    Default TATA indicom Broadband complaint

    Hello

    I am Shahenaz, a resident of Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

    I am a customer of TATA indicom broadband internet connection since November 2008.

    My username is sasarfani@vsnl.net

    Instially the net worked fine for the first 4 months and then the problem started.

    My net get disconnected very frequently.

    I had been calling customer care of TATA indicom but all are in vain. Everytime they
    lodge the complaint and give me a new complaint number but no service is provided.

    Then I contacted customer care on email ie customerservice@tatacommunications.com
    and here I have been provided with a new complaint number but still the same.

    The following are the complaint numbers given to me on the email.

    9350808 on 03rd April 2009.
    9306648 on 28th March 2009.
    9225324 on 22nd March 2009.

    I request the concerned authority to look into the matter and do the needful.

    Thumbs down Very poor Customer experience

    Till now I had made my monthly payments without any backlogs. The last bill which I got was for Rs. 828, and I went to the office directly and made the payment of Rs. 800. But after 2 days my connection got suspended. When I enquired about this, I got the message that my internet got disconnected becasue of non-payment of shifting charge. I was ready to pay that, but this amount was not mentioned in my monthly bill also.

    I missed lot of important appointments and opportunities becasue of this cheap quality act from Tata Communication. Huge loss happened to me. I understood that TI is much more concerned about money than the customer satisfaction. They dont care about the customer.

    Default tata photon + plug and surf poor speed and now i need to pay 2710rupeees

    hello ,
    Sir i bought my tata photon with samsung laptop from forum mall ,bangalore on 28 feb 2010.with a plan of paying 1500 rupees (first two month 15 gb usage without rental and next 4 month 2gb extra if i go for my furthur plan).As i was unaware of thre bill date system and started my service aftr activation from 7 march-7 april -20 april......yesterday they call center ppl calld me and informed that u need to p[ay the amount to avail the facility ok. they calculated from 7-20 march as one month and second as 20 -20 april......so i got 5 gb extra usage in the 1st month they are saying...........no got 2710 amount to pay.

    now the connection they have disconnected !
    what to do know?

    Default Tata unauthorized service charge

    Dear Sir/ Madam,

    I am a tata mobile prepaid customer for a long time. i was happy with my services until today when came to know that TATA services has deducted Rs. 30 for an UNAUTHORIZED service which sends me news and some joke messages. I also received a message on 25 th or 26 th April that this service will contnue and revive automatically on the 30th April with a charge of Rs. 30 and was informed if i want to stop the service i should message STOP to some no. toll free, which i did 2 or 3 times.

    But today Rs. 30 was deducted for the same services, i called customer services and informed the same to which their reply was that this service cannot start automatically and was unable to tell me the "mode of activation" for which i was very surprised. After that i requested to talk to the supervisor who never came on line and now when i try to call the customer service no. the option of talking to Customer service representative is not available to me.

    I would now like stop the service and get m refund of service charge which i know is not a huge amount but this is not right and can happen again to anyone.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I purchase Tata photon + on 9th April 2010. The connection got activated after 10 days (its a shame) i also complained so many time to activate the same. After that i am facing a lot of problem regarding speed, it is always shows 10-0.30 kbps.
    When i complaint the same to the customer care, they sent a guy whose name is Mr Veenet kumar (JE feild office) on 19th April, he checked the connection and mentioned that he has noted down the frequency range and will redirect to the network department.
    I waited for two more days and again logged another complaint with the customer care and talk to one of the senior supervisor his name is Mr Rahul, he said within 24 hrs it will be resolved. But nothing from tata side for another 2 days than on 24th april i spoke to senior head her name is Ms Meena, she said she is forwarding an escalated email to the area head concerning the same and this will take 36 hours. but no action has been taken. They are saying some repeater device need to be fitted at the area (Indirapuram, Ghaziabad). But nothing till date. Yesterday i spoke to Mr Manjeet Singh and he again asked me to wait for another 24 hrs. But no call nothing from there side to resolve the issue.

    I have also noted down the complaints number and also recorded one call of the false promise made by one of the senior head.

    Compliant Trail:

    Purchase Date: 9th April 2010

    After Activation slow speed complaint on 18th April - Com No: 217364735
    On 19th April, One field officer Mr Veeneet Kumar visited my place and noted down the frequency and mentioned that need to route to the network department, p2p device or some enhancer need to fitted in the location (E-505, Shipra Krishna Vista Appt, Ahinsa Khand, Indirapuram, Ghz).

    On 22nd talked to Mr Rahul senior executive and promised this will be resolved within 24 hr but no action. Complaint No- 217858867

    On 24th Mr Veenet Kumar (same field officer visited and complain that why the device is not yet fitted and why they are sending me to check it agin. he has already routed to Network dept). I called your customer care Mr Harman said its mentioned in the ticket that some device need to be fitted and it will be done by 7 pm that day. In the evening at 6 pm i talked to Mr Rahul he denied this.
    Than i called once again and this time i talked to senior head Ms Meena Kumari, she said that she will escalate this and also written a email to the Area Head Ms Samradhi Kamran but no action.

    On 27th I talked to Mr Manjeet Singh on of the senior head - he confirmed that this will be taken care just give us 24 hr it will be resolved Complaint no- 612841998, but nothing..

    On 30th April talked to Mr Manish (Technical Dept), he promised the device will be fitted by 9 pm or tomorrow by 10 am.
    Meantime i got an bill mentioning the date 25th March to 25th April. Boss i purchased this on april and it got activated by 17th than why such bill.
    He noted down this and provide the compliant no 218841323.

    And today is 3rd of May, nothing from your concern department.
    I have also recorded calls of your senior head for further action.

    This is my last contact to you for the issue, I have enough proof and evidence to go to the consumer court.

    Note: No calls from your department, even after so many complaints. Only two calls regarding feedback of the service, there also i have mentioned the above complaints.
    Please let me know what action you are going to take.

    Hi ,

    I am Prashant Chauda, I have shifted Pune to Gurgaon ,

    While shifting I have booked all my goods through the Professional mover's and packers on date 26 Feb 2010.

    First of all they have delayed my goods and they have not unpacked and reassemble the bed , TV stand like i.e and also not deliver the plastic chair till now.

    Please guide me how I will file the case

    Default Tata Broadband Legal Notice Complaint

    Hello

    I applied for Tata Wimax broadband connection in September 2009 and received it on October 2, 2009.

    The agent told me that if I pay 4 months bill of Rs 6700 (approx) in advance I will get 1 extra month free. I paid that amount and began using the service.

    The service was slow - but it was ok. I continued using it until January 27 (approx).

    During this time, I never got any bills from Tata, but received 2 calls asking if the connection was ok.

    On or about January 27, 2010, my connection was suddenly disconnected, without any notice, phone calls, whatsoever.

    I called up customer care (no toll free number) and after 2-3 days I was told that I have an outstanding amount of Rs 399.

    I was very surprised. But I was given to understand that their billing cycle starts from October 11, so for those 9 days, I had to pay this amount.

    Nobody had told me about this, and I had never received any bills. But I complied anyways and paid. The connection was back.

    One month later, on or about February 22, my connection was again cut off.

    After repeated calls, they told me that my 4 months were over. (customer care is very poor and hardly speaks proper English)

    I told them that I am supposed to get an extra month free. But they kept saying I need to pay the current month's (Feb-march cycle) to get internet back.

    I work from home, so I need internet badly. Their poor service forced me to seek another provider, and I stopped using Tata. The instrument was switched off by me.

    I kept getting harassing calls from them, off and on, throughout the following month, but my internet was not back when I tried it a few times.

    On or about March 26, I got a call from them saying they would give me the extra month starting that day.

    I told them I dont care, I already have another connection. I also told them that since the one month is owed to me, they should give it anyway, and THEN STOP MY CONNECTION. I never used, or even checked, if the connection was back.

    On April 22, I got a call from them asking for outstanding amount.

    I was surprised and kept arguing with the next few callers from Tata, telling them my case.

    Throughout this period, I NEVER received any bills from them, though they have my address and phone number.

    Then a senior manager or someone called; I explained to him my case. At first he was polite, but he did not seem to listen to my complaint throughout the call. At the end, he was impolite and told me there will be legal consequences.

    This morning, I received a legal notice to pay Rs 1587 plus legal costs of Rs 500.

    My complaints:

    1. I was supposed to get 5 months of service, 1 month free, but I got a few days less than 4 months.

    2. I was not told of that extra Rs 399, their billing cycle rules etc. Maybe they have it in small print, but as everyone knows, nobody reads small print and a honest provider always verbally explains any charges.

    3. Line was cut off 2 times without any notice. I had to call customer care many times to know why.

    4. No BILLS were EVER received by me from Tata throughout this period, yet their legal notice claims they sent me regular bills, which is completely untrue.


    I do not want to pay their false bills. I had paid Rs 6700 (approx) in advance and not received full service due.

    I want to take this matter to court, if necessary.

    Moreover, I want to find out about every other customer who has had similar problems with Tata, and form an All India private consumer group to address this kind of issues so that these rich companies do not harass us.

    Please, if anyone has similar problems and wants to fight against this kind of injustice, email me at pshalo2002@yahoo.co.in to discuss the problems and create a consumer group.

    I am not giving my full name or phone number here because of fear of further harassment from Tata. But I will respond to all emails.

    Unhappy Tata Indicom Wireline Broadband - Incorrect Billing - Poor Customer Care Pune

    Hi,

    Plan DSL DS222-1000-Off peak plan

    My name is Anunay Kumar and i am staying in Magarpatta City, Pune. I have been using the DSL DS222-1000-Off peak plan for the month of Mar-April 2010. My broadband speed is 2 Mbps and it is unlimited between 8PM and 8AM. My day time free usage is 1.5GB.

    On 9th April, 8:45 AM as per the usage log provided by the customer care, my data usage is approx 2GB. I have been charged approx 1800 INR extra for that. I have sent many emails to the customer care and i am completely fedup and harrased with them.

    My data usage of 2GB is not possible at 8.45 AM because i have a unlimited free internet between 8PM and 8AM. Given this fact, it is not possible for Tata Indicom to charge me for 2GB data usage for a time span of 45 minutes. 2Mbps means a maximum speed of 244 kb/sec and at this speed nobody can download/upload 2GB of data. I told and explained this fact in an email to the customer care and they told it is possible. I am really amazed how illiterate the customer care guys could be. This is hilarious. The maximum speed that i ever got was just 130kb/sec.

    Moreover, i had to write numerous emails and calls to get the customer care guys address the issue. They are not ready to give their billing department contacts. The nodal officer's email address and phone number is useless. It is just for the sake of TRAI regulations.

    Please help me in this regard. Tata Indicom is the official broadband partner of the Magarpatta City, Pune as such they have complete monopoly as no other broadband companies can come here. I have no other option other than to continue with this 'dadagiri' of theirs.
