    Default Non installation of airtel dth

    I have booked a airtel dth connection on 7 july 2010 at 1600 hrs.
    I was assured that within 72 hrs the nearest airtel dealer will contact me and install the dth.
    But nothing was done, so i contacted dth customer care and they asked me to contact the dealer on my own which is against of what was promised to me.
    Also,the one month subscription which was free has been activated from 7 july 2010 only.
    I request to please take necessary action at the earliest so i don't have to face any more mental harassment.

    Default Airtel dth nodal officer

    Hello,
    As you mentioned that you have already registered your complaint with the AIRTEL DTH customer care but still not get any response, so we suggest you to send a written notice to the Nodal Officer via email or registered post, mention all the details in it and ask them for the proper solution with in the mentioned time in the notice, wait for their response and revert us back.
    Note: Keep all the copy of Complaint, Notice and the registered post slip, this may help you if you need to knock the consumer forum.

    Thumbs down poor customer service by airtel dth

    Airtel DTH has worst kind of customer care service. Simply they don’t care about their customers at all.

    We had requested for dismantling and installation from Mumbai to Navi Mumbai. First they have not turned up for dismantling they promised and now it's over a week my DTH has not been installed after repeated promise from several customer service representatives who I found highly unprofessional . Also to my surprise they sent a few SMS that says my service request has been resolved.

    Furthermore my account is being charged everyday despite of non use resulted by Airtel's poor service quality.

    Can any customer caring personnel from Airtel who reading this can help please?
