not given any clariifactions on usage and the bill raised.
There was no clarification on usage since i was doing normal surfing if at all. 2 GB usuage free i dont know how they calculate
Calculation of bill was not explained by customer care.
Services were deactivated without prior informing, What about the loss of free GBs access?
Where can i check my usuage thresh hold limit?
I find it TATA photon as money making company which zero services in terms of clarification.
i purchased this useless photon+ device for Rs.3000/= on 20th Februart 2010. It subsquently got activated on 23rd February 2010 at around 6pm. I had opted for a monthly rental plan of Rs.1100 which ,as per reports from your outlets, has a free usage of 10GB.I work in a Bank and hardly get time for using this funny device. one fine morning i received an sms regarding crossing of credit limit which was followed by a phone call from ur CC Executive. the services were stopped on 4th March 2010 and an bill amount ,unbilled of Rs.5500+ was received. It is totally ridiculous and i wonder how u people calculate these FRAUD bills. My month is nearly over and i have wasted all my free GBs supposed to be free with the plan as i hardly would have crossed 6GB mark. HELL WITH ALL THIS NONSENCE U R A BUNCH OF CHEATERS SITTING BACK THERE AND ..........Resolve my issue , give me cashback else i will be compelled to reach highest authorized person.
I bought a Tata Photon + on 31st July 2009 having number 9230040689 9230040689 and account number 934185426.
After using the photon I found that speed is very very low. I contacted customer support they gave me various settiing but couldnot increase the speed. The speed I was getting was in the range of 100 to 300 kbps. This was tested from the website provided by Tata support executive. The complaint was registered vide email on august 10 2009 vide docket number 184342283.
Various executive visited my house, changed various setting in the computer but could not increase the speed. They checked with 2-3 computers at various locations in house and even used their own laptop to check but of no avail.
On complaining to nodal office on august 11 2009 he closed the call informing me that speed between 256 kbps to 600 kbps is Ok. and had no explanation why my Photon is working so slow.
On appealling to to Applleate Authority vide no. 193074549 dated 14th October 2009 I am yet to receive any answer.
I hv stopped using the connection and is running around to get my refund from the comapny, for this expensive white elephant where the ad claims speed upto 3.1 MBPs but comapny says it is not possible.
Now they are only asking for the bill which they have generated without solving the problem. The 3 bills I have already paid without getting any service, they are silent about it. The complaint to Nodal Office and Apellate Authority is still pending.

I Have connection if Tata Photon Account No 977089703 , I have purchaseon 15 March 2010 and activated on 20 March 2010. i got Bill on 7 April 2010, But during purchase of this Tat Photon net connection , Tat Office confimred 2 month no billing cycle is there and also 2GB free, even though i got Bill is more, I have paid bill cause of this isse, and Pune office is not rsponding to case thay at all ignore same issue,

I have serious complaints about customer care of tata photon+ ,The call dosent connect to the executive till 20-30 mins no matter its a peak time or not,Reply from Nodal officer Suguna Shetty is "sorry its a tower related problem and hence we are helpless ".Next time I call her office n i m still trying to get connect since last 3 days and i hope the process will keep on going ,I am confident that she will definately improve the time of response from current 3 days to next time it may take 30 days .

I am also a victim of this loot.
Goes without saying that I too am facing similar issues. Writing to the big wigs helped to some extent Bills got arbritralily reduced, though the payable amount was also considerably high. viz. a Rs 10,000/- (apprx.) bill got reduced to Rs 4,000/- etc. Very easily got email addresses and telephone nos. of bigwigs by Googling. I have been using this for last one year. They also messed up my tariff plan. Initially I could not make out what was going wrong and thought I failed to read the finer prints in their offer (Plan) and paid through my nose. I am in Patna. I recently got my Plan changed (with lot of difficulty) to Unlimited Plan 950 (where they give you high speed HSIA of 2GB free and beyond that slow speed CDMA unlimited), thus restricting your bill to 1400/- pm apprx., whatever you do. Their entire billing process is designed to cheat.
I am fully convinced that TATA has made a corporate policy to fool and cheat their Photon+ customer. I am not sure how much they have looted through this policy, and whether they can be taken to task and looted amount returned to the respective affected customers.
i have purchased a vodafoneusb data card INR 6999 plan. when i was purchasing it the seller promise me that the data download speed would be 40 kbps to 50 kbps. but till now it gives me download speed 5kbps to 10 kbps. regarding this problem i have complaint many time to the vodafone customer care but now they are saying me that the speed is normal.

if i payed that money to bsnl, tata photon i could got 127 kbps speed approximatly but vodafone chit me saying their product is mobile broadband which is absoluitly false statement.
