    Angry Tata Photon - Very Low Speeds and pathetic service

    Hi,

    I recently took a new Tata Photon postpaid connection - 5GB Unlimited with 3+ MB speed. However, the speed that I am getting from day 1 is 35 to 156 KB. I had specifically taken the connection as I had holidays during the last week of December. I am told by the customer support of Tata that there is a problem in Pune (where i reside) and it would be rectified by 1st Jan 2011. Before taking the connection no body cared to inform me about this problem. The CS Team also informed me that there would be no reduction in the billing due to the low speeds. This is very disappointing....For people who are intending to take a new internet connection, let me warn you....PLEASE DO NOT GO FOR TATA AND GET DUPED.

    I do not expect any help coming from the TATA team and I regret my decision. Can someone please help as I already spent Rs.2400 for buying the stupid modem.

    Despite your assurance nothing has happend. No one from your team has assisted so far. I raised another complaint with your customer service 2 days back (Complaint #: 249069913) and was promised assitance within 12 working hours but nothing happend so far. I demand that my money is given back to me or else I will sue you for sure. You cannot just take people for ride with your false advertisements. Please refund my money immediately and take back your useless instrument (wireless modem).

    Default Very Low Speed and Pathetic Service for TATA Photon - All Over India !

    Here is the sequel for the Tracing of Issue and followup which can really COST Us Heavy - but TATA Photon - do not Bother about it at all !

    I am really surprised to see the apathy and poor understanding and handling of issues !
    We strongly recommend - NO One should Subscribe Such Services - and they should be forced to Shut DOWN !

    I am putting this Trail - If TATA can deny the Complaint - with all details for the Case !

    I am still not able to get the site vpn.cityoftacoma.org or vpn1.cityoftacoma.org or vpn2.cityoftacoma.org from TATA Photon Connections, all over India.

    Although I am getting calls that it is done but when tested gave the same result as page can not be displayed.

    One Improvement is now I am able to reach it using the IP Address for the 2 Links url 192.103.238.34 & url 192.103.238.37

    The Complaint was launched on Friday 31th Dec 2010 !

    And only words still some more time – some more time??????



    Wait till 2-3 months for SPEED Issue – Am I not going to get Charged for the 3 months as per High Speed charges ?

    Is it not Deficiency in Service? Can it only be addressed through Consumer Redressal Forum !

    At present, we are troubled with multiple Issues, which makes us unable to complete our Activities, using TATA Photon Plus Data Card Connections.


    Two Major Issues faced by me and all my colleagues using Photon plus Cards


    1. Customer Site vpn.cityoftacoma.org vpn1.cityoftacoma.org or vpn2.cityoftacoma.org not accessible for any Photon Users, whereas it works from other connections.

    This Issue is troubling all over India – for the Team.

    I need around 20 people in my team to work with this URL for Customer Support.

    2. Very Slow Response for Internet though it claims to be 2GB under HSIA TTML 2GB@500 Plan


    Please look into this on Urgent basis and provide some resolution, else we do not have a choice but to shift to Alternate Service Provider.

    Your Site for Customer Care itself is not usable and spent more than half an hour to Register a Complaint – after which Finally I am writing this mail.

    please help me with the connectivity of tata photon in f-99 patel nagar 3rd gahziabad (u.p) every time i call up and ask for speed issues they always reply back that it will be shortly resolved but it didnt happens i am very dissapointed with the services and the connectivity... please help me with this regard.... you can contact me on 8802681484

    At present, we are troubled with multiple Issues, which makes us unable to complete our Activities, using TATA Photon Plus Data Card Connections.

    Default Pathetic TATA photon+ - Cheating clients with false claims.

    Hi, I bought a new tata photon+ two days back (number 9225020128). Since then I am trying to register myself on the website, it keeps telling me " you haven't changed your initial pin". I never got an initial pin. The customer care number always remains busy. Now coming to connection, its totally pathetic. How can TATA even claim of giving a speed of 3.1Mbps? My photon+ application shows full signal strength and still a simple ICMP ping to DNS server fails. The kinds of claims TATA makes are absolutely misleading, cheating people with such claims is sheer breach of business conduct.

    i had bought tata photon connection 4 days back, i'm totally irritated with this slow connection. since 4 days i'm trying to open my gmail account but it taking hours to open and atlast its not opening, y should u selling these type of useless devices to people. its better to beg rather that to cheat like this. if i try to open my facebook accout its takes 30minutes minimum to open and the disconect with in 2 minutes. my photon number is 9247541504. i read before complaints kept by others and i got to know that even reply from coustemer care for complaints also very worest, for all complaints there is only only only one reply ( Greetings from Tata Indicom!
