    Post Airtel Broadband connection close problem

    Dear,
    my name is lalit kumar and i had a airtel broadband connection 0129-4160635. i requested first connection closing on 7th july 2010 and i have requested many times for connection close on airtel 121 service but everytime they hold my connection while i have refuse many times. i have paid all dues till connection closing and this month i got bill. please help for this issue.

    Default Airtel BroadBand : Incorrect bill & failure in closing connection on request.

    Hi,

    I'm having an airtel broad band connection with a 799/- unlimited plan.
    I was out of station and didn't used the internet for more than 2 months before June 2011.
    In june, when i came back, the internet was not working and i requested for the checkup. They didn't take care for more than a week.
    So, i wanted the connection closed after settling the pending bill of 2818/-
    Then the airtel agent came to our home and said sorry for not responding to the connectivity problem quickly and convinced us to give a month of waiver for not using the internet connection more than 2 months. He called to the backend guys in front of us and said, the waiver is sanctioned. All we need to pay is 1981/-. He said, next month onwards, we will get the normal bill of 799/- + tax. This happened on June 11. Also, in the same request, we have asked for updation of mobile number change. which didn't happen

    Then in July I received a bill of 1467/- instead of the 799/-. When i requested for the same on phone, they said, there is no waiver approved in the backend. so, they have not given us the full waiver. I asked them to check with the agent who has told the details to us. and also requested, why they have taken 1981/- and promised to give normal bill when i was asking for the connection closure in June itself.
    So, i raised a complaint again on 25th July with request number 1246854, asking for the reason why the waiver is not applied and also closure of the connection. They said they will look into that and call back in 1/2 days.

    I didn't get any call till 28th, so , i called them back on 28th july to find out the status. This time the call is disconnecting automatically when i was speaking to them on the issue. atleast 4-5 times it has happened. Finally after several requests, i could get hold of a person from the cancellation team who asked me for the reason to drop out and told me that after the waiver, the balance i have to pay is 568/- instead of 1467/-, Due to some technical reasons the waiver is not applied properly. and also offered a less package plan to continue further. This time also, I have clearly mentioned, that i am done with it and i want my connection closed as per the previous requests. They have mentioned, it will be taken care and their team will call me back in 1/2 days. The request number for this day call is 1417784

    Till now , i didn't get any call from them. Also, i believe, they might be on their plans to give one more bill to me.
    They have put me a lot of mental torture. that i stopped using the internet connection at home in july as soon as i saw the bill of 1467/-.

    They can check the data usage in the records on the same.

    All i request is close this connection with proper bill as early as possible.

    Hi Mr Rakesh Ranga,

    Again after 5 days from registering my complaint, today i received a call from Meenu Yadav from 09717894315 5 mins before asking for the concerns with the airtel broadband i have.
    I requested her to check the complaint numbers that i have raised earlier. She has come back saying, there are 2 complaints one on 25th & other on 28th. She also told that it will take 0-7 days for closure of the connection which she mentioned she will take care from now on and resolve till the billing issue is settled.
    now the new request number for today's discussion is 2103858.

    The numbers are just increasing.. but there is no resolution so far. I hope you will take quick action on this.

    Dear Airtel,
    The Problem is not yet solved , no agent has come to my home for disconnection of the broad band connection. And none of the airtel person has called to resolve my billing issue pending since July 25th under request numbers 1246854, 1417784, 2103858.
    Is anyone looking into this.. ?
    Pls do an action as early as possible.
    I will be leaving the city before this month end., if you don't settle the issue then, i am not responsible for any loss of yours.

    My airtel landline no. is 40148464. Airtel had disconnected my broadband & landline connection on January 2011. He wanted me to migrate to a higher data plan from my 512kbps one. I didn't , so he reduced my download speed to an unusable 2-3KB/s and then shut down my connection on January 2011. My connection has been disconnected ever since and Airtel still keeps sending me bills. From January to August they kept on calling me on my mobile twice and thrice daily asking me to pay the bills of the months which they disconnection my connection. They harrased my on my mobile asking me to pay the bills of the months in which they disconnected my connection. On 21st August 2011 , I got a call from Airtel saying that they are ready to re-activate my connection if I select a higher Broadband plan. Airtel also agreed to waive my outstanding which I have never used since they disconnection on January 2011. They sent their employee on 23rd August , I filled out a form , selected a Downloader 20gb plan worth Rs.1099 , 1mbps till first 20gb and 512kpbs post data transfer limit Unlimited connection. Airtel said that their engineer would visit my house and reconnect my re-activate my broadband and landline within 2 working days and I haven't heard from Airtel ever since , 15 days have passed . All I got yesterday was an Airtel Bill despite of Airtel promising me to waive my outstanding bill from January 2011 - the month from which they have disconnected my connection !. Oh and on a side note one of their bill recovery boys had told me that airtel does this to all customers and that Airtel will not re-activate my connection.
    I am a member of the Mumbai Grahak Panchayat and my Registered no. is F - 7000 .

    Hi,

    This is Sanjay Arora. I was using the Airtel Broadband connection from last two years but when I tried to disconnect the connection in August as I was getting the better option and informed Airtel people to disconnect it. They agreed to disconnect but said first I have to pay my remaining payment and when I paid that amount they again tried me to fascinate to continue the connection rather than taking the action on my request. I was very much pissed off attending calls on regular basis so I said I'll think about it then again I called them to disconnect and I called several times but nothing happened.
    For last two months even they have stopped providing my broadband and landline facility but still they are charging me and my bill amount is increasing by every month. Hence I am completely disagreed the way Airtel is providing it's services and customer service seems to be the least concerned area. Now I don't feel like I was associated with any Brand but I was forcefully bound to retain by Goons. I want this problem to be sorted out as soon as possible and I won't want to take any Airtel services in future too.

    My name is Snehal Vishwakarma and my broadband and telephone no. is 022 40161868.
    My line is dead from nearly 1 months & am complaining daily for it but still there is no response from your support/Technical Department. Which is Not acceptable from my side as this issue is being carried on from that past one month.

    I have incurred a decent Loss due to my dead line/connection. I am getting only one reply from customer care that your complaint has forwarded but problem not solved.

    And furthermore to the concern today i got bill from airtel in which you guys charged me for which i have not used for the last month because of issue from your side.

    Can you please take fast action and solve the problem ASAP.

    Also would appreciate if you could give me an explanation for the above concern of mine.

    And please adjust my bill for the days i have not used. And also dont charge for the days in future were i haven't accessed the phone & Broadband due to dead connection from your side

    Awaiting your Quick response and Action.

    Hello sir/madam,

    I reside at jayanagar 4th block,bangalore. I have taken airtel broad band connection in the month of august 2011 . Initially i made the connection request through your airtel brokers. His name is murali. His phone num is 9743017882. In the month of december i requested him to close my airtel connection. He told he will do it. And next day i got the connection close confirmation call from airtel .. I said them to close the connection. Then i returned to my home town,andhrapradesh. TOday i got a mail from airtel saying that i have not paid my airtel broadband connection bill from past 3 months.. and now the due is 3500rs. I did all the things to close the connection last december. i called airtel and told them that i made a connection closing request and now i got the bill after 4 months.. They are not responding correctly. They told they gonna proceed legally . So please consider my request and please take appropriate actions on the airtel broker i have mentioned above. I had so much respect for airtel and now its all gone. Because airtel people closed my connection long back and now sent me the bill and warning me that they will make legal proceedings. I will take this seriously and lodge a complaint on the airtel broker.. Thanku... Please mail me with the solution
