Airtel Broadband Complaint I would like to know what can be done once the service provider says that the connection is terminated, they take all the devices but fail to close the customer case.
I am having a harrassed time with Airtel Broad band service for excessive billing in the first place.
When I got frustrated and immediately asked for disconnection, they bought an excessive billing chart which shows usage even when no one was at home.
After negotiations the final amount to be paid was agreed upon and paid. The representatives failed to close the case and are harassing me for payment of dues once again.
Whom should I be approaching for redressal in this case?
Please help.

Am quite surprised that there is no response from anyone on this?
Is this not a dispute when the vendor agrees to settle the bill and still keeps sending the bills and asking for payment? Can someone assist me to know whom to approach in this case?Is consumer court dead or only addresses lack of service levels and not actual disputes?
The supervisor on the call and the person who came to collect the money repeatedly assured that it is the final settlement and it is not done.
Will approaching the nodal office help in this case?
Request some guidance from users and if Airtel Customer Care is looking at this would appreciate an early reponse.
What should be my next step even if consumer court is not responding to my queries? Should I conclude there is no support for consumers in India?

Hello Rakesh,
Thank you for the response but I have not heard from anyone in Airtel. Hence I have to say that this is still unresolved as of now.
Once again your response is highly appreciated.
Regards,
Jay
