This is regarding ESCALATION of the Airtel Broadband Connection.
I had a request for Airtel Broadband Connectionfor Indrapuram. For that, Pratul Kumar Bajpai contacted
me. He showed me his Airtel Business Card showing his designationas `Senior
Officer¿.
I am a resident of Sec 26 Noida. I asked him that I need Airtel Braodband
Connection at Indrapuram for my sister. He told me that I cannot get a new
Airtel Connection at Indrapuram as no new slots are available at Indrapuram.
Only slots are available for transfer connection. So the only option is to get
a new connection at Sec 26 Noida and then get it transfer to Indrapuram.
I asked him that if is it is the only way to do that then please go that.
Pratul told me that once I get first bill for 4272279 (connection at Sec 26
noida) , he will transfer the connection to Indrapuram. I asked him that will I
be charged for getting it transfer to Indrapuram. He replied no and as surety
he provided me written statement on paper saying that he will transfer my
connection to my sister¿s name to Indrapuram. I have that paper with me.
He took Rs 2500 as advance Rental and gave me receipt.
I got a new Airtel Braodband connection having number 0120-4272279 at 26 Noida.
I got my first bill off Rs 350. I called him that get it transfer to
Indrapuram. He told me that for that I need to submit some of my sister¿s
document. I did that. He asked for Rs 1000 from me and told me that he got some
special permission for new connection at Indrapuram for me. He told me that Rs
1000 will be needed for new connection. I asked him to get it setteled from the
Rs 2500 which I gave as sdvance rental. He told me that Rs 1000 is need for new
connection. What he can do is he will return me the remaining money of advance
rental i.e 2500-350= near Rs 2150 as cheque.
So gave him Rs 1000 and got new connection at B401 Princess Park, Back side
D.P.S Indrapuram.
On 20 March, I followed up for the Cheque and he told me that he will get it by
March month end. So I called him on 5 April. He told me that he will get it in
next week. I talked to Airtel Customer Care that whether they received any
request for my number 0120-4272279 cancelation. They replied no. I talked to
Pratul regarding the same and he replied that I need not to worry as he had
already send that request to backend to get my connection cancelled.
So I called him next week also. I keep on following him till last week. Last
week he told me that my cheque is generated and he got the cheque for Rs 1995
and he is coming today to give mycheque. I asked that I need Rs 150 more as the
amount expected to receive is Rs 2150. He replied that he will send the request
for the same also and get it done.He told me that he is coming. But he did not
came. Next day I called him at his number 9818630417 and found that this number
does not exist. I was surprised. I called Kapil at 9811180570, who gave new
connection at my sister¿s home at B401 Princess Park, Back side D.P.S
Indrapuram, to talk to Pratul and ask him to give me cheque .
He told me that he will get back to me. But after two three days again I called
him and he replied the same. Today I called Sagar Sharma at 9871298017.
He told me to come to Airtel office. I visited the office today and come to
know that Pratul Kumar Bajpai (Senior Officer of Noida) had resigned on 1st of
May.
I am bothered about the hard cash that I have given to him. No matter which
person is dealing with me I am interested to get my money back from AIRTEL. The customer
should not be bothered if any of the employee changes his job. It is the sole
responsibility of the Company to grant the exclusive right to the customer for
which he is entitled. This is really frustrating and weird service provided by
Airtel.
I received below three ticket numbers:-
Miss commitment Ticket Number : 32857292
Refund related Ticket Number :- 32857526
Cancelation related Ticket Number:- 32861104
I had discussion with Airtel customer care but they are providing me refund of only Rs 456.
As I earlier specified that on 20 March, I was told that Pratul Kumar Bajpai ,Senior Officer of Airtel, had sent request to backend guys to disconnect my number. You can see on my Airtle bill that 22nd March is the last day when I have used that number and I was told that not to use that number anymore, as it is going to be disconnected. So I stopped using it from 22nd March.
1, In the month of April, I received bill for complete month for Rs 745.70. I should had got the bill till 22nd March only. Pratul told me to ignore it, as I will be getting final cheque in some days.
2,In the month of May, I received another bill for complete month for Rs 660.70. As I was told not to use that number. So for that month my usage was ZERO.
3, in the month of June, I received another bill for Rs 362.45. And for that month also, my usage was ZERO.
On 9th April, my balance amount was Rs 1479. But as my last usage is till 22nd March, so I should be
charged till 22nd March only. And I should get refund for the rest of the money that had been charged from
23rd March till date.
Please help me in this case.
