Default Tata Indicom Plug2Surf: Problem on Windows 7 (64-bit)

    Hello,

I applied for Tata Indicom Plug2Surf wireless modem on 31st July 2010.

At the time of, purchase, I told to sales executive that I have WINDOWS 7 (64-bit) Operating System on my Laptop. In reply to that, he told me that Tata Indicom Plug2Surf works on Windows 7 (64-bit).

On 3rd August 2010, I got delivery of that device. Same executive installed drivers for that on my laptop & started Modem. He left in 5 mins & after that my laptop got restarted by showing blue screen with message "Installed software/hardware is not supported. Please contact to manufacture."

I called that Executive & he said that he'll visit & look into the issue. Same time, I called Tata Indicom Customer Care & registered complaint.

Then I called CC of manufacture of Modem "EpiValley". The person from 'EpiValley' told me that modem do not support on Windows 7 (64-bit) & asked me to download latest drivers from Tata Indicom site. Then I called Tata Indicom CC & told them what discussion happened between me & 'EpiValley' CC. Person from Tata Indicom CC also asked me to donwload latest drivers & try with them.

I downloaded respected drivers & tried with installing them but still same problem occurring. I again called 'EpiValley' CC & told that person the result. He said that there may be problem with the Drivers available on Tata Indicom site.

Till date, I called many times to Tata Indicom Customer Care but each time I just got answer that they will confirm this their Technical person & will get back to me. But no update from their side.

I also mailed to Nodal Officer regarding my issue but yet not got any reply from Nodal Officer.

I'm also trying to call that executive, but from last 1 week, he's not answering my phone & if I call him from any other number then he just tells me that on next day he'll visit me with 1 technical person. But till date he never visited to me.
