I am really appaled at the kind of services provided by Reliance Communications. I have incurred huge losses due to unprofessionalism of a few of you employees.
I brought Reliance Communication Netconnect Broadband(9323 564035) services on September 18, 2010. I was promised that the service would be activated by 6 pm in the evening. However after constant followup, and a few calls my connection was activated by 9 pm.
I immediately got a call from a Reliance executive in the following week to confirm the details of my plan. I discovered that against my plan was updated wrongly, I had requested a plan of Rs 499 Rental and 512 MB free download. The plan that was updated was Night Free Plan for Rs 499 Rental. I requested the executive to make the necessary changes and revert back once the changes have been made.
I never got any reverts from the executive, however I got my first bill with the wrong plan. The bill amounted to Rs 1766. I had to call up the call center and get the charges reversed. The executive on the phone apologised and informed me that the necessary changes will be made.
I got a call from Reliance informing me that the necessary changes have been made and i had to pay Rs 160 only. I made the payment on 6th October 2010 for Rs 160 and got a recepit ( AM 12437919). The recepit had my details but the name was incorrect. The name on the receipt was some Ms Roshni Tata.
On 22nd October without any notification my services were discontinued. I have incurred a huge loss due to this as i could not access the market before trading hours.
I called up the call center immediately who asked me to visit the Reliance Web World. It was not possible for me to visit the web world and i asked them to activate my services. The executive initially declined but i asked him to transfer the call to his superior.
The call was transfered to Ms Siddhi Patil, who told me the same thing but promised me that my services would be activated and that she will call me and inform me about the same. I never got a call from Ms Siddhi Patil. This kind of service is really unprofessional.
On 23rd October i visited the Reliance Web World of Borivali East, and asked an explaination for the same. The executive there informed me that the payment is not reflected in the system. I transfered the receipt over the pen drive to the executive there. He was clueless why such a thing was happening
Meanwhile a female executive came there and asked me to pay Rs 70 so that my services would not be disconnected. I told the executive that i wont make any payments. She then agreed that there was some glitch in the system and informed me that the issue will be resolved. Even she promised me to call back once the issue was resolved.
I informed her that even the call center promised me to call back and they never did. She replied back saying that we are not like them and i will call back. The irony was even she never called back. Her attitude was little to be desired.
On 23rd October, there was guy from Reliance at my residence asking me to make the payment, I called up at the Borivali Reliance Web World and asked that guy to speak to the executive there.
In the evening of 23rd October 2010, I got a mail saying that payment was done directly, I was a little clueless about this. I only hoped that the problem would be solved.
I got my bill for the month of October 2010, there was a late payment charge of Rs 50. I called up the call center and after fighting it out with them got the charges reversed.
On November 4, 2010, I made a payment of Rs 710 towards the bill of October 2010. I got the receipt again (AM 12756131) in the name of Ms Roshni Tata. I was really furious and called up the call center, the executive informed me that the payments done via internet take at times 2 days to reflect.
I realised that the Reliance Web World had not done their job and my issue was not resolved. I lodged a complaint against the Web World. Little did I know that Reliance is such a unprofessional organisation. No action was taken and the complaint was closed with informing me.
On November 15, 2010, I called up the call center and spoke to Mr Viren and told him that i fear my connection would be disconnected and asked him to get the issue resolved. He was clueless and told me not to worry.
On November 27, 2010, my connection was again disconnected. Again i could not access the market and again i incurred huge huge losses. I was really furious and called up the call center. The executive there intially refused to activate my service. I asked her to transfer my call to her senior. Again it was Ms Siddhi Patil who received the call and she had no answer as to why the problem was not solved. She had no answer to anything i asked. I asked her why she dint not call me after activating my services. She had no answer to anything. She only apoligized
I asked her to transfer the call to her senior. I spoke to Mr. Bharat Shetty, who promised to look into the matter. But I did not get any reverts as yet from him.
I even visited the Nodal Officer Mr. Tilak Chaterjee @ BKC on 29th November, who accpeted there was some error in their system and hence the error.The nodal officer provided a temporary solution and promised me that a permanant solution will be provided.He provided me his direct number. I tried calling him, he never picked up.
After not getting any revert from the nodal officer I called up the Appelate Officer, who couldnt solve my problem.
All this week I have been getting calls from Reliance Communication asking to make the payment. I have no idea what payment they are asking now. The people calling have no manners to speak and are highly unprofessional. I demand a written apology from Reliance Communication wish to close down the connection I am really furious about the way Reliance Communication is handling their customers.
I request you to take action against all the executives because of whom i had to incur huge losses and get my issue resolved at the earliest. I want to close down my account and a refund of the amount i paid for the modem.
