I used a reliance broadband service from may 08, i paid 1200 for the installation and one month advance. The service they provide was junk, worst and frustrating. I used it for my official purpose, always the net used to be disconnected. Whenever i call them they used to activate the net and on top of that i never had servis for approximately 1 week continously, then i decided to change the service provider and i opted for BSNL as it was critical to my job. and after 2 months i requested for the disconnection of the service. when i requested for the disconnection of the service they sent me a bill of 2000. i paid it and cleared it. Now after 2 more months they say that i have to pay more 2700 for force ful disconnection of the service before one year.
First thing is that why is that i need to pay for the days i did not get the service,
second is that why is that i have to use the service for 1 year when i am not satisfied with the service...the sales person never told me about the 1 year agreement, i have heard as an agreement for jobs, but never heard about an agreement for using a broadband service. These souls are sending recovery people to my house and torturing me. The broadband service user number is: 367837167170.

Hello,
You just ask them for a copy of the agreement, which is sufficient to drag them to the consumer court. After receiving the copy of the agreement just contact us again we will guide you accordingly, and if some recovery person come to your place then you can call on 1090 for their complaint or just dial 100.
No need to worry on this issue.

I too have a similar problem with Reliance.initially i was getting bills for rs.400 to rs.900.I paid them regularly.One month i was shocked with a bill of rs.1900.when i saw details an amount of rs.900 was billed for a single day.the details i sought were not given by reliance saying that their bills are generated by computer and hence error proof.then i decided to terminate the connection.next month they slapped me with a huge bill fo rs.3500 and kept reminding me to pay.now i got a notice from reliance lawyer to pay up rs.5300.can i go to a consumer court.kindly advise.

I used a reliance broadband service for about six months. The service that they provided was very poor and the line used to be disconnected frequently. When i called them they tried to activate the net from their call center, despite my saying that the line was disconnected. After the poor service i requested for the disconnection of the service. when i requested for the disconnection of the service they sent me a bill for the last two months and i paid for one month and refused to pay for the second month. Do i need to pay for the days i did not get the service. They had sent me a lawyer notice and they are sending me inflated bill every month. The broadband service user number is: 288868343840.
Kindly Help me in this regard and advise me what to do.

I used a reliance broadband service for about 6 months.The service that they provided was very poor. When i called them to activate the net they tried to activate it through their call center. Finally i was frustrated and asked them to disconnect the service and informed them them that i will not pay for the last month. Now they are sending me inflated bills for that particular month. Bill no 281791331070 dated 23-07-2009. They had sent me a lawyer notice and are sending me inflated bills. The original bill was for 466.20 and the inflated bill is 1500. Please advise me what to do. My broadband number was 288868343840. Kindly help me in this regard.

Dear Sir,
I am using a sify broadband connection since more than six month. I am paying rs 570/month for 64kbps unlimited plan, but, I am getting oftenly the internet disconnection error message. like IP conflict problem, not reaching the sify server, local area disconnection, power cut and many others too. I have complained about this many times to sify customer care over the phone calls as well as through mails and I asked for the compensation of one month and they had given me only 4 days compensation regarding this.
I asked them, how they counted the 4 days, they told me that for ur mails. I am saying that, is it I have mailed u the every time.
I need the proper compensation for this and also need compensation for menatl harrassment and not working day/hours/minutes.
Kindly Help me on this concern,

As already I have mailed you regarding my claim. Please consider it as
urgent otherwise I have to go for legal action against you. I was shocked
when received the bill from your side, though the phone was not working. Sir
this is a nastiest experience for me that you are not giving proper response
to a customer. Please pay me the Rs. 24700/- as soon as possible.
Further I want to know the status of my complain regarding misbehavior of
your customer care representatives. I observed that neither you are taking
me seriously nor my complaints. Many time I have called you, visited your
office. I can't believe that company is advertising itself as India's best
network, and is providing me most worst service ever.
This is for your kind information that I can go for a new connection from
any other company, but not doing only because this number is circulated to
all my family members, business links & friends. From this you can imagine
that how much significant this numbers to me. You
are not important for me. If there was option available for number
portability then I would surely chose other company.
I can arrogantly say that your company is providing me very dire service.
This is also for your kind information that my phone was not working from
27th of July to 30th of August (Excluding one or two days between this
period). On the other hand today this is working but there is so much voice
disturbance.
At last you are requested to either adjust my claim with your bills in
future or pay me urgent.

Dear Reliance Broadband Team,
Regret to say that the broadband connectivity provided is 'WORST". According to the
plan, the speed should be 75kbps and to my surprised even reliance home page is not
opening. And also, speed is going down day by day.
I complained this with the customer care on many occasions including the fresh
complaint which I made on 5th Oct'09 (complaint no 110515531). For this reference, I
also got a call in morning on 6th Oct (phone no from which I got a call is
080-30386115) from the field team stating that this is rectified but when I opened
the internet in evening, SAME ISSUE. It was not at all done by the Bangalore team
and passed the false information about the rectification to me.
The reason what I think regarding the slow connection is may be due to giving
oversubscriptions of connections over the capacity. (Wrong business model)
Hence, I request you to TERMINATE my internet connection from the immediate effect.

I have faced as many trouble as i can from reliance, in terms of connection speed, false statemntent by Marketing reps, Unskilled Technical Reps etc,.. Any how , I am so happy that i sumitted my Termination two months back, and got a CVF Termination Form.
But , i recived a bill this month with a waiver for Rs.1587 after Termination is done.
Is there any Possibility of getting that maney back as Cash/cheque?
i got a new connection with different provider.
They refuse to pay it backwhat shall i do.

Sir/Madam,
I am using Relaince Broadband service from last 3-4 months.
but I am facing the problem on slow internet speed and i m unable to connect to
Broadband +.
Inspite of my several reuest to RIM customer care no action were taken against that
. Even today also i called RIM Customer Care regarding the same but no complaint was
taken nor any kind of supoort or assistance was provided giving the reason that
server is down(this happening from last 3 weeks)
At the time of billing these people are calling 5 times in a day and night but
when it comes to resolve the problem no one bother to follow up the problem.
I have made several complaints and few no are :- 107012345 and 110294938 made on 2
oct at Vashi RIM center personal visit where i specified that my contatct timining
are after 10 pm weekdays and on Weekends can call anytime.
Please consider this problem as serious issue and take the necessary steps to
resolve my problems.

I have purchased a Reliance Data Card No. 9313091223 on 14-09-09 from Reliance
Communications 231, Parparganj Industrial Area Delh-92, Invoice No. 2390569543
Dated-14-09-09. Since that time I am not able to browse the Internet. I have
complained the same in written to the Reliance at Reliance Communications 231,
Parparganj Industrial Area Delh-92 dated 23/9/09, even I have also talked to their
Team Leader at their office Mr. Pratap but two time he gave me the time to visit my
office to resolve the problem but he also didn't come. After all these
communications I have talked to the Reliance Customer Care at 7:30 p.m on 11-Oct-09
regarding the same problem but the person named Gaurav he even was not ready to
launch the complaint after a huge request and discussion he gave me the complaint ID
110924112 and promiced me to resolve the problem within 24 hrs but till yet I
haven't recieved any solution.

Dear Sir,
As taking this issue forward. Today my wife has gone to pay bill for my broadband+
(Number : 9362258632) but wrongly paid the bill to cancelled datacard
connection(Number : 9364134873), As we have gone back to the r world for transfering
the paid amount. but the executives said its not possible. As we have given the
migration certificate before 2 months i am not liable to pay the datacard bill. So i
request you to transfer the bill to my Broadband+ number 9362258632.
Thier response of ok and process is very slow. i trust on management that a proper
action will be taken.
Note : As my Broadband + is getting disconnected out of not paying the bill as on
today (14/10/2009). pls take an immediate action as this broadband plays a major
role in my official work.
