I had an airtel broadband connection in college (08232-402595) which I asked to be disconnected in mid june. Airtel people came and collected the hardware after clearing the bill and put the same in the adjacent house. I left the town soon after. To my horror, I got a call from an advocate from Delhi court dat a case is being registered on me by airtel for not clearing the bill and asked me to clear the bill within an hour to stop the case from being registered. I didn't want to have a record, so went to the airtel office and paid a sum of Rs. 3000 and also complained to the incharge over there. He told that airtel will get back to me.
Later, a call back manager named Rafeek called me regarding the complain. He appolozised and told that he will get the money refunded. Its been around a month now and no one has got back to me. Also whenever i call customer care, they cut the call after putting me on hold.
