Default Bangalore - Horrible experience in getting a NEW Aritel Broadband connection.

I recently moved from Chennai to Bangalore. I wanted to get Airtel Broadband Connection (under Corporate plan) at my home.

Initially I logged a request in Airtel.in website and no body from Airtel contacted
    me for next few days.

    Later I approached a Airtel Executive T L Reddy with mobile nos- 99455 72932, 78991 66555. (thru Ad posters).

I filled the forms on 15th Nov'2010, provided copy of ID Proof, Address Proof Documents and paid Rs 500 by cash for Installation Charges.
Once he visited my apartment, *confirmed* the feasibility of the connection and promised to get it UP and running in Two days time.

On 17th Nov'2010, T L Reddy gave me the Mobile No of Mr. Vikas and asked me to talk to him. Vikas never responded to my calls.

Since 17th Nov' 2010, T L Reddy stopped responding to my phone calls.

Later I contacted 080-4555-4444 . Customer Care confirmed that they could NOT find the Appln form No in the system and they
took down a complaint on 19th Nov'2010 and promised a Action with in 24 hrs.

Then Technical Support from 080-41285262 called me. He said they don't have FREE DSLAM Port and it would take a 3 to 4 days to fix some of the faulty ports.
He promised to confirm the same by Monday - 22nd Nov'2010.

    And I decided to wait.

On Saturday - 20th Nov'2010, T L Reddy again called me and said my appln form was NOT taken by Airtel as there was a *Signature Mismatch*.
And he collected another set of ID Proofs and a Photograph. Surprisingly he did *not* fill another Appln form which should have been done ideally
to make sure that the signature is correct. He said he had confirmed the feasibility by calling a TOLL Free Number and promised a Connection
by Monday - 22nd Nov'2010. He also agreed to return the Rs 500 at 8 pm on 22nd Nov'2010 if the connection was NOT up by that time.

In short, I got TWO different reasons for the DELAY in getting the Broadband connection.

On Monday - 22nd Nov'2010 - No body from Airtel contacted me / visited my home.
T L Reddy did *NOT* respond to any of my calls. I sent him a SMS and he did NOT call me back.
Around 9 pm, when I contacted 080-4555-4444 . Customer Care confirmed that they could NOT find the Appln form No in the system yet.

Finally on 24th Nov'2010, they came and did the installation. Since I bought a 3rd party Wifi ADSL Mode, I asked the Executive to provide the Username and Password in a sheet. He did the same and left.
The Username and password never worked. After spending good one hour, I called the Customer care only to find that the Login details -both Username and Password are WRONG.

Horrible experience. I didn't expect such a unprofessional work from Airtel executives.
