I started using BSNL last yr(August 2008) but ever since then i've had series of woes which BSNL never cares for.
for example last month, i didnt have link for 98 hrs :&(well i keep a tab whenever i have internet disconnection)
The problem is so frequent, i.e. 3 days ago i didnt have internet link from 1 AM to morning 6 AM
y'day i didn't have it from 12 AM to 6 AM
today i had an internet disconnection from 8 PM till 10 PM.
Inspite of complaining repeatedly the problem persists(been doing it ever since i got the connection)
The problem has persisted over an yr now. And inspite of repeated complaints, it has not been rectified.
As of the customer service, the hotline number: 1500 gets disconnected mid way every time someone calls, and the problem persists not just with my telephone number but also with other telephone numbers. Authorities have been promising to rectify it since last 1 yr.
The attitude of the authorities is pathetic. They never really care and sometimes shout back at you for complaining.
To add more to the woes, Sundays and on other holidays, no customer service is available i.e. if you have some problem with your internet you'll have to wait till the next working day for getting it rectified.
Till date all my complaints had to be lodged directly at the office of the SDO, either through telephone or personal visit.
I have a 256 kbs unlimited connection
and come under the Cuttack district circle of BSNL's Orissa Circle.
